Sam-O-Set Lodge | Lakeside Retreat w/ Hot Tub, Dock, and Fire Pit

For a weekend of record colds, the kids will never see this weekend as one in which they had to remain indoors the entire time. With some great skiing at Saddleback and the the oversized hot tub at Sam-O-Set the kids had a ball along with the adults. Thanks for making our trip so memorable.

This is a beautiful house and great location if you're looking to ski or snowmobile. The snowmobile trails go right through the property. Skiing is only a few minutes away and the house has plenty of parking and space. We had above 14 there including kids and it was great. My only complaint were the light switches don't work all that well (auto on/off switches) and we didn't have enough towels but very minor complaints. I'll go back as the house was perfect for our needs.

I would have no problem with using Morton and Furbish to stay at Sam-O- Set Or anywhere in Rangeley!. They have 5 Star communication and were very friendly when I stopped in the office. The Rangeley area is beautiful with so much to do and the lodge is the perfect home base for all those activities. Highly recommend!

Sam-O-Set is a lovely place. Very accommodating home with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was clean and the home was functional for the most part. There's a lot of automation in the house but some of those features didn't work. The only negative were the chairs surrounding the firepit. They're in bad shape and need to be replaced.
