Easy check-in, clean, great rustic cabin, clean outside area, firepit had all the kindling and wood we needed . Hot tub worked great every night. Grill worked well, Clifty falls close , Wal-Mart and kroger a quick drive. Peaceful walk down by the little creek in front of the cabin. Highly recommended!!!!

The cabin is so cute. Perfect size for the 3 of us. The hot tub was a huge hit, especially after a long day at Cliffty Falls. There were beach towels, and really good body was, shampoo, and conditioner.

The cabin is lovely with a beautiful seating area, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable dining table. Two bedrooms ideal for a small family or two couples looking for a getaway. Twon is nearby and shopping easily accessible. It's adjacent to a working farm as you can see from the pictures but it's fenced and we enjoyed the cows who grazed just up the hill. The full wrap around porch is a treat, sitting on any side for a soft breeze and a breath of clean air. Nice little corner of Indiana and we'll happily return.

We booked this cabin for a short weekend getaway while visiting Madison to explore the town and Clifty Falls. Clean cabin located on owners farm about 10-15 minute drive from downtown Madison. The porch was a great place to relax in the morning with coffee and the sounds of the outdoors. The cabin itself was cozy, homey and quiet. A wonderful place to get away to and relax. We will definitely look to re-book the next time we come to the Madison area.

This place was a perfect getaway spot! Rustic homey with all the amenities you need. Loved the hot tub, fire pit, propane grill, wraparound porch. The home was very clean and well stocked for all your needs. Actually they go the extra mile in setting you up for your stay, a basket with some snacks and water, some coffee pods and filters depending on how you want to make your coffee, a couple dishwashing pods to get you started for the dishwasher and shampoo conditioner etc. Will definitely be back and have a much longer stay.

This place is amazing and comfy place to stay. The hot tub was clean and great for the use even in the middle of the summer in the hot heat. It was great to relax in the evening after a long hot day in Madison. I loved the porch how it wrapped around the whole cabin. You can enjoy the shade no matter what time of day it is. There is a nice little creek that you can walk through so bring extra shoes. We live in the country and still loved everything about this place. Next time we will bring the kids.

This is one of the nicest rentals we have ever used. What you see in the listing photos is exactly what you find in the cabin. The finishings, furniture, and property are all very well kept. The hot tub was amazing! We woke up to sleet/snow on the steps, but the owners had already been by to apply salt. They let us know the night before, so we wouldn't be startled. We soaked in the hot tub while waiting for the weather to clear, then headed to Clifty Falls and downtown Madison for the day. Can't ask for a more relaxing way to speed a winter weekend.

This is a great place to stay! Nicely decorated and very cozy. The hosts are awesome and provided suggestions for things to do and restaurants to try. Close to downtown Madison. We really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and relaxing on the wrap around porch in the evenings.

Stoney Creek had everything we could have wanted for a perfect weekend getaway! A beautiful cabin including comfortable beds, fully-appointed kitchen, lovely grounds, and a hot tub. Everything was spotlessly cleaned before our arrival and our hosts were quick to respond to any questions. Location bonus: this cabin is only about 15 minutes to the town of Madison or to Clifty Falls.

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights for a relaxing mini vacation. This was our first VRBO experience after having had an dirty, nasty property experience with the “A” company (similar to VRBO) a couple years ago in Virginia. I’m happy to report this place was clean! We had no problems at all. The security code for the door worked fine, the TV was easy to operate as was the AC/heat. Please don’t look at the square footage and think it’s way too small. It’s perfect for 2-4 adults or 2 adults and a couple of kids. The high ceilings make it feel very roomy. We will absolutely book this cabin again when we’re in the area. Thank you for a great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay! Checkin was easy and everything was as described. We loved the location. A circumstance beyond their control was the noise from traffic but I think we noticed it because we come from an area with few of those diesel engine pickup trucks (we’re city mice!). We would stay again for sure on our next trip to Madison! Definitely recommend!

My husband and I had a wonderful two day stay. The cabin is so charming and well kept. It's far enough away from town to be quiet and peaceful, but close enough (10 minutes) to town if we needed to run to the store. There were even snacks, bottled water, and coffee, which we greatly appreciated. We spent most of our time sitting on wrap around porch and in hot tub! Such a relaxing trip! It was the perfect getaway.

Absolutely loved the cabin and the setting. I felt a great deal of freedom to roam around and down to the nearby creek. There is a bit of traffic on the road in front of the cabin, but it appears to be mostly local and was never overly heavy. Also, the water pressure in the shower was a bit low, but still serviceable. I didn't take advantage of the firepit this time, but the rockers on the porch were quite nice. Overall, the cabin radiated the comfort of a home-away-from-home, and I felt as familiar and settled as a frequent visitor, though this was my first visit.

