Pool was very hot, we live not far from here, our pool has to 15 or 20 degrees cooler. Looks like thetevwas a disconnect when being built. The ledge all around the pool suggests they were trying to build a large spa. Staff was nice room was ok.

Didn’t like being locked out after taking a morning swim. Pool open dusk to dawn but what they don’t tell you is pool door won’t open until 8 am to get back in. Make sure you can contact someone to let you in! Room floors are uneven. There is only one washer and dryer for guest use in the hotel and people like to hog it.

The property is clean..close to bars on main street..fairly new hotel..clean..small pool and outside sitting area..ok for a quick swim but not somewhere you would want to relax and chill..it is fine for a couple of nights. The breakfast is very basic..poor coffee..and very little choice of anything..although it did have scrambled egg and sausage.we have stayed a couple of times and would stay again because of the location that suits us and because the rooms are modern and clean.

One of two elevators was out and ice machine on 2nd floor was out of service. Apparently some kids were jumping in elevator and caused the outage but caused major inconvenience for all! Staff very friendly and mostly clean facilities. Very convenient location - close to downtown and a public beach!

We were there for two weeks. The beds are great. But since we were extended stay, the cleaning was very spotty. Notice a lot of dirt in the hallways in the elevators so if you don’t know, your floor is a little dirty. It’s a great place to stay.

The check in was easy and lobby was clean- parking was limited. The room cleanliness was terrible- vent in bathroom was filthy, requested it be cleaned, apparently they swatted at it with a washcloth and called it clean. There was mold on the caulk in the shower, and we asked 3 times for the floors to be clean- we eere there for 5 days- they said they only mop floors weekly- never mopped. I wouldn't recommend this facility fue to the lack of cleanliness due to housekeepers. All other staff were pleasant and accomodating.

It was a good stay! Staff so friendly. Breakfast really good! My only complaint was that the room wasn’t really clean. The bedding was clean, but nothing detailed had been done, like floors, bathroom & coffee maker.

I have stayed at this property several times since it opened a couple of years ago and have always had a pleasant experience except this time. I woke up the next morning after my first night and had mutiple insect bites on my arms and legs. I immediately checked my bed for bed bugs but didnt see any signs of such. I dont know what bit me up but it was very alarming Not seeing any bed bugs lead me to believe it was some other kind of insect.

This has to be the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything was new. Looked like nobody had ever occupied my room before me. Staff was constantly cleaning inside and outside the property. I was blown away. Highly recommend this hotel!

Room was clean and in good working condition EXCEPT the shower caulking was riddled with mold. I placed a towel on floor of shower to as wet touching edges. Also the showers have no soap dispenser. They do provide a bar of soap…but no place to store it while washing and rinsing off.placed it on the towel inside shower but that’s quit a distance to reach for this 80 year old couple. Breakfast was great, super clean, nice choices. Just address the shower situation to make it a very nice experience.

I asked the front desk about it and was told there should be a shower mat-there wasn't(they even looked themselves), and provided one. They said housekeeping must have forgotten. Upon check out I told the desk that was my biggest complaint. This time they said they hear that often and don't like to provide the mats. So which is it? Was it suppose to be there on not? The other complaint was no meat (bacon, sausage, ham) at breakfast. Also no juice-just coffee. A family came down when I was there and they wanted juice as well. Nope.I did go back later and it was there. Maybe someone complained?

Zero complaints about the staff or cleanliness. Bathroom and bedroom were huge- plenty of space. The complimentary breakfast was really the only thing disappointing about my multi-day stay. For the convenience it was barely adequate- but not an amenity worth touting. The floor of the bedroom had a very unusual large (wide and deep) dip in the floor. Not readily noticeable to the eye, but one certainly noticed it when walking over it. I would still rate this hotel above average in terms of quality.

I stayed for 6 days and breakfast had hot and cold options and the workers would be so nice and tell you if breakfast was almost over so you could get whatever else you needed. Room was good and clean, but the A/C was older and we had to keep adjusting for comfort. Bed was a little more firm than my liking. Hallways were very warm for Florida weather. Area was safe and quiet. Not much hallway noise. I'd stay again.

I was on the 5th floor. Walked into room and the beds were leaning like floor was not level. Tiles were uneven and shims were put in corners. They even had to level toilet with shims. Crazy for a building only about a year old. Really poor workmanship. Took literally 20 of running water through tub to get hot enough water to shower. Complained and was told to not shower between 9:30 and 4 pm because the washers use all the hot water for bedding. Lastly they do not take any cash and require cc for $100 incidental deposit.

This is a newer Comfort Inn and the room was well laid out with plenty of room for luggage. Additionally :black out blinds, a night light in the bathroom, microwave and small fridge meant that it was well equipped. The beds were comfy and the shower/bath worked well, although it could have been hotter! Breakfast was sausages, French toast, scrambled eggs and make your own waffles. Also there were pastries, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, toast, yoghurt and fruit. The breakfast area is larger and not cramped and the foyer area was comfortable so that we saw people enjoying themselves reading, working, playing cards and chatting. The gym looked ok and the pool although small was clean.

We enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn and the room was clean and spacious enough for our 3 day stay. Plenty of free parking and the breakfast was very good and included in the rate. Excellent service and friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again.

