Overall, this was a really nice stay. The home was comfortable and thoughtfully designed, with many amenities that felt hotel-like but more personal. The furniture was good quality, the view was lovely, and the location was excellent—within walking distance to downtown, restaurants, and a nearby park. The kitchen was especially well-equipped with just about everything you could need. The host was friendly, communicative, and very helpful. There were a few minor drawbacks. The water pressure was low, and the hot water took a long time to heat up. Despite the home comfortably sleeping eight people, there wasn’t enough hot water for multiple showers, and sinks and faucets also struggled to warm up. Checkout was quite early, which wasn’t ideal. The walls and floors were thin, so indoor and outdoor noise was noticeable. In one of the bedrooms, there was only one nightstand, which felt a bit unusual, and a ceiling light appeared to be mid-repair, with the fixture hanging and a box sitting on the dresser. We also would have appreciated a few more basic supplies, such as extra garbage bags and pantry staples.Overall, these were minor issues for a short stay. It’s a great home in a fantastic location with a welcoming host, and we would recommend it to others.
