Initially, we had a pretty rough start to our stay. The lock box would not work and I had to dig my computer out to look up some way that we could contact someone to get us in. Once we found the contact information, someone was sent over quickly with a key. But then, the propane fireplace was not working. It is the only heat in the house, except for a small wall heater in the bathroom. We had to use an electric space heater, which worked OK as the house is small, but not the pleasant amenity that the fireplace would have been. Once all of that was straightened out, the house was perfect for my husband and I. It's easy walking distance to the beach. The house is nicely appointed and the kitchen is well stocked for any cooking needs, including sharp knives, which I find lacking in most vacation rentals. The neighborhood is quiet and people were quite friendly, so it was a pleasant experience. At the end, we left a few belongings behind and the owner promptly returned them to us thankfully! Overall I recommend this for a nice vacation stay, just make sure that you have contact information available in case you can't get in!

This cottage is even more impressive in person. We loved our stay there. Just the two of us occupied the property with some day guests. Plenty of seating options for dining. Great ocean views, parking for two cars, hop, skip and jump to beach and general store/cafe. It’s a gorgeous little place all the way around!

What a beautiful area and bungalow! The views were great, the area is quiet, & it's an easy walk to the beach. Just perfect for the two of us & our small dog. There are three outdoor seating areas...one up (right at the front door and was our favorite) & two down. Grill/dining seating off the back porch/kitchen area with a small fenced yard. In front seating includes a fire pit...bring fire logs!. The kitchen has all the things including sharps & wine glasses. The host even includes some small niceties in the bathrooms like tooth flossers and Q-tips! The bed is soft and for us was comfortable. There is a half-bath off the room. We loved it and will be back!

Loved the cottage. The owner thought of stocking it with everything you could possibly need that you would not be bringing yourself. The cottage has remnants of the original cottage still built into it, which was very cool. It is small but the interior was done with such good thought that it works perfectly with comfort and tastefulness If you are bringing your dogs, there is even a dog door which leads to a fenced in yard, which we were thrilled to see. I loved the 1/2 bath connected to the bedroom and a full bath with a nice shower nearby. My husband had his bathroom and I had mine. All the windows open to let in the fresh sea air. It was so close to the ocean and a nice ocean view from the living room. Parking off the street. The gas wood burning stove heated the cottage nicely when needed. Very comfortable stay .

The location is great, very clean, very well-appointed. Has all the cooking basics. We used the fire pit one night and the grill the next night. Bring your own firewood (or buy it at the local general store)! Would totally come back.

We had a great time at Dillon Beach! It was a very short distance from the beach. My wife and I took our two dogs and took 2 mile walks on the beach. My dogs loved the beach! Bring all your food with you but if you forget something there is a small market and a restaurant open on certain times. The BBQ was gas hooked to propane to the house. It worked well.

This cabin is really amazing. A nice mix of comfortable and modern with some history thrown in. (Really beautiful light fixtures!) Great views, nestled in the village but super close to the beach. We had pretty nasty weather but we were delighted that meant we could cozy up in the house! The listing photos are a great representation but there actually is more space than shown as there's a big kitchen table nestled in the back corner that isn't in any photos. A nice surprise and perfect for dinner for four or a sprawling game of cards! Lots of seating areas outside which we sadly didn't get to use because of the rain but that just means we'll have to return in better weather! Judy was very responsive to all messages. We can't wait to come back again!

My husband, two small dogs, and I stayed at this lovely cottage. Before arriving I was a little worried that it was too small, but it was perfect. Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, with high quality appliances and cookware. It is actually even better than the pictures, with panoramic views of the ocean. The living room is bright and sunny, and the deck lovely for lounging. The side yard was a perfect and safe spot for our dogs. I have rented several places at Dillon Beach. This is my favorite. I felt like I was staying at some very nice person’s lovely home. We will be back!

