This property took our breath away when we entered it! It was so much more beautiful than online pictures could capture. The home was immaculately cleaned. The home is older and had some tiny quirks, but we got the help we needed almost immediately because communication was super timely. Our children loved the beautiful backyard and my husband and I enjoyed the porch each morning with coffee. The neighborhood is quaint and seemed safe. I can't recommend this home enough, it was truly beautiful and every detail thought out.

We stayed here for a month while taking care of family business in a nearby town. We were 4 out of state adults, a couple and 2 siblings, and this was perfect for us. The proximity to commuter train service was ideal. It’s a bit of a hike, but one could walk to the train station. We had plenty of room to gather or separate as we wanted. We made good use of the oversized washer and dryer. Almost anything you might want is a short drive away on Randall Road. We were quite busy the first couple weeks and this provided our welcome respite to join for dinner and to regroup for the day ahead. Later, we walked into Geneva, did some sightseeing in the historic district, and followed the path along the river. Some commented about traffic making it difficult to get out of the drive at times. You can easily take routes that eliminate the need for making a left onto the street. Michael and Marika included some nice luxury touches, were responsive to our requests, and took good care of us.

I spent two nights with my girlfriends and couldn't have asked for a better place! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, including Keurig pods and creamer! The bathrooms had all the amenities you need to make traveling so easy! The beds were all comfortable, but the best part for our group was the room for us to sit and talk! The living room is large but so cozy, and after a fun day out at the spa and a late lunch, we returned to the house and spent the evening playing games and gossiping. The screened-in porch has comfortable furniture and even a grill. Thank you, Marika, for being such an amazing hostess! You have a beautiful rental location!

The condo is stunning, spacious, clean, creative and cared for lovingly by the owners, and the location is incredible for walking to downtown Geneva to shop and dine. The home was exactly as described. My husband and I traveled with my parents. All had plenty of room in various spaces to relax. Screened-in porch was highlight for us! We had a question for the owner early on and she answered quickly then saw it through to ensure our complete satisfaction. Highly recommend!

Home was very nice. Plenty of living space for a group to play games. Really wanted to use the waffle maker but didnt get to partake, thought that was a really nice touch. Everything was very clean. The lighting was a bit much. The chairs throughout the home are a bit uncomfortable and worn. The entrance to the property is a bit tricky especially in the dark, its off a main street through town so getting out of property was a challenge at times. The driveway is very dark and uneven so walking from parking spaces to door in dark was rough, a little lighting would be valuable. Over all the home was truely lovely, we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely consider staying again depending on the time of year.

Amazing property! Beautiful place to stay right down the street from downtown Geneva. Host was very responsive and home was spotless with comfortable beds and spacious layout. This house has life to it. Beautiful decor & old woodwork make you go back in time with subtle improvements which makes it homey for conversations & a comfortable stay. Screened in porch was great at night & the living room just made you feel like sitting & chatting for hours. Very Clean, rustic & very comfortable.

As good as the pictures on VRBO are of this site, they don't quite capture the charming character of this house. And it is a house (the lower floor), an absolute classic from the late 1800s. Beautifully and thoughtfully appointed in all regards. Main living areas, kitchen, bathrooms - all excellent. The bedding is top notch (love those pillows). The deck is a great place for coffee in the AM, or wine in the afternoon. The owner is super responsive and helpful. Location is super convenient to downtown Geneva and St. Charles. One of the better and most fairly priced VRBOs I've stayed at. Highly recommend.

The photos don’t really convey the size of the living room/dining room. Comfy couch and chair with a gigantic sectional nearby. While the fireplace is only decorative, having the big screen above it tuned to the fireplace channel was a nice touch. Great built-ins and woodwork throughout. Secondary bedroom was large and comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed and the teas, Keurig pucks, and even waffle mix with instructions, were great. Can’t wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the porch, but for a cozy weekend away, I highly recommend it.

You can easily take routes that eliminate the need for making a left onto the street. Michael and Marika included some nice luxury touches, were responsive to our requests, and took good care of us.

I spent two nights with my girlfriends and couldn't have asked for a better place! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, including Keurig pods and creamer! The bathrooms had all the amenities you need to make traveling so easy! The beds were all comfortable, but the best part for our group was the room for us to sit and talk! The living room is large but so cozy, and after a fun day out at the spa and a late lunch, we returned to the house and spent the evening playing games and gossiping. The screened-in porch has comfortable furniture and even a grill. Thank you, Marika, for being such an amazing hostess! You have a beautiful rental location!

The home was exactly as described. My husband and I traveled with my parents. All had plenty of room in various spaces to relax. Screened-in porch was highlight for us! As good as the pictures on VRBO are of this site, they don't quite capture the charming character of this house. And it is a house (the lower floor), an absolute classic from the late 1800s. Beautifully and thoughtfully appointed in all regards. Main living areas, kitchen, bathrooms - all excellent. The bedding is top notch (love those pillows). The deck is a great place for coffee in the AM, or wine in the afternoon. The owner is super responsive and helpful. Location is super convenient to downtown Geneva and St. Charles. Amazing property! Beautiful place to stay right down the street from downtown Geneva. Host was very responsive and home was spotless with comfortable beds and spacious layout. Huge couch and even a screened in porch for warmer weather. The small touches and everyday necessities Marika thought of went above and beyond, would definitely come back!

The photos don’t really convey the size of the living room/dining room. Comfy couch and chair with a gigantic sectional nearby. While the fireplace is only decorative, having the big screen above it tuned to the fireplace channel was a nice touch. Great built-ins and woodwork throughout. Secondary bedroom was large and comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed and the teas, Keurig pucks, and even waffle mix with instructions, were great. Can’t wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the porch, but for a cozy weekend away, I highly recommend it.

Home was very nice. Plenty of living space for a group to play games. Really wanted to use the waffle maker but didnt get to partake, thought that was a really nice touch. Everything was very clean. The lighting was a bit much. The chairs throughout the home are a bit uncomfortable and worn. The entrance to the property is a bit tricky especially in the dark, its off a main street through town so getting out of property was a challenge at times. The driveway is very dark and uneven so walking from parking spaces to door in dark was rough, a little lighting would be valuable. Over all the home was truely lovely, we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely consider staying again depending on the time of year.
