We are located on a 14 acre property just under 40 miles from downtown Denver directly off Hwy 285, so access is easy year round. We're also just 20 miles from any of the comforts you desire of the big city, or famed Red Rocks Amphitheater....

We had a wonderful stay at Kim's cabin in the woods. She and Brent were wonderful hosts - they were there when we needed them, but otherwise we had the property to ourselves. It's beautiful and hilly with a pond and nice trails for hiking/exploring. The cabin was well-furnished with a comfy bedroom and living area, nicely stocked kitchen, and plenty of cozy bath towels. We were thrilled with the location - close to the highway to get out exploring but tucked in the woods for plenty of privacy. We came for some RandR and enjoyed every minute of our stay thanks to our wonderful hosts!

I rented this cabin by myself for the purpose of solitude and clarity. This place was absolutely perfect. The location is easy to get to, its pushed back on the property so you are completely surrounded by forest but you are still near every thing you might need and for a woman traveling alone it was comforting to know others were within reach. It so clean, warm and inviting, updated and fully equipped with everything. I loved having the trail there to take a walk through the forest and along the Lake. Lots of wildlife. Just beautiful. and only about an hour from Denver. I will be staying here again!

Great place an easy drive to Denver and several parks. The dogs had a great time hiking nearby and then me and my spouse got to site see a bit as well. It was nice and quiet.

A cozy comfortable adorable cabin on a beautiful property. I had a very relaxing retreat. Enjoyed hiking the trails with my dog. Wished I could have stayed longer. Will definitely go back and recommend to my friends.

Great little cabin in the woods! Super comfortable bed, great shower, kitchen had everything we needed and a nice view from the extended windows. The owners live on site and needed to cut some trees. The chainsaw noise was disappointing but understandable as winter is coming. We would stay here again during the week.

The cabin itself was everything we had hoped for. However, the description of the property did not match reality. Pine beetle tree kill made the RV tenant very close and you can hear the roar of trucks on the highway all day and night.

We arrived late on a Thursday night and stayed through that next Monday. We could not have asked for a better location. Very good hiking near and only a 30min drive to and from red rocks. I recommend this place for anyone looking to get away and enjoy the beautiful area. We are very happy with our decision to stay at this cabin.

My son and I really enjoyed our stay. It was so cozy and peaceful. We were really comfortable. The property is beautiful. My son got to see a deer for the first time. It has everything you need.
