Great location and apartment. Someone met us for check in. Everything was quality including nice furniture and towels. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. They have us recommendations for dinner and excursions.

Our stay at Le Swansdoors was amazing! Laurent want very friendly, cooperative, and easy to work with. He provided lots of information about the apartment and the town. The property was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The location is amazing because it was right in the middle of all of the action. That being said, it could be a little noisy in the late evening. We were quite hot without air conditioning, as June was unseasonable hot this year, but there were room fans which helped. The owner didn't want the window open because of flies and there weren't screens. It was nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it absolutely.

This is a very special place, which the host has lovingly restored and decorated to a turnkey and highly appealing level. Incredible combination of modern amenities in a special and centuries old building with charm and character. The host is terrific: friendly, responsive, and a real people-person. No negatives at all, but it’s important that people coming to Annecy understand that the heart of the old city is a bustling and alive hive of activity. It is not quiet, and a peaceful quiet sleep requires closing the windows (which are double-paned and very effective). The included parking is a great perk, but up a steep hill a few hundred yards away. Overall, if you want to stay in a truly unique location right in the middle of all the old city has to offer — this is as good as it gets.

We had a magnificent stay at Swansdoor from the beginning to the end. The location of the apartment was perfect, it was well fitted out with all you would need (including a washer and dryer) and the village was beautiful. Laurent was very responsive to all communications, he has considered all aspects for ensuring a great stay. There is an actual dedicated car parking spot within walking distance. The only thing to consider are the stairs to reach the apartment but it worth the climb for the chance to stay,

Over the years we have rented many vacation homes, and this is easily the nicest, best located apartment we've found! Right in the heart of Old Town Annecy, we could walk to everything we wanted (e.g., fresh pastries, ice cream, shops, and restaurants). And the in-unit laundry, dishwasher, and three bedrooms made a week-long stay for our group of 5 was very comfortable. The unit's parking spot also was a short uphill walk from the apartment.In addition to enjoying all that Lake Annecy has to offer, we visited Geneva (an hour away) and Lyon (2 hours away), and we had a wonderful day of spring skiing in Chamonix (an hour away, plus some with traffic). Views from the ski lifts were spectacular!Thank you, Laurent, for being so easy to reach and for providing such helpful recommendations. (And so sorry for misplacing your key ring!)Highly recommend this place!

Alojamiento amplio y super cómodo, tal cual se ve en las fotos! Muy limpio! Excelente comunicación con la anfitriona. Ubicación ideal, a pasos de todo! El apartamento es super cómodo para una familia de cuatro. La habitación con la cama doble es muy espaciosa con vistas a la calle, y el espacio donde está el sofá-cama es un poco más reducido pero igualmente cómodo (en especial porque es muy fácil armarlo-desarmarlo) y con una linda vista al canal. La puerta corrediza que separa a este último le da más privacidad que lo convierte en un dormitorio más! La ducha separada del WC es super práctico (al igual que las dos piletas). Ducha con muy buena presión y temperatura. En la cocina hay todo lo que se pueda llegar a necesitar. La calefacción para el invierno fue sumamente satisfactoria! En resumen: fue una estancia sumamente placentera, en un alojamiento inmejorable, que bien hacen valer los tres tramos de escalera que hay que subir!

Very beautiful, spacious apartment right in the center of the old city. We were met by the wonderful Laurent, he told us everything, showed us all the amenities. Excellent location, everything is within walking distance. The apartment is very clean, spacious, bright, there was plenty of space for our family of five. Very beautiful interior inside, perfect big beds, comfortable kitchen. We liked everything very much, we were delighted!!! We will definitely come back to this apartment, it is gorgeous!!! Wonderful apartment in the thick of old town. Just steps from all the hot spots for travel photography. We have travelled extensively throughout France and wanted to have the experience of “living” (for a week), in the center of old town. This place delivered. The photos and description are accurate. The apartment is a surprisingly quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle right outside the street entrance. Clean and well appointed. The owner was excellent with communication and offered lots of local info and recommendations. The apartment came with an off site parking spot (a 5min walk - uphill) which was nice and somewhat handy, but challenging at times with how tight the spot was (we had a Peugeot 3008). We loved Annecy, but would not need to spend a full week there again. 3 days would be sufficient from our perspective.

The apartment is in the heart of the old part of Annecy and if you enjoy ice cream it is directly above a great little shop with amazing flavours. Laurent, the host, was fantastic, kind and very easy to communicate with. He is also extremely knowledgeable of the area and can recommend many things. We had difficulty getting to Annecy and he was very accommodating with how many times our itinerary changed. There is lots to do in and around Annecy and the apartment could easily accommodate 6 people. The only set back is it has no ac but there are multiple fans which helped.

It's a beautiful apartment in the heart of old town. While the general hubbub of people going by in the summer can be quite loud in the evening, the windows are completely soundproof when closed! It's a perfect location to use as a home base to explore Annecy.

This flat was perfect for our short stay in Annecy. It was well located right in the center and convenient for visiting everything we wanted to see. The flat felt spacious, and we appreciated having two bathrooms. As others have mentioned, it was very hot during our stay in August, and due to the noise, we couldn’t open the windows. Fans were provided, which helped, but the heat was still a bit much—a small price to pay for staying in such a central and historic building! The host was very welcoming, met us upon arrival, and was very flexible with our arrival time. Overall, a lovely stay, and we would stay again.

All of the positive reviews about this apartment are true. It is spacious and beautiful and well appointed with windows overlooking a quiet part of old town in two directions. It is a memorable romantic setting for a couple. We recommend bringing your own Nespresso pods and using the nearby Lav'confort Express laundromat if you need to do laundry.

We absolutely loved our stay at Le Swansdoors. The location was fantastic and the apartment itself was extremely clean and comfortable. Our host, Laurent, was extremely friendly and he explained everything to do with the apartment clearly. He also advised us on where to go and where to book certain activities such as bike riding and paddle boarding. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Le Swansdoors to all our friends!

We have travelled extensively throughout France and wanted to have the experience of “living” (for a week), in the center of old town. This place delivered. The photos and description are accurate. The apartment is a surprisingly quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle right outside the street entrance. Clean and well appointed. The owner was excellent with communication and offered lots of local info and recommendations. The apartment came with an off site parking spot (a 5min walk - uphill) which was nice and somewhat handy, but challenging at times with how tight the spot was (we had a Peugeot 3008). We loved Annecy, but would not need to spend a full week there again. 3 days would be sufficient from our perspective.

What an incredible place to have our family reunion with people coming from Australia, Montpellier and Zurich. Everything from prearrival to meeting us in person was of an excellent high standard. Over the years we have rented many vacation homes, and this is easily the nicest, best located apartment we've found! Right in the heart of Old Town Annecy, we could walk to everything we wanted (e.g., fresh pastries, ice cream, shops, and restaurants). And the in-unit laundry, dishwasher, and three bedrooms made a week-long stay for our group of 5 was very comfortable. The unit's parking spot also was a short uphill walk from the apartment.In addition to enjoying all that Lake Annecy has to offer, we visited Geneva (an hour away) and Lyon (2 hours away), and we had a wonderful day of spring skiing in Chamonix (an hour away, plus some with traffic). Views from the ski lifts were spectacular!Thank you, Laurent, for being so easy to reach and for providing such helpful recommendations. (And so sorry for misplacing your key ring!)Highly recommend this place!

It's a beautiful apartment in the heart of old town. While the general hubbub of people going by in the summer can be quite loud in the evening, the windows are completely soundproof when closed! It's a perfect location to use as a home base to explore Annecy.
