The Burrow

End of a long drive. Only the day before the kids were enjoying Hogwarts at Universal Studios. We pulled in after dark and candles were flickering with all of the carefully curated items so carefully placed throughout and the kids were just so impressed and engaged. The game they had for us, the butter beer, and those sliding bookcase doors were all great features that helped it to be a great evening and a fun morning.

What a fantastic house, we spent hours exploring and looking at all of the little details. Kristi has an amazing talent of putting everything together in such a way that it's not just putting out some memorabilia from the movie, she's created a whole experience. Each time we looked in an area, we found something new we didn't see the first 10 times we looked there. The scavenger hunt was entertaining. We had so much fun. We had two 13 year old girls with us who really enjoyed their stay. We got each a gift bag which they loved. We only stayed one night and we brought poptarts, cereal and pastries with us. The kitchen is very small and not much in it, but anything more would have taken away from the ambiance of the place. Plan on eating out or doing simple microwave meals or sandwiches. The fridge was small but perfect for what we brought. We ordered Pie Slingers, a local pizza joint that had great food. Kristi was very helpful and responsive and it was fun hearing some of her stories about the history of things. She let us look at some of her other houses which were every bit as amazing and detailed. Can't wait till we can visit again!

This place is absolutely magical! When we arrived, Harry Potter was playing on the TV and all the lamps were on to welcome us. The amount of detail that went into this place is incredible, we kept discovering new touches throughout our stay. We were only here for one night during our Tennessee road trip, but we wished we could have stayed at least two. We all loved it and would definitely stay again!

My kids and I loved staying at this fantasy farm! The scavenger hunts were so fun, and I had a hard time convincing my kids to leave to do other activities in the area!

We loved our overnight stay at The Burrow! We did the scavenger hunt & enjoyed playing a game while watching a movie that night. It was the perfect start to our vacation to Universal's Epic Universe & Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure in Orlando!

We try to stay here annually. We all LOVE the properties by this host. She’s amazing herself & makes sure we have the best stay possible. The detail and work put into her places is amazing. We always find things we didn’t see the first time. There’s lots to do there if you don’t want to leave. Could not have asked for more!!! We loved every minute of it and will definitely come back!!!

If you’re looking for a magical secluded get away from the muggles look no further.

My husband and I stayed for one night on our honeymoon roadtrip. Not near enough time to see everything this property has to offer, in fact you could be here for days and still keep finding new trinkets and Easter eggs! To say that this place is well curated would be an understatement. Kristi has managed to create an absolutely magical immersive experience for all ages of Harry Potter fans that makes you feel right at home as one of the Weasley’s house guests. You will be shocked and delighted around each corner as you explore the Burrow. You can tell a lot of love and time has gone into making this place special.

I wanted to first say this place is beautiful. Fun for kids and Adults. I would highly recommend if the owner didn’t ruin the experience. It wasn’t worth it for us. For any kids below age of 15 probably shouldn’t consider.Again, very beautiful place but be ready to have to tip toe every instruction…..Owner communication not great. Stated we had to wait for her to come sign something and then she never came. Be sure to communicate to her via text phone and not in VRBO for arrival estimated times.

We surprised our teenage daughter (15) and son (13) with an overnight stay at this amazing property on our way to Universal Studios Orlando. We are all huge Harry Potter fans and could not have been more impressed with the level of theming and care put into this property. Kristi was welcoming, communicative and made our stay an immersive, relaxing, memorable experience. We found everything to be very comfortable and did not find anything to be lacking for our stay (the only exception being that I like to have more than one pillow per person, but I also didn't look very hard to see if more were stored elsewhere). Although the owner has several other properties nearby, we found the space to still be private and loved that restaurants and stores were only a short drive away. Having stayed in this magnificent property, we completely understand the owner's very reasonable "house rules" in order to preserve this extraordinary space for future guests to enjoy- this is definitely not a suitable place for young children. We really wish we would have been able to stay longer and we hope to return in the future to experience some of the other awesome properties here. These properties are very obviously a labor of love and no detail has been overlooked- truly a magical experience that our family highly recommends!

We booked a 1 night stay at The Burrow to celebrate our daughter’s 11th birthday and 5th grade graduation. Our family has always been huge Harry Potter fans! We have done Universal Studios and our kids had a blast, but this cute cottage was just as much fun to my kids! Even my 15 and 13 year old sons enjoyed looking through the house at all the details! We stayed one night because we live 30 minutes away, and it was a fun night to reconnect with each other at the end of a busy school year. Kristi (the host) was amazing to work with and the effort she went to to make our stay enjoyable was noticed and very appreciated! Our kids have already asked to stay in one of her other Harry Potter properties. Thank you for such a fun time!

The house had everything we needed and would be such a treat for a family looking for a remote escape. The hosts were incredibly sweet as well. We had accidentally left a bag, and they were very kind to let us go right back and get it post check-out.

The Host was incredibly detailed and patient with giving us information on the venue, the Harry Potter theme was done Brilliantly! You can really tell that a lot of love and time was put into making every nook and cranny of the venue was brimming with easter eggs and memerobilia! Loved the experience so much.

To say this place is magical is a huge understatement! The photos do not do it justice! If you can add any of the goodies the host offers, I would suggest it, it added even more to the magic. I brought our 4 children and we spent the entire day and night just looking at everything-the detail was unbelievable. There was a place in town that served amazing pizza and we ran out to bring that back for dinner. My younger children brought their costume Harry potter robes and pretended they were wizards the entire time. My older ones really enjoyed the ambiance and snuggling to watch a Harry potter movie at night. Thank you to the host for a magical night as a family!