We loved how the cabin was constructed to look like it had been there a long time, but was also so new and clean with great amenities. The hot tub is a great addition (especially with few in the area!). It seemed about 15 minutes to most restaurants or places we wanted to go - but we didn't mind that. It was a nice balance of close and off the beaten path! (We also loved the peanut butter pie and pizza at B Bops/Brittany's Brick Oven Pizza and the lunch at the Attic Coffee Mill Cafe - many other great restaurants to choose from).Host was also very quick with communication, helpful, and accommodating to our requests!

Cabin, location, amenities, privacy…it was perfect! Don’t worry about sleeping on an uncomfortable bed because those beds did not disappoint!!! Even the pillows were like clouds of comfort. Property had a great vibe; felt like Home away from Home.

My husband and our son stayed for two nights and had a great time! The cabin was clean and just overall really nice. The hot tub was fantastic! The owners were very communicative and responsive. Overall, this made for a perfect little getaway!

This cabin is a gem! This was our second time staying in this cabin. It was perfect. Knowing that a snow storm was coming, I contacted Kristi and Austin. They allowed us to check-in early to avoid hazardous road conditions. We spent Friday evening sitting in the hot tub watching the snow fall. It was incredibly peaceful. After several inches of snow fell on Friday evening, we were not expecting to see perfectly clear roads Saturday morning. This area does an amazing job of keeping the roads clear. We had no issues getting to Madison for coffee, we took a snowy hike at Clifty Falls, and finished off the day back at the cabin in the hot tub.FYI...Kristi and Austin had cleared the snow from the previous weekend and salted the steps up to the cabin. Even with snow falling while we were there, the steps stayed clear and safe.We absolutely love this cabin and the area. We fully intend to spend our next anniversary weekend here next year. Thanks for having us!

This was an amazing stay. On the day we were to check out it snowed overnight. However the people who rented the cabin had our steps cleared all the way to our car. Very cozy cabin, very well kept. Beds were comfy and everything we needed was provided. Kristen was both flexible and helpful. Nice spacious tract with excellent privacy. Great proximity to Madison and Clifty Falls State Park. Would definitely consider staying here again.

This is one of the nicest rentals we have ever used. What you see in the listing photos is exactly what you find in the cabin. The finishings, furniture, and property are all very well kept. The hot tub was amazing! We woke up to sleet/snow on the steps, but the owners had already been by to apply salt. They let us know the night before, so we wouldn't be startled. We soaked in the hot tub while waiting for the weather to clear, then headed to Clifty Falls and downtown Madison for the day. Can't ask for a more relaxing way to speed a winter weekend.

My wife and I enjoyed our two nights at the cabin. The cabin is pretty new and very clean. We loved the sense of seclusion and the wrap-around porch and the hot tub. The location is near enough to Madison (a wonderful small town we enjoyed strolling around), Clifty Falls State Park (where we enjoyed hiking), and Hanover College (whose campus we hiked... my wife is an alum). So, if you want a quiet weekend in a clean cabin that is within 15 minutes of some things to do, this is a great choice!

The cabin is well taken care of and has everything you could need. Loved the hot tub and the wrap around porch. Host was quick to respond to questions and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend. Love to go back again. Just short drive to downtown Madison, Clifty State Park and Hanover.

We had such a nice time during our stay. All of the amenities were just what we needed, making it easy to cook for ourselves, do laundry, etc. We loved having the hot tub and fire pit so easily accessible. The property is definitely off the beaten path, but easy to find and just a short drive to Madison. We really appreciated the quiet and peaceful setting.

We came to Madison for the Regatta and to look at properties for a second home. This cabin was a wonderful place to cool down, clean up and relax after hot days out and about. 10 minutes from downtown Madison. Highly recommend this cabin.

This is a great place to stay! Nicely decorated and very cozy. The hosts are awesome and provided suggestions for things to do and restaurants to try. Close to downtown Madison. We really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and relaxing on the wrap around porch in the evenings.

The cabin was great. Comfortable beds is always a plus. The hot tub was perfect once I figured out the heat setting. The host was great to deal with as we had a couple easy questions for them. We told friends about the place and they've already booked for October.

We will definitely look to stay here again! From the start, the communication was amazing and lightning fast! We had everything we needed for a nice couple days away to rest and reset! The location was just far enough from town to relax but still close enough to grab some food and supplies quickly. The cabin itself was truly comfortable and between the hot tub, cornhole boards, fire pit, and plenty of room to sit on the porch, we had a great time!
