We stayed at the Grand Islander for 1 week in a 1 bedroom, it was enough space for our family of 4. The kitchen saved us some money on meals, the coffee they provided was good. Pools were great! They provided towels to use at beach and pool. Beach is walkable with fireworks on Friday's. Checking in was tricky, they have a separate check in lobby than the other Hilton properties on site my husband endedup just hanging with the car in the little side road next to the building and I walked to find check in . The parking garage across from them is cheaper and also easier to access... we paid for the month pass and it was $235.. would have cost $505 through the hotel.

I loved the hotel, I was just wish the pools stayed open later! We didn't get to swim in the pools due to doing other things on the island, the pools close way to early, the pools were the reason I booked the stay and we didn't even get to experience them.

We have stayed on your property twice within the last 1 1/2 years. Our first stay was during October, 2021. Crowds were down due to COVID restrictions on travel. Moving thru the property was easy, swift and convenient. On our last stay, many more quests on property. Wait times at the elevators could be brutal. It appeared that not all the elevators were operating many times, increasing long wait times.

Beautification? Great room with everything we needed. However, Hot tubs not available after 6pm. Couldn’t get tv to work until last night of stay . Received phone call after 11 pm notifying us of a message from 2 days before.

Everything about our stay was fantastic. The one issue was the cost of valet parking as we stayed 12 days, which equaled almost $1k in parking alone. Found out during our stay that there's a public parking garage across the street where you can purchase a monthly pass for about $200 and don't have to wait for anyone to bring your car around. Other than that, it was a perfect vacation location with plenty of room for our family of 5 and lots of options for food and entertainment. The staff are outstanding and all very kind and accomodating. Trip of a lifetime!

This property is the best at the Hilton Hawaiian village because it’s the newest and there’s a private pool on the 3rd floor that is barely used. It is a big difference when you check out the other pools on the property. The room and everything in this timeshare condo type apartment was top of the line and newer. It made the stay comfortable and luxurious.

Parking price is supper high ($65/day) plus walk to far to the hotel parking. Pool temperature is too cold for everyone Towel desk said you need to heat up your body. oh my god ! stay away at no cost

The property did not notify us that there was a huge worker’s strike going on at the time of our visit. No housekeeping services, no valet, no frontdesk until 12 noon, no one answering our phone calls. It was a nightmare.

It was really bad , my daughter found a bedbug on her bed and she also noticed bites in her legs also my husband had some bug bites too , I call the desk and the manager supposed come but he never did and I end up walking my self with a dead bug on my hand ; it seems like he didn’t care . I filled a report and still waiting on the results.

We had a great time during our stay at this resort. The resort is stunning, complete with laundry and a fully equipped kitchen, and the room is impeccably clean with a cozy bed. It would be helpful to know the Hilton Hawaiian Village is truly a village with the 5 or 6 hotels on outside and restaurants/ cafe/bar/pools are contained between them. If you crave variety in food choices, yu might head to Waikiki. That was a drawback fo us. Our Grand Islander suite was clean, comfortable and had a well-equipped kitchen. Mountain views were spectacular and we had 2 balconies to choose from so breeze wasn't a problem.

Room was beautiful and very comfortable. Parking fee was ridiculous and not listed when I made the reservation so it was a surprise to pay $62/night in addition to the resort fee. And the one parking garage for all the Hilton towers was not connected to our particular tower so for the high fee we still had to walk through the village to get to and from. Elevators were frustrating as the digital touch screen did not always work so we had to re-enter our floor number multiple times before it worked almost every time we used it. TV’s in room used a mouse system on the remote for apps and was very difficult to use at times. Other than the elevator, tvs and parking fee, our stay was great. Good pools and everything you need was available in the village. Lots of shops, restaurants, and live entertainment at night, and lots of pools to choose from. Would stay here again.

our family vacation in Honolulu was great the hotel service was awesome; however the sofa-sleeper was not comfortable at all. I had to ask for a comforter to put on top and even with that it was not enough cushioned then the fourth night i had to ask for extra layer which the hotel gave us a topper to add on as i can feel the spring on my back. I could not find any double bed suits available and that was why i booked King suits with a sofas bed.

Our stay in 2 bed 2 bath suite was excellent. Room came with washer dryer, full kitchen, and 2 patios. From the 25th floor, we did not have a view of diamond head, but partial view of mountains and view of beach. Was perfect for the Fri firework show. Pools were busy and food options help make the resort not feel as busy.

Staff was on strike so the money i spent for the amenities did not match. Rooms weren't ready for a lot of guests because they were so short staffed and simple things like towels weren't readily available and had to get it yourself. I don't care about that but when you spend that type of money you would hope its included. Other than that, Hawaii was beautiful! But if i knew about that strike i would have booked else where.

This was such a lovely place to stay. Every staff member we interacted with was helpful and friendly. Our room was well taken care of the entire time we were there. The valet staff were amazing as well. The property is lovely with tons of accommodations, but the staff are what really stand out.

We are shocked and appalled by how poor the service was at the Hilton after paying over $1,000 per night. The number of staff and amenities were not enough for the amount of guests staying at the hotel. We felt bad for the staff who were running off their feet. There seems to be serious management issues or management is too cheap to staff the hotel appropriately. Both check-in and check-out had long chaotic lines, with only 3 of 6 check-in desks open. The pool/beach towel kiosks were only staffed until around 6pm, despite the pools being open to 10pm (so you couldn’t get towels in the evening). We booked a large multi-bedroom multi-bathroom suite for 6 guests but only had enough towels, linens, and pillows for 4 guests, despite 6 guests on the reservation. I could go on about how poorly run the hotel was, but I am running getting close to the character limit for the my review. Not what we expected for the price.

Mostly, we were annoyed by the time share staff that were very inappropriate. They overinflated the tour prices to convince us to take advantage of a discount if we have a demonstration for the”time share” presentation. Otherwise, the location of the hotel was good but it is a bit noisy.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Grand Islander - Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort. Property and facilities are immaculately kept. Cleanliness was thorough throughout the resort. Don't worry if you forget anything. There is plenty of shopping at the ground floors with just about everything you could be. Staff are simply lovely - helpful and professional with everyone we encountered. The beach next to the resort is well kept with lots of room for everyone. A variety of vendors to shop from most days. There is plenty to do and see within walking distance of the resort. 4.5 stars and highly recommend! The only thing missing for our visit was afternoon activities/fun for teens. It would be great to have a game room and teen-aged activities on site.

We arrived the day the property went on strike. It was HORRIBLE. Half the amenities were open, and the half that was open wasn't serving everything. None of the pool bars/dining were open. We woke up everyday to strikers protesting by 7 am. They woke us up by bullhorn and didn't stop till after 9 pm. We didn't get offered anything for dealing with it. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Grand islander tower had beautiful rooms and cleaning staff were amazing. Difficult to get directions around resort from staff. No close restaurant/food options when rain was torrential. Other towers had easier access to places without getting soaked.

Exceptional property. Everything you would ever need was available at your finger tips. Staff was so welcoming and accommodating. Great food choicrs and shops. Room was exceptional! Loved our stay! View from the balcony was awesome
