The house is very comfortable, with different gathering areas to talk, play games, read and just relax. The sauna and hot tub were great as were the amenities at the club house. We played pickle ball and worked out in the gym.

The house was amazing. Our family enjoyed spending time in the game room. The amenities that come with the house were great. Several beaches nearby, a golf course in the complex, and other activities offered through the POA. Great place to stay.

Property was clean and beautiful. The owner got right back to us when we asked questions. Only down side, no garbage pick up. You have to take trash to the trash compactor about 2 miles up the road.

We cannot wait to come back!! We absolutely loved having our morning coffee on the front porch and soaking in the hot tub at night and then sitting by the fire. It was awesome having tvs with Netflix and Amazon prime in ALL the bedrooms!! This was the perfect getaway!! Thank you so much!!

This house is appropriately named! “Where the fun begins” was a jackpot for our family. The kids enjoyed all the games and the adults loved the sauna and the hot tub. The fire pit and grill were a plus. The area has lots to do within a 30 mile radius. We visited Ritters Winery, Alvin’s Off Road Playground, Lehigh Family train excursion and Bushkill Falls. We paddled around the lake and jumped in the pool. Daniela was a gracious host and checked in frequently to make sure we didn’t need anything.

Wonderful cabin in the woods with lots of amenities. The listing was exactly what was delivered and we all enjoyed ourselves. Our host, was available immediately for the very few questions we had. The basement was awesome - every kind of game along with ping pong, Pac Man (our fav) and air hockey. Hot tub was also enjoyed. Highly recommend!

This property was great for a long getaway. Very clean inside (and outside), and enough space to not be on top of each other. Daniela was very responsive to all our questions, maybe the fastest and most detailed of any properties I have rented through VRBO. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for peace, and quiet, in the Poconos.

If it weren’t for being Christmas and having my family with me and not wanting to ruin my time there, whatever I encountered would have been a much bigger deal. Cleanliness needs to be addressed as I found some not so desirable things in the pull out couches , both of them, and there were a decent amount of Cobb webs in the house. I have been to and near the Poconos for the last few years around the same time so I know it’s more outdoorsy so I expect little spider here and there, but like I said there were much more undesirable things that met me in the pullout beds. I will say I was reimbursed my cleaning fee as well as was allowed to stay 2 hours over check out. Was it enough to compensate, I wouldn’t say so. Would I revisit probably not but again every experience is different for everybody. Cleanliness should be the main priority especially when kids are on the guest list.

We had a cozy and fun stay with our family. The property is comfortable, has fun amenities and it is also conveniently located. We went to a park nearby that had nice trails. Our family likes to enjoy a good meal together, therefore we would have liked to have a larger dining table, in relation to the number of guests that the property holds (the table fits 6 people). However, we were able to make it work and had a good time! Communication with the manager was great, she promptly responds to questions and she is very helpful.

This home was way beyond our needs and we were super happy to stay there. We were a 2 family group with a bunch of teenagers and we had plenty of space. My kids loved the hot tub and especially the Ms. PacMan machine. Beds were super comfy, sheets and towels were provided, it was a perfect location. Great communication. We truly enjoyed our stay. Recommend to anyone looking for a vacation house

My family had a wonderful stay at Mountain Chalet! I had 11 people in my party, age ranged from 8months -81 yrs old and they all enjoyed themselves. I would say this house truly sleeps 8 (6 adults 2 kids)comfortably. Luckily we had some young folks with us who didn’t mind sleeping on the couches. There isn’t a formal dining room. The living room and kitchen are on the smaller side so if you plan on having a big family dinner like we did, you may need to get creative. If there is 8 people or less in your party the common areas are more than enough space for you all. The fireplace, hot tub, and game room were our favorites! There’s so much to do inside that we didn’t feel the need to explore the hideout amenities. The property owner is kind and very responsive. We would stay here again with a smaller group. Oh final thing is to beware of speed cameras! They are very strict about the speed limit inside the community.

Our family of 5 stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and we had a lovely time. The house is as described on the website. We found the game room very pleasant and very well maintained. Our kids played a lot of ping pong and air hockey. The living room with the projector is very cosy and the bedrooms are very quiet. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. All in all a great property. I would recommend it to anyone who would like a nice gateway.

