Well, first of all… great gym! Also right next to historical land mark… named after Forrest Gump’s Relative! The room was very clean and hotel is only 3 years old. The free breakfast was… a free breakfast. But everything was great! If you don’t want to stay in Jackson and get your car broken into… STAY HERE! You’ll love it!

We had a nice stay. It’s close to the interstate but also in an area of Civil War battle grounds with walking paths right next to the hotel. There is also a gas station with McDonalds attached. There is also a DQ across the street, just perfect for a family stay.

No parking. There were 2 semis taking up about 10 total spots. When I told the attendant at the front desk, she informed me they cater to trucker. That doesn’t make sense to allow 2 people to take up 10 spots forcing me and my family of 4 to have to walk from an adjacent business’s lot.

Room was perfect, beds were comfy, they welcomed our dog, and we loved the walking path through the battlefield. A totally unexpected great stay, and we’d gladly stay there again!

The staff was great, and breakfast was amazing! The room however was not fully clean: the chair had not been moved between previous tenants as when we moved it, there were several small pieces of trash under it; and the bathroom floor was not very clean (hair, dust, etc.) The room also did not have towel bars in the bathroom for some reason? Overall we love this hotel and stay a couple times a year, but let me just say if this had been our first stay it would have been a more sour experience.

This was a very neat and clean hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and breakfast was exceptional. They all went above and beyond. My room smelled fresh, not full of chemicals. It was sparkling clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and cozy. The shower worked beautifully and was refreshing.

Nice hotel right off the interstate, didn’t like it was right behind a gas station. Staff was nice, shower wasn’t the cleanest and the shower stopper was broke and wouldn’t drain water .

They seemingly messed up my reservation, so when we got back from dinner, our room keys did not work. They told us that we were trying to open the wrong room, yet all of our belongings were in the room we tried to open. Of course the room they sent us to also did not unlock with our keys. It took over an hour of us waiting in the hall with our two year old for the front desk to fix our keys and let us into the room we paid for. Which by the way, I was told I would pay $175 for, and was charged over $220. And because they mixed up our room numbers, the Wi-Fi code they gave us did not work either. Very disappointed with this stay.

The Good: Convenient location, rooms were good sized and clean. Good country restaurant nearby. Ample parking. The bad: Pet Fee of $75. This was the highest we paid on a 3 week road trip. Considering room was $125, this is a very steep price. The staff was professional, but not friendly or helpful. Being right off highway next to a gas station was a bit noisy. The verdict: I would not stay here again, largely due to the ridiculous pet fee, and would not recommend to others , especially pet owners. Disappointing for a Hampton Inn, as they are our go to hotel.

The only complaint I have is the lady who checked me in stated that I needed to use my credit card for the room but could pay cash upon check out the next morning. When I went to pay cash upon check out I was told by the lady working the morning shift that they did not take cash and I could not pay with cash. Seems to be a little miscommunication issue between staff.

Room was nice and clean but check in was awful lady at the front desk was rude and unhelpful when she was looking at a previous cancelled reservation and not the current paid reservation and was not able to troubleshoot the problem was rude unprofessional and laughed when asked to fix the issue
