Pros: clean, comfortable beds, 24 hour coffee, water and sparkling water. Staff very nice and accommodating. Dove products for sink and shower, hair dryer, plenty of towels. Cons: doors slam, can hear most everything around you, no real parking. A couple of spots out front and some on the side, however, staff assured I was fine where I parked but I still received a ticket!

This hotel is clean and beautiful and the customer service was excellent. Our room was clean and beautifully designed very modern. Dove products are provided in the bathroom. Many towels are also provided. Free coffee is available in the lobby 24-7 since no coffee maker in room but there is a small refrigerator and safe. Free breakfast is grab and go in the lobby. There is underground parking for $30 a night with no in and out privileges however garage has very limited spaces and it will s very tight. Would not recommend a large SUV. Overall stay was great and I would definitely recommend

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The beds are extremely comfortable. I like that they offered breakfast, but the food options were very limited. They didn't have any pancakes, waffles, French toast, bacon, sausage, or much HOT breakfast that most IHG hotels have. It was also hard to get parking around the area. The parking garage is small and was not able to fit our SUV so we couldn't even pay for parking. Also, there were no microwaves in the hotel room, which was a little inconvenient. They also don't have a pool. But overall, the hotel is nice, safe and clean.

My husband and I came into the city for dinner and decided to stay here. Glad we did because the aesthetic was beautiful we were able to grab a parking pass and park in the garage so that was great also

Tiny parking garage is difficult to maneuver in without hitting a column. Only room for six cars. Room was very small but pleasant. Price doubled for weekend between Xmas and New Years. Then another charge to park which was not disclosed on Expedia.

Pleasantly surprised by this no-frills but very clean and modern hotel option. When I stay away from home, the most important thing to me is cleanliness. I can't relax if my surroundings are clean. The avid was very clean. I loved that there was no carpet in the rooms (much easier to clean). The all-white linens also added to the clean feelings. Highly recommend to others who appreciate cleanliness and will keep the place clean :)

The room didn’t have anywhere to put folded clothes, just several large hooks on the wall. This may have been partly due to being in an accessible room. It was mostly very clean, but there were a couple of hairs on the shower wall. Bed was comfortable enough, but not luxurious. Staff were all wonderful!

Room really laid out well and super clean. Black out shade worked well. Breakfast was nice. Loved that room didn't have carpet. Really clean. Shower pressure and cleanliness were off the charts. Towels could use an upgrade.

Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable. It was also very walkable and felt safe. The staff were very nice and helped us out more than once during our stay. Cons: The walls are very thin. I heard the person in the room next door sneeze while I was in my room. The breakfast isn’t the best. It was first come first serve and I didn’t see items get restocked.

The breakfast was truly grab and go. I did appreciate the 24 hr access to filtered water and coffee. The room was decent but it the rooms were not sound proof o could hear a baby cruing in the next room and all of the vehicles passing by.

For my purposes the location could not be better. Breakfast was offered and coffee and tea available 24/7. The place was updated and clean. A little loud but it is the city after all. Room was small but adequate. I’d stay her again.

This is a great hotel. There are many restaurants and shops within >5mile radius. The neighborhood is fairly busy but feels very safe. The hotel grounds and rooms are very clean and updated. It stays fairly quiet inside so you can get rest. The doors do slam hard tho. The rooms have google cast for streaming. The AC works great. A small fridge but no microwave, unfortunately. This will remain my first option if I'm in the area.

I was in NYC for ten days. The staff was really friendly and answered all our questions. When we checked out at 11, we were able to leave our baggage in the hotel, since our flight home left late in the evening. So we could take a final walk in the neighborhood. I felt very safe in your hotel! Thanks for your great work! If I ever come back to NYC, I would stay in this hotel again.

The property itself was clean and newer but the night desk staff was rude and uninformed. We were told we would have parking reserved each night for a cost. We took that to mean we had a reserved slot for our entire stay. The next day we went to park and were told it was full. We had to reserve it each day….that was not what we were told when we checked in. The girl on the night desk the other two nights we were there sat in the lounge on her phone or visiting with friends. Had to actually search for her….very unprofessional.

This is our 3rd time here, and I won't go anywhere else. I also recommended the Avid to friends. The guy at the desk named Moe is so cool. He'll bend over backwards to make sure you're happy during your stay. Everyone there is very friendly. We'll be going back next week.

The staff was friendly and quick to help with anything. The lobby has coffee options to brew one cup at a time which is very nice. Also, there were tea options and a water dispenser to fill your water bottle. I would recommend this hotel!

From the first day, the staff were just fantastic. Helping us find rooms right across the hall from each other that were spotless when we walked in. We walked to the subway each day, which was a short and highly convenient walk. We got to explore every day, and then the small market at the front desk was perfect to grab a water before heading to our rooms at night.

My stay was affordable and comfortable. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the bed and pillows were better than expected —I requested feather-free pillows, and they obliged. The location is convenient, within walking distance to a bodega, dining options, and other amenities. It’s also close to the freeway, which made getting around easier. Around Coney Island is about 30 minutes away, depending on traffic. The staff was professional and courteous. Overall, I would recommend it.

Enjoyed our stay! The facility is in good condition and very clean. Simple breakfast included, plenty of FREE parking around the hotel, and 5min walk to metro station (R line). Staff is pleasant but reduced a star because they are not very knowledgeable about general tourist attractions.

The hotel was very clean. The staff is very helpful. I will differently stay here again. Only issue is the parking inside the building. The cost per day and no guarantees you get you parking stall with the limited of space they have. Hard to find parking outside. Other than that, you can catch the train which is 4 blocks away and the bus stops next to the hotel. Taxi and uber is another option.

We used to stay at the Best western Gregory hotel and it is an overpriced dump. We found the Avid nearby and had a great stay. The hotel is new so everything is clean and updated. They also have a pretty decent breakfast selection and coffee. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We will be coming again

Great place to stay if you want to stay in the Brooklyn area. It's conveniently located nearby the 86st, R train stop and also a bus stop nearby. They have shops nearby for food and shopping. The only thing we didn't like is the parking. The breakfast was great! Bagels, cereal, oatmeal packs, muffins and even greek yogurt! Veggie omelet already individually wrapped for easy TO GO. Fresh apples and bananas. Pretty decent coffee and wide selection of tea as well. If you want onsite parking lot, you pay extra for it but its first come first served and it does NOT give you the privilege to go in & out. Your better off finding street parking and save yourself that money.

The property is extremely clean inside the hotel room and lobby area. There is free breakfast daily but not a large selection and the omelets run out quickly. My quaint room had all the functionality ones needs, but was missing a microwave. There is one to access in the common area in the hotel lobby. The elevators move slowly and take some time to come when alerted. Other than that I had a fun time staying Brooklyn Dryker Hotel IHG.
