Really neat property and place, our hosts were were very hospitable. The goats and sheep were a pleasant sound to wake up to. I would definitely return if in the area again, the property and unit were well appointed with charming furnishings and art.

It was very nice…the grounds, the animals, inside the cottage…the only thing was the trolley wasn’t in good condition to eat inside…the owner was nice enough to gather the sheeps so we could have a close up with them

This place was great! Very comfortable, cute, peaceful and convenient to town. We enjoyed eating breakfast out on the picnic table, while watching a momma deer and her two spotted babies playing in the field. Owners were very responsive to any and all questions we had.

It was an unexpected sweet little efficient place. We happened to come right after a storm. The owner was very accommodating even with us arriving a little early. There was a small fire pit outside. We collected as much debris from the storm and kept a nice fire going. It was a nice respite for us. Many kudos to the owners!

We were in town for a softball tournament. The cottage was perfect location and had everything we needed and more. The animals were so fun and it was a nice touch to be able to say Good Morning to them before leaving for ball. Great spot!

This was our 4th stay at The Cottage, and we ALWAYS love it. Cozy and convenient to Montevallo with all the amenities including full kitchen and washer/dryer. The setting is idyllic and the bed is very comfortable. Sleep well and wake up to the birds and beautiful sounds of nature.

We, hubby, grandson, and I enjoyed our stay at “the cottage.” It was a safe place w/beautiful scenery. The bed was comfy, kitchen was fully stocked, and the coffee bar was nice addition since we all enjoy a “cup of brew.” Also, it was close proximity to Calera, Jemison, and Thorsby. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Beautiful scenery, quiet, and peaceful. The cottage was whimsical and had just what we needed to feel at home. The managers of the property were helpful, super friendly, and make checking in/out a breeze. You won't be disappointed! We will be back, and hopefully soon!

My husband and I were looking for a quiet getaway for the two of us when I found this property. We were in town for a graduation. This cabin was absolutely perfect for us! Close to shopping food and some really great places to see! I definitely plan to visit again soon!
