This is my 3rd time staying here and I will continue to do so when I travel to DR. Some of the reasons I stay here are: location, affordability, breakfast included, and parking available. This time we ate dinner at the hotel and did not like it at all, you’re better off eating in the nearby restaurants. However, when we mentioned it to the waiter, they removed the undercooked item from our check which was very nice of them. The breakfast offers a good variety of options and its buffet style right on the property whereas other places don’t offer breakfast or offer it in a nearby restaurant. I love that they also have a gym. It’s smalls but it has a few weights, treadmill and elliptical, enough to get a quick workout in.

I liked the property and the rooms were very nice. Staff is great. The only thing I did not like was the noise level in the morning. If you want to sleep in you can’t because you can hear everything that is going on in the hallways. Doors being slammed people walking and talking. The cleaning people going from door to door and having conversations in the hallways. None the less, it was a great experience. Parking in the side the building was 11 dollars which I think should be included if the guest is staying at the hotel.

It's a lovely hotel. Rooms are fine, and the roof terrace is great. It doesn't have a proper restaurant, but you can meals on the roof terrace and on room service, and there are many decent restaurants nearby. Breakfast on the terrace was really nice. The downside for us was that Expedia allowed us to book a superior room with a balcony which turned out to be not available. So we had to make do with a rather small, cramped room with a shortage of furniture. The off-road covered parking was excellent, but they charged us extra for it ($11 per day).

La propiedad es muy buena. Habitaciones no son muy grandes pero cómodas y con un baño amplio. Me quedé en la sección nueva que fue remodelada. El desayuno es bueno y con muy buena atención. La 1ra. noche llegué un sábado y me quedé en el 3er. piso de la sección nueva y fue hoorible la noche debido a que encima quedaba la terraza y todo ruido y fue continuo se escuchaba además, había una actividad y tuve a las 2:30 AM que pedir cambio de habitación. El hotel debe hacer algo para insular el ruido que se sienmte directo en habitaciones del 3er. piso. Al dia siguiente me mudaron al 2do. piso y feu tranquilo y excelente todo el tiempo. Catalogo el hotel muy bueno y lo recomiendo salvo las habitaciones debajo de la terraza. Realmente fuera de ese percance muy buena y satisfactoria estadía.

Hace 10 años solía quedarme aquí cuando solo había un edificio y todo era maravilloso. Ahora, con el nuevo edificio, me dieron una habitación allí. Se ve bien en fotos, pero no hay aire acondicionado. Enviaron a los técnicos tres veces y solo reiniciaban la máquina. En el baño, la puerta se abre de manera incorrecta y es fácil quedarse atrapado si estás solo. El Internet es débil y no funciona, parece que solo tienen un módem para todo el edificio, y si tu habitación está lejos del ascensor, no hay Internet. El desayuno siempre es bueno, pero el estacionamiento es confuso. La llave de tu habitación debería abrir la puerta del estacionamiento, pero nunca funciona.

Para ser un desayuno bufet es muy pero muy limitado, además no es variado y el personal del desayuno funcionó mejor solo cuando estaban los jefes presentes. El internet muy malo, realmente limitado o sin funcionamiento. El personal es amable, el Sky bar es muy chévere y tiene buen servicio. Pidan siempre una habitación con ventana o balcón. Las otras solo tienen una pequeña ventanita por el baño y son terribles. La ubicación es muy buena y es de los mejores hoteles que se ven conservados y bien en la zona colonial.

La limpieza y la atención del personal estuvieron bien sin embargo el elevador se descompuso cuando ibamos a subir a la habitacion y a pesar de ir una persona de 3era edad siempre nos dejaron en el 3er piso lo cual le costo un poco a mi madre el subir, la habitación olia a humedad y lo que mas molesto es que cuando estabamos durmiendo la cama se quebro demostrando la falta de mantenimiento del lugar, a pesar del inconveniente el personal actuo rapido y nos dio otra habitacion para que la mitad de las personas se trasladarán a la misma ya que eran las 12 am. Pedimos para el ultimo dia que nos prepararan un snack ya que saliamos del hotel a las 5am y no nos lo tenian listos. Sinceramente el precio del hotel no se justifica con el servicio y las instalaciones que ofrecen, es una mala experiencia la que ofrecen.

