This is our 2nd year staying at this location. It works perfectly for my family of 4 and my parents. We love the back yard area for games and relaxing. We love the central location for small trips to Ferndale, Trinidad, Arcata for the Humboldt Crabs games, the Sequoia Zoo and heading downtown for the Friday Night Market.

Our family had a great time staying in this cottage. Zanobi has thought through everything and the cottage is very well stocked! She even had some toys for kiddos! It was very easy to reach to Zanobi and she was very quick to response. We would definitely love to stay here again when we are in the area again!

The house was clean, up to date, and had plenty of room for 7 of us. We had adults, 2 teens and an infant. The back yard was great for the kids to play and plenty of room for everyone to relax. Very nice, clean, and quiet home. This is perfect for family and friends, especially for extended stays. Was up in the area on business during a rainy/snowing winter month and it was warm and cozy. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. I would stay here again.

The home is immaculately maintained and is exceptionally clean in a quiet neighborhood with on and off street parking. It is centrally located to Historic Downtown, the Zoo. Winco (Grocery Store) and Ferndale, a 30 minute drive away. I would definitely stay here again.

This was one of the best vacation rental we’ve stayed at. It was so clean and had everything we needed. It was located in a nice quiet neighborhood with easy access to all the things we wanted to see. The host was quick to respond and was very gracious. When my wife and I opened the door the first word out of our mouth was WOW. The pictures of the property are accurate but place is much nicer than the pictures. The place was very clean and well maintained. Master bed was comfortable. We had zeros issues with anything. I would stay again if we're ever back in the area. Very nice. Thanks

The house was perfect!!! It was very clean and felt cozy. Neighborhood was calm and quiet. So much so that deer were strolling down the street!! Our host, Zanobi, was so kind and responded to ALL my questions and concerns. And while on our way back home he texted to let us know we forgot our laptop! He offered to ship it back (we’re definitely reimbursing him for it) without hesitation. We appreciated his honesty in letting us know. I highly recommend this place. It was very easy to get to and everything seems to be within driving distance 3-5 min away!!! Only a few minutes from Sequoia Park Zoo. I would definitely stay here next time we’re in town. Thank you Zanobi!!!

We went to Eureka to visit friends who live in the area. The kids were able to play in the large, very private fenced backyard. It was great for the dogs too. The neighborhood is quiet and close enough to grocery shopping, the zoo and downtown to be convenient. We had a great visit!

Very clean and neat property. It was perfect for us and our puppy. Convenient to 101 for going to local sites and tourist attractions as well as necessities like grocery stores, etc.

Spruce Cottage offered adequate space for four adults, a 15 year old and an almost 4 year old. The large backyard was wonderful to relax in while the kids ran around. We used this place as a home base for a few days exploring the Redwoods parks and surrounding area. The neighborhood is a bit off the beaten path, so not really a lot to do within walking distance, but it was quiet and we could easily drive to various attractions. The kitchen is well-equipped and we had space for all six of us to sit down together for dinners. Communication with the host was great. Zanobi was quick to respond, and all house rules were very clear. All in all, a great stay. If we return to Eureka, we would stay here again.

The home is immaculately maintained and is exceptionally clean in a quiet neighborhood with on and off street parking. It is centrally located to Historic Downtown, the Zoo. Winco (Grocery Store) and Ferndale, a 30 minute drive away. I would definitely stay here again.

This was one of the best vacation rental we’ve stayed at. It was so clean and had everything we needed. It was located in a nice quiet neighborhood with easy access to all the things we wanted to see. The host was quick to respond and was very gracious. We would definitely rent again if we visit this area in the future.

Our family had a wonderful stay in the Spruce Cottage. It was probably one of the best VRBOs we've ever stayed in. It was exceptionally clean, well stocked and close to everything in Eureka. The check in process was very easy and the host was a great communicator. The beds and pillows were extremely comfy and the backyard was great for kids to play in. Overall, a wonderful stay!

We stayed at this property while visiting with our grandchildren. It was just like being home! Warm, comfortable, clean and everything we needed to make our stay just right. It is conveniently located to grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, gas stations, and the zoo. We’d stay here again and recommend it to others.

This property was in a lovely neighborhood location. The house was beautifully equipped for our family of 5 (parents and 3 kids in their 20s). We found everything we needed in the kitchen, the beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms clean and well appointed, and we loved sitting on the deck in the lovely yard. There was a laundry facility off the kitchen that was very nice but we didn't use. Everything in the house looked fresh and clean. We were in Eureka to attend my Mom's Celebration of Life and this lovely house was ideal for our needs.
