Definitely not up to par with what I would expect for the price. It is the *barest* of the bare minimum. Ice "buckets" were literally just a plastic bucket with no liner or lid so it melted almost immediately. There were 2 hangers in my King Room & 1 chair... For two people. Also the only chair in my room had a brown stain in the center of the seat. Honestly, I chose this hotel over a similar priced hotel because of the 55" TV. That was the only upside. The "gym" was a complete joke. Equipment was missing pieces or not working properly. I was able to get 8 minutes in on the stationary bike before I was literally bruised; I've actually ridden horses that were more comfortable. The bed was comfortable for the first few hours, but me and my husband both woke up sore and my back and hips ached terribly. The bed was thoroughly inspected on check-in, and it was clean and well-made. I reserved an "accessible" room, but there is no way I could have maneuvered my wheelchair around the room –there were way too many tight spaces & sharp turns. The bathroom was the only part of the room a wheelchair would work in, so I'm incredibly thankful I didn't need my chair the day we stayed. The shower was clean and accessible, and worked very well for me as I can't stand for extended periods. Overall, just not really worth the price. The surrounding area is very convenient with restaurants and a grocery store very close by.

This was a beautiful hotel my 6 year old grandson even thought so The downsides for me was no closet or dresser for your clothes i could fdo without closet but a sm dresser with drawers would have been nice. I wanted to workout but my grandson was not allowed to enter the gym area 😔 because he was under the age of 16..i was judged not to be responsible to keep him off the equipment. And it's not equipped with a pool. But i would stay there again I bragged about how nice it was

The breakfast was fine. I'm so happy that there's always fresh coffee and tea available.

Very clean and quiet. Very nice breakfast option. small fitness room, water and ice station, 24/7 coffee in lobby. All in all a very nice option when visiting Pewaukee or Waukesha. Recommended.

During my recent stay at the Avid hotel, I was very impressed with several aspects. The bed was splendid, and the pillows provided exceptional comfort, allowing me to sleep deeply every night. The staff was very attentive and helpful, always willing to assist with a smile. The facilities were clean and adequate, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The gym was functional and available 24 hours a day, which was very convenient for maintaining my exercise routine. The breakfast buffet was adequate, offering a variety of options to suit all tastes. I especially want to highlight Ezzat, who was always attentive and made sure everything was present, clean, and adequate. I had never met someone so attentive and pleasant, which made my experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel provided a safe and quiet environment, which contributed to a restful stay. The parking was easy and convenient, with plenty of spaces available close to the entrance, making it hassle-free to come and go as needed.

Great place to stay, this is my third time in 14 months, and I'd use this place again and again. Staff are so great and friendly, the past 2 times I've had to bring my dog and they are very kind towards him. They accept dogs below 50# with a fee. My dog loves walking the property, there's a great area in the back for him to check out. Grab and go breakfast that's quickly restocked. Beds are comfy, showers are hot. Rooms are quiet. Fridge in room is ok size (no freezer so plan accordingly). Ice machine and microwave on main floor along with coffee/tea/hot cocoa.

Hotel was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Only negative was the breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

This was my first stay at an Avid and I was really impressed throughout my stay. I especially liked the smart TV so that I could stream from my phone. I also liked that it was set back away from the highway on a side road which made it very quiet. I will be back.

The rooms are a bit on the small side but very nice! Lots of high end touches!!!

Hotel and room were clean and relatively new, which was good. But there were a few issues which detracted from the overall experience. These included the person in the room upstairs making a lot of noise at 5 AM, a depression in the mattress which made sleeping uncomfortable, the room light was very cold in appearance (try a warmer color bulb), the sensor in the restroom turned on the very bright light when I used the room in the middle of the night, and the USB plugs in the night stands on either side of the bed didn't work. (We were in room 205, FYI.) Finally, we were there for a wedding. My niece had prepared welcome bags for us (along with two other parties staying at the hotel) and dropped them off before we arrived with instructions to give them to us when we checked in. None of the three parties staying at the hotel received their welcome bags.

Very clean and bed was very comfortable. Simple room and a bit small but we weren't there long. Was perfect for what i was needed and a great price.

The bed and room were so comfortable. I love the blackout curtains too. My problem was with the bathroom lights. They are motion activated. If you want to use motion for your lighting, then add dimmers to your lights. Those lights are SO bright when you have to pee at 3am. "Now I'm awake!" I will say Michelle at the front desk was very courteous and gave help (in the morning) on how to possibly counter the bright lights. Not sure I'll pick this hotel in the future.

This hotel is a hidden gem! Great price, very clean, seemed like a new building with everything new inside. The room was small otherwise, which it was not an issue for me. All staff very friendly and helpful.

Check in for spring break get away with son. Brandon and the rest of the staff was helpful and professional in getting us set up with our room as we stopped by before check in. Upon return from nearby family entertainment, was all set up with a nice room. Coffee station and room were all first class and much appreciated.

Loved everything including my room, stay everything, even checking in the woman working was incredibly nice. However, when I went to get a coffee there was a worker that made me feel uncomfortable and hit on me. I got out of there as fast as I could it creeped me out. He told me he did the breakfast buffets or something and was like, “hopefully I’ll see you at breakfast tomorrow,” yuck

Property was very clean, the staff was friendly and was very prompt in attending to requests. Their breakfast is perfect for those on the go with a decent variety of options for a small hotel. Great accommodation for a quick visit or business trip.

Excellent hotel! Comfy beds, yummy breakfast: the hot egg items were perfect, the hotel itself was super clean. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and will be looking for more avid hotels to stay at when we travel.