The cottage is very tastefully restored and well appointed with most anything you would need for staying in, relaxing or cooking (though there are some not to be missed restaurants just a short drive away). It’s perched up on a hill so you can watch the waves break and the fog roll in from the comfortable main living space and outside decks. Just a short walk away, Dillon Beach is our new favorite with almost 2 miles for strolling and calm waves for the pups to enjoy. Looking forward to another visit!

What a wonderful house and stay! Perfectly sized for our family and dog to enjoy a beach getaway. Checkin was super easy and the house had everything we needed for our stay! Beds were very comfy and towels nice and thick. Nice hot water and great shower. Plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the deck overlooking the ocean and it was nice and warm up there. The beach and general store were a quick 3 minute walk down the hill and our kids and dog loved every part of our stay! We will be back.

My family had a great time at the historic beach cottage. I gave it top notch scores on all categories. Even though it wasn't huge, there was plenty of room for the 3 humans and one 4 legged friend who stayed. The host communicated effectively and allowed us to check in a little early. Everything was updated and clean. I'd love to come back some day.

This was an excellent stay for myself, husband and two miniature dachshunds. Very clean, comfortable and safe fully fenced in yard. Excellent communication with the host. Before leaving, we talked about coming back in the new year.

We loved our stay at this cozy, comfortable cottage! From the gorgeous views from all the main living areas, to the well-stocked kitchen, the proximity to the beach, and the comfy bed, our little family thoroughly enjoyed our getaway (and our dog was thrilled she got to come along). We only wish we’d had more time, but anticipate we’ll be back!

The property is newly renovated and beautiful! The finishes, fixtures and furnishings are top notch and strike a nice balance between the era of the original house and tasteful modern. Well done! My best friend and I had the most amazing stay at this property! Perfect size for 2-3 people, a bohemian chic design aesthetic to the space, gorgeous views of the ocean, walking distance from the beach. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

The main porch is a place you can stay for hours, sipping wine and watching and listening to the ocean. The bed is vey comfortable and kitchen has quality utensils and a full array of bowls, platters, etc. mostly, the charm and setting made for an outstanding weekend!

Second time staying in this cottage, it's really wonderful. This time we got both amazing sunny warm weather (perfect front porch sitting!) and cold dreary weather (perfect window seat sitting!) Can't wait to come again!

My family had a great time at the historic beach cottage. I gave it top notch scores on all categories. Even though it wasn't huge, there was plenty of room for the 3 humans and one 4 legged friend who stayed. The host communicated effectively and allowed us to check in a little early. Everything was updated and clean. I'd love to come back some day.

Everything about our four night stay was lovely, especially working with Judy and Mark. The house was an early 1900's fishing shack that has been remodeled to modern standards and then some! The furniture, the cabinets, the acknowledgment of the history of the home, the walls, the linens and the location were all great! I'm happy to recommend this cozy home and hope that I can stay there again soon!

This was an excellent stay for myself, husband and two miniature dachshunds. Very clean, comfortable and safe fully fenced in yard. Excellent communication with the host. Before leaving, we talked about coming back in the new year.

This cabin is really amazing. A nice mix of comfortable and modern with some history thrown in. (Really beautiful light fixtures!) Great views, nestled in the village but super close to the beach. We had pretty nasty weather but we were delighted that meant we could cozy up in the house! The listing photos are a great representation but there actually is more space than shown as there's a big kitchen table nestled in the back corner that isn't in any photos. A nice surprise and perfect for dinner for four or a sprawling game of cards! Lots of seating areas outside which we sadly didn't get to use because of the rain but that just means we'll have to return in better weather! Judy was very responsive to all messages. We can't wait to come back again!

We have stayed at many VRBO places over the years and this is at the top of the list. Everything was better than expected and Judy was terrific. This is our spot to stay in Dillon Beach!!!

We loved our stay at this cozy, comfortable cottage! From the gorgeous views from all the main living areas, to the well-stocked kitchen, the proximity to the beach, and the comfy bed, our little family thoroughly enjoyed our getaway (and our dog was thrilled she got to come along). We only wish we’d had more time, but anticipate we’ll be back!

