It was 1/2 block from Main Street in Berlin - close to all the quilt shops we were participating in for Ohio Shop Hop. Could walk to downtown - the hometown restaurants were awesome (however, we fixed several meals ourselves, in their fully equipped kitchen) - AND it was quiet! It was so clean and felt like an apartment - you will love staying here - hope you give it a try.

Could walk to downtown - the hometown restaurants were awesome (however, we fixed several meals ourselves, in their fully equipped kitchen) - AND it was quiet! The touches of hospitality were greatly appreciated. We loved reading about the history of the family and seeing the family heirlooms around the house. We enjoyed sitting outside, playing in the yard, and the location. This was exactly what we were looking for, and we plan to book here again!

Very nice apartment. They had snacks for us, coffee and water. The parking is close. It was very clean. Comfortable bed. Also very convenient to have a washer and dryer. The kitchen had everything that you could need. We enjoyed our stay. Also a large TV.

We live in a more rural area but this spot was more quiet a block from town. Family totally loved it immediately. Overall a simple, fair priced, comfy and convenient location. 2 thumbs up.Oh for a corny dad like myself the process of using a VCR with our minions was memorable.

Excellent property with play set for children. Central to much of what one goes to Amish Country to enjoy! Very nice unit with lovely view of pond/fountain across the street. Open floor plan with updated counters. Nice kitchen area with ample space. Great coffeebar and snacks for guests!

We had the most wonderful time staying at the Yoder's on Somerset. It was immaculate and so very inviting. There is not one single thing I would change about this place. Convenient to Berlin, (just 3 minutes up the road) and so peaceful. My mom and I sat on the patio and just talked about family and reminiscing about our lives. It's the first time we took a trip like this and the Yoder's made it so very perfect. Do not hesitate to book this sweet place. You will have zero regrets about staying here. We will be back!!!

Lovely home! Easy to book, great interactions and fast replies from the hosts. There are no steps at all, you can pull right up to the door, unload and park in a designated spot by the house. Lots of extras- a loaf of baked bread, variety of coffees and snacks, detailed instructions for the use of tv's and air conditioning/heat. It felt like "coming home" in the evenings!

This was a perfect property for an overnight girls trip. The owners were wonderful and provided great communication. The apartment was exactly as in the pictures and description. We especially enjoyed sitting on the patio and listening to the fountain across the street. It was very quiet and peaceful at night. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of blankets. We loved the cinnamon bread and basket of snacks provided! We already talked about staying here again next year. Thank you!

Beautiful/cozy little property! James was very quick with responses to any questions & very helpful through the entire booking process & stay! Loved that there was a swing set for kids (even though we didn’t get a chance to use it). The snacks were a lovely bonus & we loved looking through the notes left by previous guests! A short distance to town made for a perfect stay for our girl’s trip!

We could not be more pleased with our stay! James and Carol are the perfect hosts, thinking of everything you might need during a getaway. They were so gracious to squeeze our reservation in over the holiday, when they had originally planned to block that weekend for Thanksgiving celebrations. This was a super clean and nice, no stair entry, place to stay barely off Berlin’s main drag. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Would definitely stay here again. No complaints. Highly recommend.

We travel to Berlin, OHIO every year, and this year instead of staying at the hotel we decided to rent a VRBO. The Yoder VRBO was just perfect, and great hospitality. It was easy to locate and check in. We were shocked to find a basket of goodies, a loaf of bread, coffee/tea, and water waiting for us in the refrigerator. It was extremely clean and very inviting. Of course, the bed was comfortable, great living space for hanging out in the evening, but I think we enjoying their family photo album and reading about the history of their family more than anything. I love genealogy and it was interesting to read their story. We are definitely going to book again for next year as soon as we figure out our dates!

We had a wonderful time at James and Carol's place!! It was very cozy and inviting and very clean. A lot of nice little touches put it over the top of other places we have stayed. The snacks were very much appreciated!! They were there if we needed anything (one small thing was fixed right away), but not intrusive. We would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Two friends and myself decided to spend a weekend together to do a little shopping and a lot of catching up. We stayed at rhis lovely place in Berlin The Hosts were very helpful and the whole process very easy. The unit was very pretty, clean and cool (which was great considering it was in the 90s outside. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan on booking here again

This was a fantastic place to stay! Very clean and nice amenities. James was constantly in touch with me, which was great! The property is right off the main road and close to everything. I can not stress enough how great this VBRO was for 2 seniors with mobility issues. No Step walk in unit which made our trip very enjoyable. The unit had every convenience most homes would have. The unit had exceptional WiFi speed with a wide choice of TV channel viewing. One small note to be aware would be Cell Service... Berlin Ohio is a small community, our T-Mobile Cell coverage was available but with limited connection.