The lobby was nicely renovated but our room was really old and felt dirty with permanent stains on the floors and a less then pleasent bathroom. The fan, which was automatic when turning on the lights, was increibly loud that we tried avoiding turning the lights on .

Had a lovely stay at this hotel for a few days with my mom. We’re visiting the country & first time I’ve stayed en la Zona Colonial. First off I’ll say that the staff were great, very responsive, nice and professional! We had a bit of an inconvenience of getting a room that was not fully cleaned (found some hair that was not ours in the shower drain & bedroom floors) — this was unfortunate, but quickly remedied after we shared it with the manager. I also wish the water was a bit warmer, but can’t really complain, overall great stay. Rooftop was a plus, lovely breeze up there! I definitely recommend— very convenient!

I really enjoy staying Hotel Europa the staff at the hotel are friendly and all ways helpful. The hotel is very clean and the area where it’s located is safe and walkable to most restaurants. I do have one complaint and that is the noise. My hotel room was directly below the the roof top bar and one night the music was so pound it felt the walls and me bed were vibrating from the music and not too mention the loud music continued until almost 2:00 am. But, I highly recommend the hotel. My next visit, I will bring ear plugs just incase

Solo Traveller. Check in was chaotic. Very busy at 3pm. Rooms not finished cleaning. Reception Staff were very nice, polite, helpful and friendly throughout my 2 night stay. Room was really clean; bed was comfortable. I didn’t like not having a window but the room was a good size and I didn’t feel claustrophobic. There were no bedside lights so it was either bright or completely dark. Coffee making facilities definitely aimed at the Dominican guests. Tiny shot size paper coffee cups. I had taken sachets of cappuccino coffee and mint tea bags but there was no kettle and the cups weren’t big enough anyway. I am British and live in DR. I would definitely stay here again but pay a bit more for a room with a window. The hotel is well placed for visiting Zona Colonial and getting Uber was no problem.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado y está bien en general. Pero tuve una pésima experiencia por la señorita de recepción llamada MARIA, mi mamá estaba muy grave y le pedí ayuda para que me dijera de algun hospital a donde poder llevarla. Y simplemente decía que no sabía cuál quería, que había muchos y hasta con tono burlón y yo con una EMERGENCIA. De verdad la pasamos fatal. El PEOR servicio que he tenido. Tuve que buscar ayuda y buscar un hospital en Google a donde llevar a mi mamá de urgencia, porque MARÍA no me ayudó, sino todo lo contrario. De verdad que PÉSIMO SERVICIO y ATENCIÓN. una pena que tengan personal tan grosero y mal capacitado.

Reservé con ellos la primera noche de mis vacaciones, mi sorpresa al llegar de madrugada fue que habían cancelado mi reservación ya pagada, nadie me avisó, en ese momento no me ofrecieron ni una disculpa, ni un vaso de agua, me toco dormir con mis hijos un poco en unos sillones y salir a buscar otro hotel, aun no recibo la devolución de mi dinero, la actitud del personal del turno y su gerente ha sido de lo peor que he visto, su única ayuda fue llamar por teléfono a otro hotel y decirme camine 4 cuadras y lo encontrara. Si no quieren arriesgar sus vacaciones les sugiero tomar en cuenta este comentario.

Property was very nice, very clean, staff very nice. Issues arised during check-in when they couldnt find my reservation was paid. Had to contact expedia and wait 45 mins to be allowed to check in. When we were leaving to go on a walking tour, noticed a group of 4 having the same problem. Location is great, area around hotel was safe and lobby was cute. Negatives include a hot room, lucky if it got to 74-75 and it took 4-5 hours to get to that. Shower floor is slippery, bathroom door didnt close, pillows werent great, bed is very firm, and there was a red blinking light in the middle of the room over the bed which was awful. At first glance and for the price and location and service, 5 stars. But several annoying things brought down the overall stay at the property.
