I recently had the pleasure of staying at this condo at The Island in Lago Vista, and I can't say enough positive things about my experience. From the moment I booked the unit, the owner was incredibly accommodating and flexible, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The condo itself was beautiful—well-maintained, tastefully decorated, and stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that the owner put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming space. Everything in the unit worked perfectly, from the appliances to the Wi-Fi, making it easy to feel right at home. One of the best parts of the experience was the ease of access and parking. Checking in and out was a breeze, and there was always ample parking available, which made coming and going hassle-free. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the room was very comfortable. Hot tub was good in the inside pool area but the indoor pool was not clean. Too cold to swim outside. Loved the deer and nature environment!

Lovely property. The deer were so tame and walked right up to us, we brought a bag of carrots and hand-fed them which was a phenomenal experience. We enjoyed our stay at the pool and the restaurant on site was beyond delicious. The owner of the restaurant was incredibly friendly and I hope to come back here soon.

Very peaceful area with roaming deer, quiet evenings and not crowded at all. The condo was very clean, comfortably furnished with everything you need. This unit is very close to the main pool. Very responsive manager as well.

This is a beautiful little island that the villa is on. Watch out for deer on your drive in, because they were everywhere. The Villa itself was spacious and very clean. The furniture was comfortable. And although we didn’t use it very much, the kitchen was large, clean, and well furnished. My wife and I would definitely come back to this place.

The place overall was very nice and clean, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. My only concerns are that the bed really needs to be replaced—it sank in immediately and offered little to no support. The regular coffee maker was missing the pot, and while there was a Keurig available, it hadn’t been descaled, (machine says it needs to be descaled) which made the coffee taste unpleasant.

My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We are in Austin and wanted to get away for a few days without spending a lot of time travelling. This was about a 45 minute drive from home, but it felt like being somewhere else entirely. The condo had plenty of space for the two of us. It was clean and stocked with all the kitchen essentials for cooking. There was even some coffee for the Keurig. Do to the sustained drought there was no view of the water from the balcony. We did have a minor issue with a toilet tank water leak in the half bath the second day we were there. I cut off the water feed and contacted the host fia the VRBO app. It wasn't a problem because we still had full use of the master bath. Would definitely consider staying here again.

The property was exceptional. We were disappointed that the coffee pot was broken, the linens were not high quality like you would expect with such nice property, ran out of paper towels with no extras, early morning noises like leaf blowers and dumpster people, barking dog and other amenities like shower caddy and bath rug were Dollar Tree quality.

The community was beautiful and condo was perfect! It smelled nice, very clean and the kitchen was stocked with all the supplies you need (you bring your own food of course)! The patio was extra large with seating. We loved it and will definitely come back!

There’s a photo that states “view from the balcony” that shows water in the lake. The lake is in fact dry from view from the property and was told by one of the maintenance workers that side of the lake has been dry since 2020. Although that’s beyond the control of the host, maybe you should update that particular photo. The kitchen was well equipped and although I would have washed the dishes prior to using them I found several dishes dirty that NEEDED to be washed before using them. The unit could definitely use some updating. The area was quiet which was the best part since I was there for a quiet, relaxing vacation away from the city. The host should consider updating the furniture, dishes, carpet and all that’s left for the guest to use. Also, I washed a load of towels because they were limited but the dryer took forever to dry all the towels. Definitely do not recommend.

The community was beautiful and condo was perfect! It smelled nice, very clean and the kitchen was stocked with all the supplies you need (you bring your own food of course)! The patio was extra large with seating. We loved it and will definitely come back!

This condo is in a good spot; It has a wrap around balcony; & quiet location. Host is very nice. Enjoyed my stay. Nicely decorated. Beautiful views from windows.

Photos show a water view from the balcony but based on how tall the grass is I would bet it has been months if not years since there was water in that channel. Had to leave a night early because there was an 8” centipede crawling around inside the condo and the owners wouldn’t do anything about it except accuse me multiple times of leaving the door open (which I definitely did not).