Very near downtown Berlin , yet far enough away to be very peaceful. The host was the greatest, checking with us during our entire stay to see if there was anything we needed, if they could do anything to make our stay just as comfortable as possible. Just can’t say enough about the host.

We had a great time exploring Amish country. Our house had everything we needed and was close to shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay with the Yoders on our return trip.

Very near downtown Berlin , yet far enough away to be very peaceful. The host was the greatest, checking with us during our entire stay to see if there was anything we needed, if they could do anything to make our stay just as comfortable as possible. Just can’t say enough about the host.

We had the most wonderful time staying at the Yoder's on Somerset. It was immaculate and so very inviting. There is not one single thing I would change about this place. Convenient to Berlin, (just 3 minutes up the road) and so peaceful. My mom and I sat on the patio and just talked about family and reminiscing about our lives. It's the first time we took a trip like this and the Yoder's made it so very perfect. Do not hesitate to book this sweet place. You will have zero regrets about staying here. We will be back!!!

This home was perfect for us. It met all of our expectations and then some. The Yoder's answered any questions we had, contacted us prior to check in and the day of check in. The coffee/tea bar was an added treat with unexpected treats that made us feel very welcome. I would recommend this home to anyone.

Very nice apartment. They had snacks for us, coffee and water. The parking is close. It was very clean. Comfortable bed. Also very convenient to have a washer and dryer. The kitchen had everything that you could need. We enjoyed our stay. Also a large TV.

I took Mom to Amish country to celebrate her 83rd birthday. The Yoder's place was the perfect place for us to stay. It was so close to everything we probably could have walked, if it would have been warmer. We loved how the place was decorated and the fresh bread they left us was a wonderful and delicious treat. Would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it.

We travel to Berlin, OHIO every year, and this year instead of staying at the hotel we decided to rent a VRBO. The Yoder VRBO was just perfect, and great hospitality. It was easy to locate and check in. We were shocked to find a basket of goodies, a loaf of bread, coffee/tea, and water waiting for us in the refrigerator. It was extremely clean and very inviting. Of course, the bed was comfortable, great living space for hanging out in the evening, but I think we enjoying their family photo album and reading about the history of their family more than anything. I love genealogy and it was interesting to read their story. We are definitely going to book again for next year as soon as we figure out our dates!

Excellent property with play set for children. Central to much of what one goes to Amish Country to enjoy! Very nice unit with lovely view of pond/fountain across the street. Open floor plan with updated counters. Nice kitchen area with ample space. Great coffeebar and snacks for guests!

We had a wonderful time at James and Carol's place!! It was very cozy and inviting and very clean. A lot of nice little touches put it over the top of other places we have stayed. The snacks were very much appreciated!! They were there if we needed anything (one small thing was fixed right away), but not intrusive. We would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Lovely home! Easy to book, great interactions and fast replies from the hosts. There are no steps at all, you can pull right up to the door, unload and park in a designated spot by the house. This was a perfect property for an overnight girls trip. The owners were wonderful and provided great communication. The apartment was exactly as in the pictures and description. We especially enjoyed sitting on the patio and listening to the fountain across the street. It was very quiet and peaceful at night. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of blankets. The location could not have been better. There is a saying which goes "location location". The apartment was very roomy and the owners informed us about upcoming work being done around the outside. Everything you would want in your own home was available. It was very apparent that the owners wanted to provide as many amenities as one would expect and what you have in your own home. Each room had its own heat/air and tv. The living/dinning/ kitchen area was one large room, but separated and very well done. Our downside was that the couch was very hard to get up from because it was so low. Also the bathroom needs more lighting. My wife was aware of a musty smell. A dehumidifier was provided, which was emptied several times a day. With all said and done, I would stay there again and would recommend staying there to anyone that wants something that makes you feel like you were at your own home. We wanted a place to relax and would allow us to feel like being at home and this place fit that need.