Amy, the property Manager made this experience worse for my wife and daughter. In a town where they were unfamiliar with,the property manager decided to cancel the prepaid reservation because supposedly she didn’t find the reservation in the system. Amy told my wife while I was on the phone talking to my wife that she didn’t need to be there and did not even want to speak to me nor my wife. Needless to say my wife and daughter where in unknown territory at almost midnight lost and nowhere to go because of Amy. If this is the Management I could imagine the rest of her direct reports. I ended up getting a hotel last minute in Wesley Chapels where my wife had to drive another 30 minutes after driving for 4.5 hours to get a decent night sleep for a conference that morning. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced ever!! We will NEVER touch or stay anywhere near another comfort inn even if it’s the last one.left in the world! Amy thanks for ruining our trip and the memories in the New Port Richie area.

I wanna give a big shout out to certain staff i have been going to this hotel for over a year now. i stayed there three times in june of 2025. Lisa at the front desk totally awesome and great kylie who also works the front desk is great and awesome as well.laura who does breakfast is always on point with making sure everything is out in time and ready just a wonderful woman. Now i have to save the best for last shorty you are a great man and a great father i appreciate the time we have spent talking and i know for a fact my son just loves this place because of all you and what you do to make him feel welcome everytime we walk in and it doesnt go on noticed by me and you all should be very proud of what you do.
I wanna give a big shout out to certain staff i have been going to this hotel for over a year now. i stayed there three times in june of 2025. Lisa at the front desk totally awesome and great kylie who also works the front desk is great and awesome as well.laura who does breakfast is always on point with making sure everything is out in time and ready just a wonderful woman. Now i have to save the best for last shorty you are a great man and a great father i appreciate the time we have spent talking and i know for a fact my son just loves this place because of all you and what you do to make him feel welcome everytime we walk in and it doesnt go on noticed by me and you all should be very proud of what you do.

After a long day of travel we arrived at 1 and asked if it would be possible to check in early. The desk clerk didn’t get a chance to respond as an older lady responded absolutely not! We had 57 checkouts the room won’t be ready until 3. I have never felt less welcome. The free wifi was out of order so that was falsely advertised. Also the room we had was by a back door which only slammed shut loudly every time it opened. When we checked in the clerk was snippy honestly it’s the worst Comfort in stay I’ve ever had. I’m grateful I’m moving to a different hotel tomorrow where I may be able to sleep.

Great hotel. Horrible receptionist. Apparently, management gets many complaints from Shorty the night receptionist. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with him as well. Rude, not helpful, not knowledgeable. We were angry & almost in tears at his behavior. Thank goodness Lisa the day receptionist, was quite the opposite. She even apologized many times for her co workers bad behavior. Hotel was clean, quiet, & decent parking. Our room had refrigerator & microwave. Everything in our room worked & lots of towels. The property was clean, staff was friendly, daily room service with beds made and fresh towels. Check in was easy and quick. We were able to walk to Dunkin, Starbucks & McDonalds which was nice. You are walking down a main drag but it had a side walk and crosswalks with lights. It is not a glamorous hotel but perfect for a quick trip!

There is free wifi at the property. The room was clean. The breakfast bar was free and had very good options. The only downside was that early check in (we arrived an hour and a half early for 3pm check in due to an early flight) was not available and they could only check us in about 30 mins earlier than 3pm. There is a free trolley that picks you up and drives you to the downtown area where all the restaurants and shops are. The driver was very pleasant and informative. They have stops where you can wait about 5 minutes and you are returned to the hotel.

One of the best hotel stays we have ever had. The staff greeted us each morning and asked if they could help at all. There was a trolley system to see the downtown area on weekends. Most places were short drives or walks. Loved the size of the suite we reserved. Very nice.

There wasn’t much and if you went too late even less to choose from. They either ran out and wouldn’t have more until the next day or just didn’t restock. Normally hot food was just eggs, sausage and waffle maker. The eggs were good, better than most hotels but it was the same thing everyday and no other hot food. There was bread for toast, corn bread muffins, cereal and sometimes bananas. But that was all. Even for a hotel breakfast there’s usually bagels, some pastries, another hot item like bacon or something. Out of 5 mornings only one morning there was yogurt. But the eggs were the best I’ve had out of any hotel I’ve been too so kudos to that. Improve on breakfast selection and it would be great!

We enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn and the room was clean and spacious enough for our 3 day stay. Plenty of free parking and the breakfast was very good and included in the rate. Excellent service and friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again.

Likes: Very clean, and quiet. Comfortable beds, and a good selection of tv channels. A free trolley runs a circle from the hotel (and others ?), to downtown Port Richey every 15 minutes. Dislikes: the shower tub is EXTREMELY slippery. It wasscary (I'm 64). I asked the front desk about it and was told there should be a shower mat-there wasn't(they even looked themselves), and provided one. They said housekeeping must have forgotten. Upon check out I told the desk that was my biggest complaint. This time they said they hear that often and don't like to provide the mats. So which is it? Was it suppose to be there on not? The other complaint was no meat (bacon, sausage, ham) at breakfast. Also no juice-just coffee. A family came down when I was there and they wanted juice as well. Nope.I did go back later and it was there. Maybe someone complained?

Building new and in good condition. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Quiet with convenient parking. Room floors require cleaning - not just vacuum. Breakfasts were inconsistent with key items like bacon and peanut butter running out early. Hygiene practices need to be improved - should not have to select utensils like forks and spoons by the eating end - it’s almost impossible to select without touching others. Staff should wear gloves when changing garbage next to coffee. Especially when they’re preparing and the food items.

The hotel is clean since it is new. It is located very close to Port Richey downtown and 15 minutes to Torpon Spring. The breakfast was poor. Today we showed up at 9am (it was supposed to gonuntil 9:30), but there really wasn’t much left. Only one burned sausage and 3 pieces of something similar to french toasts. When I asked, I was told by the lady who was putting things away that her oven was already turned off and no more could be made.
