We were nothing but impressed with our entire stay! This house & property were absolutely amazing! It accommodated our large family & had everything we could have possibly needed. We cooked many meals in the kitchen and had everything required for that. We spent a lot of time in the living room looking through the telescope & taking in all natures beauty through those big beautiful windows. Unfortunately due to rain we didn’t get to utilize the hot tub or fire pit as we planned. I highly recommend this property for a large family & we hope to enjoy it again someday as well!

The house and grounds were wonderful, far exceeding our expectations. The weather was sub-optimal, but the beauty and comfort of the house more than made up for the rain.

Absolutely loved our stay there. The telescope got tons of use as we watched two bald eagles hanging out in the nearby rocks for over an hour. The island was so fun to explore.

My family all stayed at this beautiful home over Memorial Day weekend while we were in town for a baby shower. It seems like kind of a strange location as the drive-in goes through a boat shop/dock, but once you go through the gate you are in your own secluded garden paradise! Beautiful flowers and plants and an amazing view of the river/ocean. On a clear day you can see the Cape disappointment lighthouse, as well as plenty of birdlife. Tons of space inside and the fully fenced yard made it perfect for our dogs who love to wander and sniff. Definitely would stay here again, we had the best time!

The house is very charming. Outside spaces have multiple areas to congregate. We had a great time.

My wife, I, our four kids and two of their spouses all came together for a mid-spring getaway. The house was very clean and nice and accessories for the kitchen and instructions for the house were very complete. The spotting telescope in the living room was a pleasure for tracking all the waterfowl, eagles, herons, and shipping traffic. All in all, a very nice experience. Weather was typical spring - alternating sun and light rain - but it didn't get in the way of exploring the area.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: GREAT!

The house and the property are beautiful, it was clean on the inside and flora and fauna were magical. The only drawback was the spider webs all over the stair entrance and all over the front porch. The one on one with the manager was great.

Everyone enjoyed the house. Compared to others we have stayed in most of the items were in working order and things like a well decorated Christmas Tree.

The property is huge and fully fenced, which is great! Lots of privacy and right on the bay. Not much walking but pretty views. The indoor and outdoor spaces are comfortable and good for groups. Gets a bit warm - especially upstairs. More fans would be helpful - the rooms that had ceiling fans stayed much cooler. One thing to note - if you're like us and the yard and being fenced and private is important for our dogs - know that service people and landscapers will come in and out of the property whenever they want and you will likely not be notified. This was an issue for us as it created major inconveniences on our last day and for checking out. It was difficult to get the property managers to understand and accommodate but they eventually did agree to not charge us to check out an hour later (after the landscaping crew of 10+ made it impossible for us to leave the house for almost 2 hours). Overall the house and yard are great - the views are wonderful. The location is interesting - - you'll either be at the house/yard or driving - nothing much within walking distance. The property managers are on top of check-in and check-out and are mostly responsive but were not as easy to connect with when something was needed.

This is an excellent property. Built in 1906 with high ceilings and dark wood trim throughout, it has been updated with all the modern conveniences. View was spectacular. We saw many different birds, including a bald Eagle, pelicans, geese, egrets and cormorants. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook at home.House was very private and centrally located between Astoria and Longbeach. Ours was a family vacation with grandparents, adult children and grandchildren.

Spent a wonderful weekend at the beach with a group of girlfriends. The house was perfect, just like in the pictures. Plenty of space, well appointed with historic charm. We only wish that we could have found information on the history of the house. Highly recommend this property!

Even Better than the pictures. Close to Longbeach. Great amenities, spacious, quiet, beautiful yard. Fun to sit on back porch and watch birds, sunset and ships.
