We had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful! The huge kitchen windows overlooking the river was so lovely. The covered porch was our favorite with the built in fireplace and tables outside. Would love to return with my family during summer months.

Our home of choice on the White River is Trout Fest. We have stayed at many others when it has already been booked, but none compare. We had dear friends join us this time and the first words out of the wife's mouth were "WOW, look at that kitchen!" Then she saw the view and just about dropped. What makes Trout Fest the best in my book is the patio area, which is where we spend most of our time and the river access. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SKUNKED on this stretch of shore fishing. I walked down first day and in four casts had four fish for dinner that night. Yes, the kitchen is nice, the master bedroom and bathroom are quite spacious, the bed quality is good (a sticking point for me, many vacation rentals have bad beds) and the dining and living room are comfortable and loaded with ambiance, but it's about the great deck and unparalleled river access. We have already booked our return trip for later in the year. Trout Fest is our "other home". Please, to those of you who stay there, treat it like your own. Try oiling the cast iron skillets after using and before putting away and they will be the best pans forever. By the way, guides can pull up right in front of the house on the lawn by the river and Greg's White River Guide Service is our go-to guide.

Amazing little place right on bank of the White River! If you have a guided trip, your guide may even pick you up feom the bank behind the house. Ours did! No negatives on the property at all! The river was up and in the yard but it didnt stop the browns from eating my flies feom the bank!

I’ve stayed at TroutFest twice, and I’ll continue to stay there. It’s in a great location for me, and the home is perfect for my group of four fisherman. The deck is awesome, and when the White River is low, you can fish from the house. The owner is very responsive.

I have stayed in homes up and down the White River and TROUTFEST is simply the best. It's a comfortable, clean home that's easy to relax in and it simply has the BEST access to water right in front of the home. I NEVER get skunked in front of TROUTFEST. I love the kitchen. I love the master bathroom and I love, love, love the patio that we spend so much of our time on. Your guide can pull right up on the lawn to pick you up if you are fishing that section of the White. How easy is that? We had possibility of thunderstorms and could pull our car right into the garage and that's a nice plus. It's so worth that drive down Denton Ferry Road for this gem.

Great property. Well taken care of right on the White River with great views of the river from the deck and the outdoor bar area. We didn't get to enjoy all that the property offered given that we were only there two days for a quick flyfishing trip. Every part of the property is set up for a nice friend or family stay. Very well set up for entertaining for several evenings on the back porch or in front of the outdoor fireplace with its own bar area that has overhead heat and fans. We had one request and the owner (Rick) reached out right away and accomodated us, no questions asked. We were also fortunate to spend some time in town Cotter where they were holding their Troutfest Event. This was a great small town feel gathering where we met up wtih one of our guides and hung out for a while. Place fully met our expectations and we've stayed around...

We have made this a yearly stay. We have a back to school fishing trip and the house is always so clean and comfy. We love the trout fest house. We are very grateful for a wonderful stay with a beautiful view. Our children always loves wading in the river when it comes up and swimming at little at the edge.

We had a wonderful weekend at Troutfest! Very clean and well stocked with everything you need. It has a really awesome vibe and lots of space to spend with your group. The back deck is an incredible place to hang out and it was great to be able to walk down to the river. We had a great time fishing and catching up with family. The host was easy to communicate with and was extremely nice and professional. Would love to come back again! Thank you so much, Rick!

We have been renting in this area for over 20 years. This by far is the best place we stayed. Clean, well equipped, easy access to the river, well maintained yard, great Internet. A perfect to relax. The owner seemed very nice and thoughtful. He even contacted us to warn of a big drop in temperature that was coming. This house is within 15 mins to anything you might want for food and grocery's. This is centrally located between Bull Shoals Dam and Cotter. Wildcat shoals along with other river access points are a min away. My wife loved the house and the yard and said we are going back. Do I need to say more? We love staying here.

The check in process was very easy. The attrntion to cleanliness was exceptional. Attention to detail with amenities made for a very relaxing stay. The photos don’t do this property justice. The house is beautifully decorated, large spacious bathrooms. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the river to have my morning coffee. We were able to catch fish right out back. A beautiful slice of paradise on the white river!Would happily visit this property again.

Despite snow and extremely cold temperatures, we had a wonderful stay at TroutFest. We saw a bald eagle, a heron and lots of other waterfowl. The owner was very responsive to all questions in order to make sure our stay was perfect. Can’t wait to book here again in the spring, summer or fall to take advantage of the large covered patio overlooking the river with ceiling fans, ceiling heaters and lots of comfortable seating.

This was our second stay at this really awesome property. Rick is the most accommodating host I've ever dealt with. We had a problem on our reservation (my fault) and Rick was kind enough to offer us stay at his residence....going way beyond expected to help us with a solution. We had a problem on our reservation (my fault) and Rick was kind enough to offer us stay at his residence....going way beyond expected to help us with a solution. I’ve stayed at TroutFest twice, and I’ll continue to stay there. It’s in a great location for me, and the home is perfect for my group of four fisherman. The deck is awesome, and when the White River is low, you can fish from the house. The owner is very responsive.

