Our tradition is to stay somewhere in the Bretton Woods vicinity….I would definitely stay here again.Loved the house Things to note:The living room area is quite small, not a lot of seating. In good weather I am sure you would be outside most of the day. As we have a few elderly members in the family The living room next to the gas fireplace was small. There is a beautiful loft area that was very popular for the readers and knitters. The kitchen is not a cooks kitchen. Things like a Pyrex pie plate not available. My daughter made two pies while there and used a wine bottle as a rolling pin.Determined and inventive people always find a work around. We were fortunate to have 8” of fresh snowfall that week. And enjoyed xcountry skiing on the trail right outside our home. The stars were amazing and the quiet location was ideal- I am sure in the summer you could hear the river. This is definitely on my list of places to return.
