A bit of a disappointment due to the ratings given by others. It's an ok 3 star hotel. The staff were average except for the receptionist who was friendly and tried to please. The overall vibe from staff was that they are doing their job. Lacked professionalism and a bit of polish. Just because the hotel is 3-star doesn't mean the staff have to be average. Breakfast was average. Limited choices. Didn't even have signs to indicate what the different options were. Had to guess. Staff didn't ask if we wanted eggs or pho. Only discovered it was available by watching other guests being served. One choice of bread. No pastries. The rooftop bar was a bit of a joke. I thought the music from the neighbouring bar was coming from the non-existent rooftop bar until I was informed otherwise by reception. It felt like it was coming from the next door room until midnight. Location was pretty handy. That's about the best attribute. It's an ok 3 star hotel with no character or amenities.

This hotel was in such a convenient location in the old quarter that you can just walk out of the hotel to get food, massage, and anything you want. Breakfast was nice too! Only downside is that my room faced the busy street, so it was noisy throughout the night. People were fixing the road overnight so the noise made it difficult to sleep. Otherwise a great hotel, and would stay again.

We had a lovely stay here overall. The location was great and staff lovely. Rooms were comfortable and breakfast was good. The down side: although it says access to a pool - and we expected a walk a few minutes - we were told by one staff member it was 20mins walk and another that it was 'under renovation' - unlikely in the middle of summer. There is no pool access. We were recommended a public pool 20min drive away where we would have to pay entry. This was extremely disappointing as there are nicer hotels for similar price in the old quayer without pools which we may have booked. We had interconnecting rooms however this was via a third door to enclose the two rooms with a small hall. This meant we could not close our kids' door as we would not have been able to get back in if they were sleeping (the key was needed for the aircon). The hall was also a 'common hall' when the locked door was not in use and therefore had sensor lights which came on throughout the night if others were on the level. Given we couldn't close our room doors this was annoying. Roof top was not fitted with furniture to spend time up there and no lights at night.

The staff were nice, tried to be very helpful. However, even though you book a “Courtyard Room”, it doesn’t have a courtyard and no view at all. It gives you a rooftop area, however, at night it’s very dark to get too and there are no chairs to sit on! It says access to pool, what it doesn’t say is, you have to pay a fee to access it a different hotel. It needs a lot of care and attention to make it a four star hotel.

Only problem we had was the live music each night from next door 9pm until 1 am not good when you have to get up at 4am for a long haul flight and 6.30am other days for day trips