We had a wonderful weekend at Troutfest! Very clean and well stocked with everything you need. It has a really awesome vibe and lots of space to spend with your group. The back deck is an incredible place to hang out and it was great to be able to walk down to the river. We had a great time fishing and catching up with family. The host was easy to communicate with and was extremely nice and professional. Would love to come back again! Thank you so much, Rick!

We have been renting in this area for over 20 years. This by far is the best place we stayed. Clean, well equipped, easy access to the river, well maintained yard, great Internet. A perfect to relax. The owner seemed very nice and thoughtful. He even contacted us to warn of a big drop in temperature that was coming. This house is within 15 mins to anything you might want for food and grocery's. This is centrally located between Bull Shoals Dam and Cotter. Wildcat shoals along with other river access points are a min away. My wife loved the house and the yard and said we are going back. Do I need to say more? We love staying here.

The check in process was very easy. The attrntion to cleanliness was exceptional. Attention to detail with amenities made for a very relaxing stay. The host responds quickly if there is a need and considerate about anything that needs taken care. We would only stay at Troutfest when returning to Cotter

Great property. Well taken care of right on the White River with great views of the river from the deck and the outdoor bar area. We didn't get to enjoy all that the property offered given that we were only there two days for a quick flyfishing trip. Every part of the property is set up for a nice friend or family stay. Very well set up for entertaining for several evenings on the back porch or in front of the outdoor fireplace with its own bar area that has overhead heat and fans. We had one request and the owner (Rick) reached out right away and accomodated us, no questions asked. We were also fortunate to spend some time in town Cotter where they were holding their Troutfest Event. This was a great small town feel gathering where we met up wtih one of our guides and hung out for a while. Place fully met our expectations and we've stayed around...

Our home of choice on the White River is Trout Fest. We have stayed at many others when it has already been booked, but none compare. We had dear friends join us this time and the first words out of the wife's mouth were "WOW, look at that kitchen!" Then she saw the view and just about dropped. What makes Trout Fest the best in my book is the patio area, which is where we spend most of our time and the river access. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SKUNKED on this stretch of shore fishing. I walked down first day and in four casts had four fish for dinner that night. Yes, the kitchen is nice, the master bedroom and bathroom are quite spacious, the bed quality is good (a sticking point for me, many vacation rentals have bad beds) and the dining and living room are comfortable and loaded with ambiance, but it's about the great deck and unparalleled river access. We have already booked our return trip for later in the year. Trout Fest is our "other home". Please, to those of you who stay there, treat it like your own. Try oiling the cast iron skillets after using and before putting away and they will be the best pans forever. By the way, guides can pull up right in front of the house on the lawn by the river and Greg's White River Guide Service is our go-to guide.

Amazing little place right on bank of the White River! If you have a guided trip, your guide may even pick you up feom the bank behind the house. Ours did! No negatives on the property at all! The river was up and in the yard but it didnt stop the browns from eating my flies feom the bank!

I have stayed in homes up and down the White River and TROUTFEST is simply the best. It's a comfortable, clean home that's easy to relax in and it simply has the BEST access to water right in front of the home. I NEVER get skunked in front of TROUTFEST. I love the kitchen. I love the master bathroom and I love, love, love the patio that we spend so much of our time on. Your guide can pull right up on the lawn to pick you up if you are fishing that section of the White. How easy is that? We had possibility of thunderstorms and could pull our car right into the garage and that's a nice plus. It's so worth that drive down Denton Ferry Road for this gem.

This property was very clean and the location was steps away from our fishing guide service! Kitchen was well stocked and coffee/happy hour from the rockers on the back porch was so relaxing! Will be back soon!!

My Son and I schedule 2 trips a year to fish the White River- this was our 7th stay at TroutFest and it was perfect as usual. We are already working on date for our fall trip and 8th stay. We think the house and location are Perfect!

Without question, Rick is the best host we've ever had, in my 10 years of renting homes. He went above and beyond in serving us, making sure the home was perfect and comfortable. My family and I are forever grateful for him and this beautiful home. The location is perfect, home is clean and welcoming, fully stocked with everything. We cannot wait to go again. We travel to the white river about every other year and have stayed at another place every time, we decided to book here and loved the entire experience. The house is amazing, the views are chef kiss and the fishing is off the chain amazing. The house was the perfect place for our family and a great retreat for us all!! Thank you!

Absolutely wonderful location. The property was absolutely spotless. Everything was perfectly clean and welcoming. Easy to get to and fine with great access to Cotter and being right on the river and close to Cranor’s Lodge, where we absolutely love to fish was fantastic. We will definitely be back again.
