Property was well maintained and very comfortable. The setting was private. We have friends living in Fleetwood and the property was very close. The area is beautiful. Lots of deer and a creek running along the property. Nice fire pit and easy access on both levels. Great deck.

We so enjoyed the sanctuary time. The destination is ideal for quiet contemplation, and reconnecting on a personal level. Thank you for providing a welcoming environment. While there, we took full advantage of the scenic views from the patio and delighted in old fashioned fun with chess, backgammon and cards.It was perfect!

My family of 5 had a great weekend at the cabin. I have 3 kids, ages 11, 4, and 2, and they loved playing in the creek and on the hammock. On top of being immaculately clean, the cabin was well stocked with kid supplies (and everything else)! We would love to visit again!

The cabin was immaculate and well stocked with extra blankets, outdoor chair cushions, and even some coffee pods and cream/sugar. Had a very nice gas grill (which we did not use). Excellent WiFi. Great place to stay!

Our stay at this cabin was such a fantastic experience! It was exactly as described and more! The owners have literally thought of everything from snacks and smore skewers to kid toys/high chairs and doggie treats if you have one. The location geographically and with the sounds of the creek are wonderful. It was super clean, comfy and cozy. Check in and out was a breeze. We will be back for sure!

The property was so serene. The house was so accommodating. The kitchen was stocked with all we needed. The indoor fireplace was lovely and the host even put up a Christmas tree with a beautiful scented candle in the living room.The hosts were the best!! They were very kind and hospitable. The area was absolutely gorgeous!

Lovely stay in cozy cabin property with plenty of space. The kitchen was well-stocked (with dishware, flatware, pots, pans, etc) for preparing all of our meals on site. We really enjoyed the fire pit at night. Thoughtful touches, such as snacks and water bottles, on arrival were greatly appreciated. Highly recommend and would stay again!

We loved the cabin and location,. We we glad that it had snowed prior to us showing up so I didn’t have to drive in snow( inexperienced since we live in Florida). The snow did stay on the ground for most of the trip so we got to play in it. We went to mt Jefferson, grandfather mountain, alpine coaster by sugar mountain, banner elk and went to tweetsie railroad. Great time together and nice chilly weather. The propane fireplace came in handy as well as the fire pit outside. I would recommend this cabin for a family of 4. We loved it!!

Very nice cabin, Down in the woods. Saw deer's right outside the cabin on two different occasions. The cabin was well furnished and clean with a nice gas fire place to help warm your bones! It's about 20 Minutes to Boone or West Jefferson, so it's was a really good location if you mind a short drive to get to a town. It's also Just off the Blue Ridge Pky Way. We found Day's Choose and Cut family owned Tree farm just a few minutes from the cabin and they were very friendly and easy to walk when looking for the perfect tree. I would recommend the cabin to any small family.

This is such a special cabin! The hosts thought of everything. We felt like they were preparing for family to visit so we never felt like tenants. Everything was clean with fresh towels and linens. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend. My family loved your sweet hospitality:)

Very clean, comfortable cabin in the woods. Loved relaxing in the hammock amd listening to the creek. Simon and Julia were awesome. We had an unfortunate leak in the middle of the night. Simon drove up from Cary that morning and repaired everything. We can't wait to go back!

The house was...fine. The host was helpful and responsive; the house was comfortable. However, it lacked any charm and had some unsavory issues with the fridge and wifi. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful location. A brook wanders past the front of the property. Most of the house is updated and recently painted. A few items are worn, but overall, the place is lovely for a small group - it sleeps 5 at most.

The property was just what we were looking for. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. It was nice and quiet except for the relaxing sounds of nature. We liked the feeling of being tucked away in the woods with the ability to be in Boone or West Jefferson in just minutes.

A warm embrace immediately upon arrival with a bottle of wine and two glasses on the kitchen island set the tone for our stay. This cabin in the woods with modern facilities including high speed internet and nice flat screen TVs is a gem set in the woods of the high country of N.C. We had a great time with cool Summer weather, great dining and a number of rounds of golf at three quality public courses.

My in-laws, husband, baby, dog and I had a very nice trip to the mountains with this property as our home base. It was very nice to have a comfy space close to hikes, shopping and apple picking. The hosts were wonderful and responded quickly when we reached out. Very welcoming!

My wife and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary and the property was perfect. We were close enough to things to do but felt like we wereaway from everything when we wnated to be. The hosts made everything simple and even had a bittle of champagne waiting on us. Small things like that are really huge when traveling. I would highly recommend this property.

