Gorgeous location on Lake Champlain with all the creature comforts of home. House was as advertised. No surprises and everything worked great. We stayed there for a long weekend of ice fishing. Caught four species of fish right out in front of cottage - Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Yellow Perch. Drove our snowmobile right out onto the ice from the cottage - so convenient. The large sunny porch was awesome for keeping all our ice fishing gear so we didn’t have to track it into the house. Overall five stars from us.

Amazing and cozy home on the lake fully equipped with everything you might need for a stay away from home. Our family enjoyed 5 great days relaxing, swimming, kayaking and playing on the large lawn next to the house. We loved our mornings having coffee on the screened in porch. The beds were so comfortable in all of the rooms. Our kids said this was their favorite vacation ever!

PROS: We enjoyed our stay at Camp Fancy Nancy. The private beach allowed us to relax while swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing in Lake Champlain. The house was easy to get to and GPS took us right there! Our family enjoyed multiple rounds of Skip-Bo that were included in the games at the house. We also enjoyed collecting sea glass as a family on the beach! CONS: While the house was clean we experienced a lot of carpenter ants in the house, daily. Also, when we first arrived to the house, the beach had 3 large dead fish. While we understand it’s a lake and things wash up, the smell of decaying fish was a small turn off and unfortunately we had to smell it the whole time we were there as the waves wash directly towards the beach house which wash up dead fish, seaweed and other things. We also would have loved to have more lawn games to play on the large yard. We ended up going into the next town and buying lacrosse to go with the football and badminton racket/birdie. Corn hole and/or ladder ball would be a great addition to have to keep kids/families entertained.
