Cozy Retreat w/ Fire Pit < 1 Mi to Mille Lacs Lake

Loved this Vintage house, felt like grandmas! Would most definitely return.

The weather cut our trip short, we had to come back early to avoid driving in a snow storm! But we already know we would like to try and book here again in the future. Very welcoming and cozy, exactly what we were looking for to decompress after the holidays.

Nice home with three bedrooms and two baths which was very close to the lake. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals there except oven needed to be cleaned and smoked when we tried to use it (enough to set off smoke alarm). Sinks in kitchen and upstairs restroom drain slowly. Washer and dryer is convenient. Internet is okay for texting, sending email, connecting phones, etc., but if you need to do remote work which includes uploading large data or image files, the internet is very slow. Listing was managed by a company outside of VRBO, Evolve, which was inconvenient because the property manager would not respond through the VRBO app, so responses were generally slow. I did not go off app to try to communicate with Evolve, so response time varied from days (before our trip) to hours while we were there.

It was nice cabin, basement was remodeled, upper level needs to be remodeled especially windows and carpet. Best thing they had toys for babies, games for adults and kitchen was stock up well. Lot of beds and space for everyone. Our family enjoyed it and hope other will enjoy too and make memories out of it❤️