Host was great to deal with and communication was quick. Very relaxing community. Has everything included which is a great plus saving trips to get necessities. House aas very clean and relaxing. Felt like you were actually at home instead of strange place. While cooking on grill outdoors, mother deer and her 2 babies came walking up to me about 10 feet away and just stayed there eating. Wish there was some kind of saw to cut wood for outdoor firepit but thats only minor. Will bring something to split wood next trip we make to here. Would definitely reccomend this place and plan on coming back in the future.

The 11 of us had a great time during our stay at this home! The listing was accurate and we had no problems with anything on the property! When entering the community at the gate house we were told we needed to have our vehicle registration as well as our ID's. However, we did not know the registration was necessary beforehand. We ended up getting in, but needed to linkup to the wifi to download some registrations as they were not on hand. I'd also like to note that the trash center, unbeknownst to us, was closednfor new years day, but due to the inconvenience the host was kind enough to allow us to leave the trash on the property. Communication was great and timely. Would definitely recommend!

To say I was impressed with this property is an understatement. From the moment I booked the place till we checked out the owner was wonderful to communicate with and responded within minutes. The property itself has everything you need, and the listing does not do it Justice. The setting is perfect, we even saw 2 bucks walk through the back yard one morning. This house is very close to the main beach and has easy access to the main gate and other amenities. There is so much to do at this house and our group couldn’t squeeze it in to a weekend. We definitely want to come back for a full week. This is the perfect house and location for people looking to make lifelong memories. Lake Wallenpaupack is about a 10 minute drive. We were able to find a rope swing under a bridge and had a blast swimming before our boat rental. We rented a ski boat from rubber duckie boat rental which was perfect. If you’re looking for a great church to go to while visiting I highly recommend Faith Baptist Fellowship Church.

Four of us from Ohio met up with two friends from New Hampshire exactly half way for all. This house is all it was described; wonderful accommodations and great location within The Hideout. We were slightly disappoint that so many things were closed during the last week of Aug., but we still enjoyed the property and the surrounding area. We would rent this house again.

It was nice gated community with access to a beach and a pool. Plenty of stuff for the grand kids to enjoy. The house was very nice. We stayed for a week and wished we could have stayed longer.

The house was amazing. Our family enjoyed spending time in the game room. The amenities that come with the house were great. Several beaches nearby, a golf course in the complex, and other activities offered through the POA. Great place to stay.

The 11 of us had a great time during our stay at this home! The listing was accurate and we had no problems with anything on the property! When entering the community at the gate house we were told we needed to have our vehicle registration as well as our ID's. However, we did not know the registration was necessary beforehand. We ended up getting in, but needed to linkup to the wifi to download some registrations as they were not on hand. I'd also like to note that the trash center, unbeknownst to us, was closednfor new years day, but due to the inconvenience the host was kind enough to allow us to leave the trash on the property. Communication was great and timely. Would definitely recommend!

We had a cozy and fun stay with our family. The property is comfortable, has fun amenities and it is also conveniently located. We went to a park nearby that had nice trails. Our family likes to enjoy a good meal together, therefore we would have liked to have a larger dining table, in relation to the number of guests that the property holds (the table fits 6 people). However, we were able to make it work and had a good time! Communication with the manager was great, she promptly responds to questions and she is very helpful.

Host was great to deal with and communication was quick. Very relaxing community. Has everything included which is a great plus saving trips to get necessities. House aas very clean and relaxing. Felt like you were actually at home instead of strange place. While cooking on grill outdoors, mother deer and her 2 babies came walking up to me about 10 feet away and just stayed there eating. Wish there was some kind of saw to cut wood for outdoor firepit but thats only minor. Will bring something to split wood next trip we make to here. Would definitely reccomend this place and plan on coming back in the future.

This house is appropriately named! “Where the fun begins” was a jackpot for our family. The kids enjoyed all the games and the adults loved the sauna and the hot tub. The fire pit and grill were a plus. The area has lots to do within a 30 mile radius. We visited Ritters Winery, Alvin’s Off Road Playground, Lehigh Family train excursion and Bushkill Falls. We paddled around the lake and jumped in the pool. Daniela was a gracious host and checked in frequently to make sure we didn’t need anything.

The hot tub was wonderful. Rooms were perfect enough for adults. The projector tv was perfect. Outdoor setting was beautiful and cozy. Very quiet and private. Plenty of cooking utensils and plates. Great memories were made there.
