Superior home, well furnished, clean and with well stocked kitchen. Back patio rolls out to lawn with beautiful Adirondack chairs overlooking Lake Champlain. Short drive to St. Albans where there are a couple good spots, including Twiggs for lunch/dinner and Mother Hubbards is a great deli. Host is top notch!

Beautiful home right on the water. Loved having the kayaks right there to spend hours on the water. House fully equipped for cooking meals and relaxing in the evening. Definitely recommend.

We loved the house and the location. Everything that you could need had been thought of. Close to St. Albans. Waking up to the lake, and sitting in the Adirondack chairs in the evening was bliss. Went kayaking with the equipment. The house was spectacularly clean. We didn’t want to leave.

The cottage was great. Location is exceptionally beautiful, right on the water where you can watch the beautiful sunset. Inside of the house had everything we needed and more. TV with all kinds of providers, internet, fully equipped kitchen.

We stayed in this house because of it's close proximity to family during the holidays, but it ended up being such a great find that we hope to stay in again! The house uses space very well, the kitchen is spacious and I found everything I needed to do baking and cooking. We loved the room that looked out on the lake with big sliding doors. One thing to note is that one bedroom, with the King sized bed, is down in a refinished area of the basement, so it does require lots of up and down a steep set of stairs. There's a big driveway and lots of lawn space, including a fire pit and chairs, it looks like it'd be a really nice place to stay in the summer! But we really enjoyed it even in the winter. it was nice and warm and cozy, and has a great gas fireplace that throws a ton of heat! The host was extremely fast to respond with any questions I had! Would definitely recommend.

The place was extremely clean and well kept. Finding the driveway at night was a bit tricky, as well as figuring out what was lawn and what was driveway, but once figured out, the access was easy. All the rooms were clean and felt comfortable being in, even the kitchen in using utensils, plates, and pans was good. The bed downstairs was very warm and had a nice heavy duvet on it, making it easy to sleep in and not want to get out of.

A lovely house. Easy to get in and find our way around. A useful book of instructions. The host was easy to communicate with. On demand hot water took a moment to figure out, but once we did, it was a The view out the back door is incredible. Especially the sky at night. Find the house by daylight the first time. The area is rural and VERY dark at night. Our GPS mis directed us and we had to adjust for that. When ŵe would leave knowing we were coming back at night we left the porch light on.

Sadly, we were there for a funeral, not a vacation, but Cari made everything as easy as possible for us. The house is beautiful, the beds very comfortable, and the kitchen has every modern convenience. The kids were very excited to see people fishing on the ice, and we’re thrilled when it snowed 4 inches and they went outside to make snow angels! The site really is our hearts.

The house was comfortable, everything we needed for a great stay. Kari was great with communications. Very close to grocery stores and a short trip to Burlington and ski areas. We stayed in winter so did not get a chance to enjoy the lake but would love to come back in summer.

This was my first time renting through VRBO. The experience was great. It was easy to use the site, it was an excellent rental. Just as pictured, easy to communicate with the owner. It had everything. Didn't have to bring half of what we did. Next time just clothes and personal necessities. It was a great girls weekend.

We had the best week at Kari’s place. The house is well stocked, organized and comfortable that you instantly feel at home. We came during a difficult time for Vermonters, I appreciated Kari’s uprfront communication and my heart goes out to the communities affected. Thank you for a great week

Superior home, well furnished, clean and with well stocked kitchen. Back patio rolls out to lawn with beautiful Adirondack chairs overlooking Lake Champlain. Short drive to St. Albans where there are a couple good spots, including Twiggs for lunch/dinner and Mother Hubbards is a great deli. Host is top notch!

Beautiful home right on the water. Loved having the kayaks right there to spend hours on the water. House fully equipped for cooking meals and relaxing in the evening. Definitely recommend.

The place was extremely clean and well kept. Finding the driveway at night was a bit tricky, as well as figuring out what was lawn and what was driveway, but once figured out, the access was easy. All the rooms were clean and felt comfortable being in, even the kitchen in using utensils, plates, and pans was good. The bed downstairs was very warm and had a nice heavy duvet on it, making it easy to sleep in and not want to get out of.

The cottage was great. Location is exceptionally beautiful, right on the water where you can watch the beautiful sunset. Inside of the house had everything we needed and more. TV with all kinds of providers, internet, fully equipped kitchen.

We stayed in this house because of it's close proximity to family during the holidays, but it ended up being such a great find that we hope to stay in again! The house uses space very well, the kitchen is spacious and I found everything I needed to do baking and cooking. We loved the room that looked out on the lake with big sliding doors. One thing to note is that one bedroom, with the King sized bed, is down in a refinished area of the basement, so it does require lots of up and down a steep set of stairs. There's a big driveway and lots of lawn space, including a fire pit and chairs, it looks like it'd be a really nice place to stay in the summer! But we really enjoyed it even in the winter. it was nice and warm and cozy, and has a great gas fireplace that throws a ton of heat! The host was extremely fast to respond with any questions I had! Would definitely recommend.

The washer and dryer were also top quality There's not a lot going on in Swanton, just know you're going to a really small but nice town.
