The place and the host were both great. Awesome little spot in the woods, we loved it. We are in White Pass every year for a ski race and I definitely plan on trying to get this place again.

I can’t express how much I loved this place. It was perfect for my and my wife and daughter’s taste. I told my wife that I could spend an entire week there without even wanting to leave. It was so comfortable and relaxing. Lying in bed being able to look up at the old growth trees that provide a canopy over the cabin provides a serenity that I can’t explain. Inside and out it is the perfect property. In addition, its proximity to two entrances of Mt. Rainier just adds to the appeal of the Little Owl Cabin. I would highly recommend it for anyone who appreciates the outdoors and is looking to explore Mt. Rainier NP and the surrounding area.

Is there a more picturesque place? We had wanted to stay in an A-frame cabin for our whole lives. This one had everything you could want. Lovely lighting, overflowing rustic charm, and curated surroundings that still felt natural. The bed was memory foam upstairs and was comfy and cozy. Lots of little things to enjoy and peruse inside the cabin, and everything was placed with purpose.

This cabin is the most idyllic A-frame in the woods, sometimes it just doesn't look real. The inside has been decorated in a cool rustic mountain style, so much that it feels like an actual home. The attention to detail is great. It’s also one of the most spacious A-frames we’ve ever stayed in, using the space to maximum effect. The kitchen is a decent size, and is well stocked. The beds are comfy, and there’s room for two people to unpack their stuff in the extra bedroom downstairs. The half bathroom upstairs was also much appreciated in the night. As someone who has stayed in a lot of hotels and rentals, I’m also pleased to say there were finally enough hooks! Relaxing in the hot tub or sitting by the fire amongst the trees after a long day hiking in the beautiful surrounding wilderness and National Park, was the best way to end the day. Note there are two cabins visible from the front yard, but these were second homes so weren’t occupied during our stay. The back deck is completely private. We had a fabulous time here and can’t recommend this place enough.

Little Owl is located in a gorgeous setting convenient to Rainier sites. We loved the babbling creek behind the property and the national forest views were breathtaking - a very special place! The cedar hot tub was a nice and welcome touch for soaking after long hikes. The steep ladder to the sleeping loft was no joke but worth the effort to stay here. We would definitely stay again!
