The hotel is in a great location, and the reception staff were excellent, friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the breakfast. Despite hearing great reviews, we waited around 35–40 minutes for our food. After waiting so long, I asked a member of staff in the bar area how much longer it would be, but she couldn't have been less helpful. Her attitude and facial expression made it feel like we were an inconvenience. When our full English breakfast finally arrived, it was clear it had been sitting under a hot plate for some time. Everything was overcooked, dry, and not particularly enjoyable. It was a real shame, as the breakfast experience let down what was otherwise a pleasant stay.

Very loud music from the bar until late at night. Bad smell everywhere. Breakfast didn't open before 0830.

If you enjoy paying premium prices to sleep inside what feels like a badly amplified pub rehearsal room, this hotel is perfect. My room was directly above one pub and next to another, meaning every single night came with a free concert from musicians who sounded like they had discovered their instruments earlier that same afternoon. The live music was so loud it genuinely felt like the band was playing at the foot of my bed. Bass vibrating through the walls, drunken shouting outside, and terrible covers blasting until 1 AM — EVERY night of the week. Forget sleep. Forget relaxation. Forget basic sound insulation. Even earplugs were useless. The most frustrating part is that the hotel clearly knows about this issue, yet nowhere is it honestly communicated when booking. Calling this a “hotel room” is generous — it was more like renting a mattress in the middle of a pub crawl. Absolutely ruined the stay. Would never return and cannot recommend to anyone who values sleep, peace, or basic comfort.

Stayed 4 nights

I loved the location, very accessible to the tourist attractions. The only thing we like to address is the shower head water is too slow and with 4 people there's only one chair in the room. But overall we like the hotel.
