The property itself is beautiful and well maintained. However, the noise transfer between floors was the worst I've experienced in a long time. Despite earplugs and a loud AC I could hear everything from the floor above, even them sneezing. The people above me came in late, and were fully up again at 4am. After only a few hours of sleep I realized the noise wasn't going to stop, so I took a pillow and had to go sleep in my car in the parking lot. Again, nice property, but if you get a bottom unit you are truly at the mercy of those above you. I spent almost $200 to sleep in my car.

The only reason that I didn't give them four stars is that there was so much light on the front of the building that you could not sit on the chairs and see any stars. I assumed that a place called dark skies would have lights that are motion sensored or more dim so that you could take in the night sky, so we walked about a block down the road to see the stars. Also, the floors are very thin and we could hear every footstep from the neighbors upstairs. The room itself was fine. Very clean and lots of windows. The bed was really hard, but some people like this.