Very quiet,off highway on a gravel dirt road. It was hiding up on the hill. Lots of room inside only me and my sister was there. We had a issue with gnats but the host took care of the issue very quickly and very understanding. So other then that we enjoyed our stay and had a great time!! Next trip I plan, I will stay longer. Thanks to our host for making our stay a great one!! God Bless You! Thank you again for everything! Juanita. Holt was very understanding.

Wonderful hidden gem in the mountains! I proposed to my fiancé while in Boone and this was a wonderful getaway location for us! Julia and Simon are wonderful as well! Pictures truly don’t do it justice!

The cabin was cute and cozy. Had everything we needed. We liked the location and was easy to access, stream rolling through the property which was nice the listen to. We enjoyed our stay here! The owners were very nice to work with, helpful with any and all questions I had. Even got additional info for me when I asked for recommendations! Great place!

My family loved this home. So many little things made the stay welcoming and homey - nice decor, lots of supplies, and ample space to relax. But, the location is magical! We saw deer in the woods, caught salamanders in the creek, and laughed at the farm animals across the way. Convenient access to the Parkway, the Cascades, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Caverns, Mount Jefferson, and Ashe County Cheese. We did them all and visited family in Wilkes county. We would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this rental!

The property was just what we were looking for. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. It was nice and quiet except for the relaxing sounds of nature. We liked the feeling of being tucked away in the woods with the ability to be in Boone or West Jefferson in just minutes.

Cute place. Nice and quiet. Clean. Could not get to the little creek, but no problem ... we found another place for our grandson to swim and play. Very close to everything we wanted to get to. Easy access to the cabin by roads. No twisty, turning roads.

Beautiful cabin perfect location. Just up the road from all there is to offer in Boone, West Jefferson etc however private enough to have space to relax. The creek and privacy of the lot helped us truly get away from the hustle and bustle of life for a few days. We will be back! Cabin stocked with everything you could need just bring yourself!

Very nice cabin, Down in the woods. Saw deer's right outside the cabin on two different occasions. The cabin was well furnished and clean with a nice gas fire place to help warm your bones! It's about 20 Minutes to Boone or West Jefferson, so it's was a really good location if you mind a short drive to get to a town. It's also Just off the Blue Ridge Pky Way. We found Day's Choose and Cut family owned Tree farm just a few minutes from the cabin and they were very friendly and easy to walk when looking for the perfect tree. I would recommend the cabin to any small family.

The cabin was immaculate and well stocked with extra blankets, outdoor chair cushions, and even some coffee pods and cream/sugar. Had a very nice gas grill (which we did not use). Excellent WiFi. Great place to stay!

My wife and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary and the property was perfect. We were close enough to things to do but felt like we wereaway from everything when we wnated to be. The hosts made everything simple and even had a bittle of champagne waiting on us. Small things like that are really huge when traveling. I would highly recommend this property.

Our stay at this cabin was such a fantastic experience! It was exactly as described and more! The owners have literally thought of everything from snacks and smore skewers to kid toys/high chairs and doggie treats if you have one. The location geographically and with the sounds of the creek are wonderful. It was super clean, comfy and cozy. Check in and out was a breeze. We will be back for sure!

We had a wonderful stay. Cabin was very clean and thoughtfully equipped. It truly felt like a cozy mountainside treehouse overlooking a peaceful, babbling creek! The location was perfect for us while enjoying antiquing and spending a few days exploring Boone, Blowing Rock and West Jefferson. Don’t miss stopping by Ashe County Cheese in nearby West Jefferson! Delicious cheese, huge candy shop in wooden barrels, and their ice cream selections are the BEST, especially the sumptuous peach! Cabin owners are very helpful and responsive.

This cabin in the woods with modern facilities including high speed internet and nice flat screen TVs is a gem set in the woods of the high country of N.C. We had a great time with cool Summer weather, great dining and a number of rounds of golf at three quality public courses.

Lovely stay in cozy cabin property with plenty of space. The kitchen was well-stocked (with dishware, flatware, pots, pans, etc) for preparing all of our meals on site. We really enjoyed the fire pit at night. Thoughtful touches, such as snacks and water bottles, on arrival were greatly appreciated. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Wonderful hidden gem in the mountains! I proposed to my fiancé while in Boone and this was a wonderful getaway location for us! Julia and Simon are wonderful as well! Pictures truly don’t do it justice!
