Motel 9 Las Cruces

The curtains were not hanging on all hooks & had holes in them, the blankets had cigarette burn holes in them, no bedspreads, there was no remote for the TV, we were given 2 remotes & they didn't work. There was dirt under the beds. The pool was not functioning & had dirty water & trash in the little water it had in it. One pillow had a stiff plastic cover on it under the old pillowcase. The sheets were old & very thin, dingy & not tucked in. The air conditioner ran but it could not be adjusted at all.

The hotel stated that there was a pool, the pool was out of service. Only had 1 towel in the room, also there was no room temperature control.

Area around pool dirty. Pool not in service. No desk chair to sit on. Internet was terrible. Kept going off and restarting.

I liked being able to park my car right across from the room. The ac worked fine. The hot water in the shower was fine. I didn't like seeing someone 's black hair on the floor of the shower. Made me wonder if it had been cleaned at all. There was no fitted sheet on the bed only the 1 flat sheet

Pool and hot tub were out of service but other than that everything was great

Place is a good stay if your cash flow is not good and need a roof over your head with a/c ,hot water, showers, ice machine and management that will work with you. I cant complain if your a snotty kind of person and very picky and have ocd then this place is not for you.

Just very dirty

Room was dirty,smelly ,no sheets on one of the beds no toilet paper.

The floor was dirty. Dirt and other stuff on the floor. There was a handful of mosquitoes inside the room that I had to get rid of. The smell is horrible here. It’s 3am and I still can’t sleep. There was hair and lint in the shower so that wasn’t cleaned either. This place sucks!

Roaches, stains. No trash can. TV remote didn’t work. Noisy guests

Towels and sheets looked dirty

Rokm was clean. Staff was friendly. No loud noise. It was quiet and chill.

It was all dirty n pillows had blood and bed had shoe prints shower was full of dirt

Over all, everything was dirty.

The staff were very nice. The room was less than basic and old : needs to be refurnished from scratch and night tables added. The safelock for the door was broken. Altough the bathroom was clean, the floor in the room was not. We would not recommand this location at the price we paid (92$ Cdn)

Boiling hot water in the shower. No cold water. Unable to use. Can't adjust room temperature. If I didn't have a camping fan in the car I would have asked for a refund.

No working air conditioner. Turned into a sweat box.

I normally stay in my van but it was 107 degrees here so I got a room. My room wasn’t any better. The air conditioning was terrible. Sweating all night while trying to sleep.

The room had two beds, and the beds were too big for the room as there was limited space between the beds to walk. Additional, the odor of cigarette smoke permeated the room which made it had difficult to rest. Aside from this, the room was clean.

Easy check in. Room too small with no amenities.

The price was good. The manager was nice. But tge bed was very uncomfortable and no light in the restroom.

Just a place to sleep. Old bed, holey curtains, not the cleanest place for sure.

Constant stream of roaches, particularly in the bathroom. TV was on the fritz. No chair to sit on at the desk. Very noisy until after midnight. A constant chirping coming from the laundry room every 20 seconds drove me crazy. Fix whatever alarm is going off1

The light was getting into the room i couldnt rest, i was offered a bottom floor which i asked for, great shower, no brekfast, also might need some paint in and out!

Prostitutes hanging around my door . Had people selling drugs two doors down from my door all night. They tied two pitbulls outside by their door and had them barking almost all night. Then after I checked. in the girl from the front desk tried to charge my card twice. When I asked her why she was trying to charge my card she denied it. Yet I have the proof .

Check in was horrible. When customer needed to be contacted due to him not answering his phone from 7 am to 1030 am, clerk refused to help. Said no one was there by that name! Had to call police for a welfare check! All was asked of him was to ring the room or knock on the door, which by the way, was next door to the office. Check out was horrible. The clerk would not even give a receipt or acknowledge customer. Will not be going there again!!!

So when I arrived at the location, the first room was smelling a lot like cigarettes and all the bed was full of holes from cigarette burns. Then once we checked in she tried charging the card 3 times after we had already paid. And now my card is blocked. All night you could hear the prostitute knocking on doors. Then two doors down there was a room where they were selling beer and they had two pitbulls tied up outside barking all night.

Alot of traffic during the night and a little unsafe. If i rent i prefer closer to the pool or office

Some loud cars that sounded like they were racing but other than relatively quiet. I did like refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot in the room. Bed was ok but needed thicker cover. I was cold at night, even with the limited heater on. Towels were cheap. Luckily there was hot water in the shower. FYI, I was in room 28. Property was surrounded by about four other motels. Again, you pay for the price

The lady on the front desk was very helpful on accommodating my handicapped family member. The room was clean. The only downside is when a train passes by it was loud.

I thought I booked a different number. So I double checked and it’s a Nine! This Motel is situated beside other inns. So it’s safe. It has a nearby gasoline and pit stop and across is Whataburger. So you’ll never be hungry just walk some steps!

NEVER stay here if you value your belongings, vehicle, health or ability to shower or even sleep. My first ever NEGATIVE review. I’m not a princess, or a ‘Karen’.. I’m active duty Military, who has served in Iraq, lived on multiple ships, through multiple deployments and stayed in several 3rd world countries. This was the worst place I have ever *attempted* to stay. It looks decent online. It is not. The floors, towels, bed and even curtains were stained, unwashed and disgusting. The security latch was broken and inoperable. There are prostitutes, dealers and usage, being obviously displayed. It is obvious that many of the people there, have a permanent residence (lowest income housing), with ‘no trespassing’ signs, knives and needles displayed on their window sills. There was loud music playing well after a reasonable time, hookers in the doors to rooms and parking lot and a pretty good fight… in the couple hours I was there. I am traveling cross country, had left San Diego that morning, and just wanted a little sleep and a shower. Couldn’t get either. (Not hot water, disgusting bed and non-stop activity outside my door/window). I asked the person at the front desk about it (through thick plexiglass), but she informed me she does not unlock the door, or come outside the locked office after dark. No sleep, no shower. I asked for a refund and she agreed, but it was never given. STAY AWAY if you value your things, your health, your sleep.

No rainfall shower, no tub, no toaster, no sheets or towels, microwave only in front lobby not in room, pool drained and now used for storage, roaches in the fridge. A total disgrace and wouldn't force my worse enemies.

I was disappointed in this motel. It was not what I expect in a room that costs $100 ! There was no place to hang up any clothes. The microwave was very old and smelled bad when I heated up water for tea.
