Staff when we arrived was good but the second day the guy that was there was aloof, Valet was MIA for quite a while, etc. Third year in a row I stayed there but next time going to Reed House.

I booked The Kenley Hotel for Valentine’s Day night through Expedia. Parking was valet-only, and while the pricing was reasonable, the initial wait times to have my car taken and returned were longer than expected. The valet attendants appeared to be very young, which made me somewhat uncomfortable turning my vehicle over to them. I would have preferred a self-parking option. Check-in and checkout were both underwhelming. The front desk staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming, which set a disappointing tone for the stay. On a positive note, the room itself was a pleasant surprise. We booked a king room and were placed in Room 206, which faces Market Street on the corner nearest the Chattanooga Choo-Choo. The room was average in size but very nicely designed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the space was clean, modern, and well integrated. However, there were supposed to be two robes in the closet, and only one was provided. There were ice machines located on the second and fourth floors. Unfortunately, the key card would only allow elevator access to the floor where your room was located. While I understand this may be for security purposes, it made accessing ice inconvenient. The ice machine on the second floor was also out of order during our stay, so I had to use the stairs to reach the fourth floor. It was unclear why stair access was allowed between floors, but elevator access was restr

The hotel is quaint and modern which we like, however its 1am & due to the room street being the street location, you won't get much sleep. Sirens all night and noisy cars.Very nice staff but wish they would have advised/warned us about the outside noise. Save your money and skip the valet parking and park directly across the street at the covered parking deck. That is where this hotel parks your car. Also, the room vents and shelves need dusting.
