Beautiful peaceful location. Enjoy the remote location and beautiful expanse view from the home deck. Nice to sit out there enjoying the quiet,sounds of the river and passing freight barges. Near many nature areas with hiking and nature. Closest large town would be Tell City with an approx 25 mile drive one way. If you like peace and quiet, nature and a beautiful river view this is the place. This was our 4th visit and won'tbe our last.

WI-FI never let us down. Shane was always quick to respond to our communications. Easy entry and plenty of parking. Well equipped for canine members of the family. Wanted a quiet getaway with my 80’s+ parents. Selected this particular property for that purpose. Excellent location, prime river views, quiet neighborhood, and well-appointed property. The river traffic was busy and the riverside firepit was enjoyed by all. Great stay!

My husband & I enjoyed our 4 day and night stay and didn't want it to end. The home is beautiful and clean with spectacular views of the Ohio River. Sitting on the deck, watching nature , the river barges ,or reading a book is so relaxing. No distractions and peace. Love that it's rural and the closest larger town Tell City is about 25 miles away. Home was extremely comfortable and cared for. All the comforts of home. Shane was a great host and available if needed. Will definitely return to this peaceful oasis on the river.

We would highly recommend this VRBO. Right on the Ohio River and the property has different level decks and an area with a fire ring. Very peaceful. And windows everywhere so you don't miss a thing. We would definitely stay here again. Plenty of room. The owner was amazing also and grew up in the area so very knowledgeable.

The property was exactly as described and included all the basics which was an added bonus. Gorgeous views from the master and living room area. Kitchen was fully equiped if you wanted to cook meals. The back patios (a little too chilly when we were there to use them) had plenty of seating to take in the scenery. Nice outdoor fire pit area too. The book the owners left in the house gave tons of information for things to do in the area if you wanted to leave. We had a great getaway!!

My family and I were extremely disappointed in this rental property. For the amount of money that was spent to rent this property it was not worth the price. First off the outside appearance needed a major scrubbing and over care. The side walk leading up to the front door was extremely uneven and you could easily trip walking up to the front door. It would have been nice to have a handrail going up to the front door. T

We had an fabulous time in this Magnet, IN house. The views were awesome and we really enjoyed the outdoor spaces to just sit and watch all of river traffic. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. All appliances were high end something you don't often get in a rental unit. It was especially nice to be able to bring our 2 dogs along with us. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Great getaway to relax! Beautiful view of the river and many barges. So peaceful, away from the day-to-day operations 6-days/week work schedule. Well equipped kitchen with modern appliances. Nice tv with several selections. Comfortable bed. We are already looking forward to coming back next summer!

Amazing 5 days! The home was lovely! Very clean. The views were so beautiful. I have stage 4 breast cancer and the last year and a half have been difficult. This is just what the doctor ordered. My husband and I found a calmness we haven't had for a long time. We just stayed in the house the entire time to enjoy the beauty around us. Very quiet and so serene. Can't wait to rebook!

Wonderful stay. Beautiful view on the Ohio River. Very quiet and peaceful. We were unable to operate the master bedroom overhead light but other than that, this was an exceptional space to rent. It was very clean and well cared for. We would definitely stay here again. A gem.

The view with the large windows and deck is outstanding. My main suggestion would regard the cleanliness of the decking and chairs. There was a black mold on the chairs which I cleaned before we could use them. We enjoyed our stay even though we could not stay several nights since there was a family emergency in Indianapolis.

Just the ticket for a quiet, restful week. Loved watching the wildlife and river traffic! Plenty of bedrooms to stretch out. Two full baths and laundry area allowed us to make ourselves right at home.

Check in was great. Even got an early check in. Which was nice. Kitchen facilities were nice. Wi fi was greatReally need to take care of the floor. And the ceiling fan. We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was as they described it. It was peaceful and quiet and the view of the river is great. The house was comfortable and more than adequate for the two of us and our dog. The yard is a nice size so the neighbors are not easily able to hear your outdoor conversations. The one thing we were not prepared for is there are no window coverings on the river side of the house. This means that if you choose to stay in the master bedroom your room will become light with the rising sun, because the room faces East. There is another smaller bedroom you could stay in but the bed and the room itself are smaller and the bathroom is down the hall. We would stay here again just not during the late spring to early fall timeframe. We live in EST, so the switch to CST did not help the sunrise issue, and depending on where you decide to explore the time zones can change without your realizing it. Also, as described your grocery options are miles away, so it's best to come with what you need.