This cottage is even more impressive in person. We loved our stay there. Just the two of us occupied the property with some day guests. Plenty of seating options for dining. Great ocean views, parking for two cars, hop, skip and jump to beach and general store/cafe. It’s a gorgeous little place all the way around!

It was a perfect place for my little family. My husband and I with our two dogs had some relaxing time at this lovely cottage. Very clean and quiet, and 3 minutes walk to Dillon beach. Love everything about this place. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place.

The cottage is very tastefully restored and well appointed with most anything you would need for staying in, relaxing or cooking (though there are some not to be missed restaurants just a short drive away). It’s perched up on a hill so you can watch the waves break and the fog roll in from the comfortable main living space and outside decks. Just a short walk away, Dillon Beach is our new favorite with almost 2 miles for strolling and calm waves for the pups to enjoy. Looking forward to another visit!

What a wonderful house and stay! Perfectly sized for our family and dog to enjoy a beach getaway. Checkin was super easy and the house had everything we needed for our stay! Beds were very comfy and towels nice and thick. Nice hot water and great shower. Plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the deck overlooking the ocean and it was nice and warm up there. The beach and general store were a quick 3 minute walk down the hill and our kids and dog loved every part of our stay! We will be back.

Initially, we had a pretty rough start to our stay. The lock box would not work and I had to dig my computer out to look up some way that we could contact someone to get us in. Once we found the contact information, someone was sent over quickly with a key. But then, the propane fireplace was not working. It is the only heat in the house, except for a small wall heater in the bathroom. We had to use an electric space heater, which worked OK as the house is small, but not the pleasant amenity that the fireplace would have been. Once all of that was straightened out, the house was perfect for my husband and I. It's easy walking distance to the beach. The house is nicely appointed and the kitchen is well stocked for any cooking needs, including sharp knives, which I find lacking in most vacation rentals. The neighborhood is quiet and people were quite friendly, so it was a pleasant experience. At the end, we left a few belongings behind and the owner promptly returned them to us thankfully! Overall I recommend this for a nice vacation stay, just make sure that you have contact information available in case you can't get in!

Where to begin? With the amazing kitchen stocked for those of us who celebrate around food? (Seriously, the Cutco sandwich spreader had me at hello). Every exquisite, thoughtful detail obvious in the updating of the space? The incredible views? The close proximity of the dog friendly beach? We’ll never forget this trip and will be forever grateful to the wonderful host!

The location is great, very clean, very well-appointed. Has all the cooking basics. We used the fire pit one night and the grill the next night. Bring your own firewood (or buy it at the local general store)! Would totally come back.

We had a great time at Dillon Beach! It was a very short distance from the beach. My wife and I took our two dogs and took 2 mile walks on the beach. My dogs loved the beach! Bring all your food with you but if you forget something there is a small market and a restaurant open on certain times. The BBQ was gas hooked to propane to the house. It worked well.

The house is impeccably designed (right out of my wife’s playbook) and you can’t beat the location and views. The main porch is a place you can stay for hours, sipping wine and watching and listening to the ocean. The bed is vey comfortable and kitchen has quality utensils and a full array of bowls, platters, etc. mostly, the charm and setting made for an outstanding weekend!

My husband, two small dogs, and I stayed at this lovely cottage. Before arriving I was a little worried that it was too small, but it was perfect. Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, with high quality appliances and cookware. It is actually even better than the pictures, with panoramic views of the ocean. The living room is bright and sunny, and the deck lovely for lounging. The side yard was a perfect and safe spot for our dogs. I have rented several places at Dillon Beach. This is my favorite. I felt like I was staying at some very nice person’s lovely home. We will be back!

We had such a great time there with our dog Daisy🐶 The cottage has everything that you need and is so close to the beach. We sat outside in the morning on the patio and drank our coffee. In the evening we BBQ’d and watched the beautiful sunset. We will be back❤️

Another great stay at Judy's charming cottage! It's so relaxing to be here, so many great spaces to sit and read/knit/play games/nap. Great kitchen for cooking. Great patio for sunning. And literally a 3 minute walk to the beach, cannot ask for more.