The place a location was great. The a/c did stop working last night and we found a portable one in the owners closet (it was at 2am didn’t want to bother you figured you had to have a fan at least) and the dryer also didn’t work at all I restarted it four times and it never dried clothes I noticed the lint trap had water dripping from it could be clogged idk. But everything else was amazing WE NEED RAIN

Very peaceful area with roaming deer, quiet evenings and not crowded at all. The condo was very clean, comfortably furnished with everything you need. This unit is very close to the main pool. Very responsive manager as well.

Photos show a water view from the balcony but based on how tall the grass is I would bet it has been months if not years since there was water in that channel. Had to leave a night early because there was an 8” centipede crawling around inside the condo and the owners wouldn’t do anything about it except accuse me multiple times of leaving the door open (which I definitely did not).

This is a beautiful little island that the villa is on. Watch out for deer on your drive in, because they were everywhere. The Villa itself was spacious and very clean. The furniture was comfortable. And although we didn’t use it very much, the kitchen was large, clean, and well furnished. My wife and I would definitely come back to this place.

My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We are in Austin and wanted to get away for a few days without spending a lot of time travelling. This was about a 45 minute drive from home, but it felt like being somewhere else entirely. The condo had plenty of space for the two of us. It was clean and stocked with all the kitchen essentials for cooking. There was even some coffee for the Keurig. Do to the sustained drought there was no view of the water from the balcony. We did have a minor issue with a toilet tank water leak in the half bath the second day we were there. I cut off the water feed and contacted the host fia the VRBO app. It wasn't a problem because we still had full use of the master bath. Would definitely consider staying here again.

We enjoyed staying here at the property. It was peaceful and quiet. Just the type of getaway we wanted. I wish we had water on the side we were on but the area with a water view was a short walk away.

There’s a photo that states “view from the balcony” that shows water in the lake. The lake is in fact dry from view from the property and was told by one of the maintenance workers that side of the lake has been dry since 2020. Although that’s beyond the control of the host, maybe you should update that particular photo. The kitchen was well equipped and although I would have washed the dishes prior to using them I found several dishes dirty that NEEDED to be washed before using them. The unit could definitely use some updating. The area was quiet which was the best part since I was there for a quiet, relaxing vacation away from the city. The host should consider updating the furniture, dishes, carpet and all that’s left for the guest to use. Also, I washed a load of towels because they were limited but the dryer took forever to dry all the towels. Definitely do not recommend.

The place overall was very nice and clean, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. My only concerns are that the bed really needs to be replaced—it sank in immediately and offered little to no support. The regular coffee maker was missing the pot, and while there was a Keurig available, it hadn’t been descaled, (machine says it needs to be descaled) which made the coffee taste unpleasant.

The property was exceptional. We were disappointed that the coffee pot was broken, the linens were not high quality like you would expect with such nice property, ran out of paper towels with no extras, early morning noises like leaf blowers and dumpster people, barking dog and other amenities like shower caddy and bath rug were Dollar Tree quality.

The property was absolutely beautiful. The scenery was outstanding. The only thing that was an issue was the number one elevator was not working. That caused us to have to travel the parking garage to the number two elevator that serves building number two. Our designated parking spot was under building number 1. I have mobility issues and use a walker, that made it certain I would get my steps in each day. Other people would not have that issue. We were in Lago Vista for a family Wedding so we didn't spend a lot of time in the condo, we just slept there and prepared for the events for the Wedding. I would absolutely recommend the listing for anyone who enjoys lake life.

The condo was lovely and we enjoyed the lake view, as well as the pool and hot tub. Upon arrival, I had issues with the key pad. We had to get a maintenance guy to come assist and he saw it was difficult. After that, there were no problems with it.

This home was very clean. We went for relaxation and it was perfect. The couch and outdoor chairs were very comfortable. Communication with host was top tier. We did not have any issues, but any questions I had she was quick with response. Pool and hot tub was nice and clean.