There is a convenience store about 15-20 min away but other than that, it’s a good 45 min to civilization. Very nice river frontage. The only downfall of the river were the barges traveling up and down the river at night. Very nice to watch but some of us lost sleep due to the noise. The house definitely had everything we needed.

Our third time staying at this beautiful location. Away from the sounds of the city, and congestion. Loved sitting deck watchiing the river barges, and the Ohio River. Lots of nature and took a few long walks along the river. Very rural and winding roads with hilly terrain. Larger Tell City about 25 miles from the cabin. Went there for some shopping and ate at the Patio Steakhouse. Great atmosphere, clean and a delicious lunch buffet. Thanks To Shane and his wife for providing such a lovely home for guests to enjoy

This place is fantastic. This is our second stay and we will definitely be back again. The host Shane is absolutely fantastic at letting you know what's close by. I highly advise it.

Beautiful peaceful location. Enjoy the remote location and beautiful expanse view from the home deck. Nice to sit out there enjoying the quiet,sounds of the river and passing freight barges. Near many nature areas with hiking and nature. Closest large town would be Tell City with an approx 25 mile drive one way. If you like peace and quiet, nature and a beautiful river view this is the place. This was our 4th visit and won'tbe our last.

Wanted a quiet getaway with my 80’s+ parents. Selected this particular property for that purpose. Excellent location, prime river views, quiet neighborhood, and well-appointed property. The river traffic was busy and the riverside firepit was enjoyed by all. Great stay!

My husband & I enjoyed our 4 day and night stay and didn't want it to end. The home is beautiful and clean with spectacular views of the Ohio River. Sitting on the deck, watching nature , the river barges ,or reading a book is so relaxing. No distractions and peace. Love that it's rural and the closest larger town Tell City is about 25 miles away. Home was extremely comfortable and cared for. All the comforts of home. Shane was a great host and available if needed. Will definitely return to this peaceful oasis on the river.

This was our second time to stay. We were there in October last year and it was a beautiful time to stay. It was also beautiful in late May. We went home in October and booked for May. It’s so quiet and peaceful. We saw more wildlife this time. It was very exciting to see a bald eagle and her 2 babies. She flew down and grabbed a fish. If you book this property you won’t be disappointed! In fact we are talking about booking in September. 3 times in less than a year should be testimony enough!!!!

Really nice house with a great view. Clean and well stocked with towels. Has everything you need in the kitchen for cooking. Location is remote and in a quiet place. Will definitely be back.

Our third time staying at this beautiful location. Away from the sounds of the city, and congestion. Loved sitting deck watchiing the river barges, and the Ohio River. Lots of nature and took a few long walks along the river. Very rural and winding roads with hilly terrain. Larger Tell City about 25 miles from the cabin. Went there for some shopping and ate at the Patio Steakhouse. Great atmosphere, clean and a delicious lunch buffet. Thanks To Shane and his wife for providing such a lovely home for guests to enjoy

We would highly recommend this VRBO. Right on the Ohio River and the property has different level decks and an area with a fire ring. Very peaceful. And windows everywhere so you don't miss a thing. We would definitely stay here again. Plenty of room. The owner was amazing also and grew up in the area so very knowledgeable.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful view of the Ohio river and sunrise!! Fire pit was really nice. We would stay again!

We chose to stay in a more rural area to get away this year. It was definitely rural. There are just a few places by the house but we didn’t see anyone. There is a convenience store about 15-20 min away but other than that, it’s a good 45 min to civilization. Very nice river frontage. The only downfall of the river were the barges traveling up and down the river at night. Very nice to watch but some of us lost sleep due to the noise. The house definitely had everything we needed.

The property could use some TLC. One of the toilets was tricky to flush, the upper oven didn’t work, and one of the bar stools is missing a couple of screws on the seat. The views were beautiful. We enjoyed our stay, and we liked the location, but would likely choose another rental if we return to that area.

the cabin was very clean easy enter and exit the host was responsive the area around the cabin was beautiful with great trails and roads the view is wonderful from cabin great place to relax and enjoy the river we will be back
