This home is managed by a rental company called Vacasa, do not rent a property from them. Our stay was a disaster. From the start, the property management and Vacasa demonstrated shocking negligence. The driveway was a complete mess – unplowed and with buried markers, making it incredibly dangerous to navigate after 44 hour snow fall. Our vehicles struggled, and one even got stuck. A plow eventually came, but only did half the job the morning we checked out, essentially trapping us. The morning of the snowfall Vacasa was contacted, but could not give adequate answer as to when a plow would come. Inside, things weren't much better. The dryer didn't work, and we were left with barely any supplies. There was a dead bug infestation, which was just gross, and to top it all off, the propane tank for the BBQ was left on from previous guests, creating a serious fire hazard. It's clear that basic property maintenance and guest safety are not a priority here. This experience was completely unacceptable. We were not only severely inconvenienced but also genuinely concerned for our safety. The only person helpful was the property runner but he could only do so much. Don't waste your money on this property

This house in the woods was perfect for our ladies weekend of skiing, eating, books and a fire. Betting was good, internet was fast. The road and driveway DEFINATELY needed 4 wheel drive in the mud. We went to Sugarbush (45 min) but killington was closer, about 15 min away. The road dead ends at Green Mountain Forrest and you could hear the river.

We had a fun-filled week of skiing and relaxing in this lovely house. It was clean and fairly well stocked with what we needed. There were plenty of towels and extra bedding along with plates, utensils, pots, pans, and a coffee maker. There was a significant snowstorm while we were there and we were pleasantly surprised that the driveway was plowed in a very timely manner. A few things to consider...the house is located 2 miles down a dirt road. The road is well-maintained, but 4-wheel drive is a necessity especially as the ground thaws and it becomes very muddy. The wi-fi was unreliable at best. Our son had to go to a local hotel to do his homework online and often texts/calls did not come through or go out immediately. There is no cell service for several miles once you leave the house. It is about 25 minutes from Killington Mountain and at least that far from a large grocery store. There is a charming general store at the end of the road along with a gas station/convenience store. There are also many restaurants within 30 minutes. Overall, we had a great stay, but wish the wi-fi had been more reliable.
