We had our annual friends weekend away & Chelsi’s house was the perfect setting for it all! So spacious, there was a room for everyone to do just what they wanted! Pool, hot tub & sauna was a fun added bonus! The theater room was great for the guys who wanted to hang there! Kitchen was really well stocked & had so much room for us all to gather. Beds were comfy & all the linens were cozy too! We had a great time & hope to come back! Thanks Chelsi!

We wanted a place where friends and family could stay before our vow renewal. The house was wonderful and the host was amazing! We didn't get to do much exploring outside due to rain, but we had plenty to do with the indoor pool. Looking forward to staying again!

This historic but beautifully updated property features lovely wooded grounds, a pond full of water lilies, an indoor pool, entertainment room, ping pong table, outdoor grill and patio, a beautiful kitchen, and several rooms for gathering. I gave this weekend to my family as a Christmas gift. Each year we go away together as my gift to them. This home was a perfect spot for our group. Adults could enjoy games in the spacious kitchen while children enjoyed the theater or karaoke in the other end of the spacious house. The indoor pool was fabulous and many memories were made over the weekend. Highly recommend for your family adventures.

Stayed here with multiple families for a wedding at Wentworth by the Sea - let me just say, the house was perfect for us. We had 6 or 7 couples and 5 young kids, and 2 older. It was a great house for everyone to spread out and have there own spaces but also be able to come together. The pool, yard, and kitchen were enjoyed immensely and I think everyone (kids and adults) will be talking about the games of hide and seek we played here for years to come. An old house like this has lots of great hiding places. However, it is that - an old house. And you just need to know and be okay with what comes with that, some stuff doesn\'t always work quite right and isn\'t always what I would call "luxurious". The host was always very responsive when anything came up; however, my only other note is that the house comes with a LOT of instructions. This became intimidating and ultimately made it harder to garner was or wasn\'t really important. Overall, a great house to enjoy with multiple families but just be aware that it is an old house and has had some Vrbo wear-and-tear miles put on it.

The house and grounds are beautiful, especially if you appreciate old historic houses. Issues did arise ut Chelsi responded very quickly. The kitchen is modern w room for lots of cooks. We made use of most of the amenities -pool, sauna, theater room. Location is great- near beach and rail trail, and short distance to rye, Portsmouth, kittery . It worked perfectly for our college roommate reunion.

The house had exactly what we were looking for - enough space in the kitchen, dining, and living rooms for us to spend time together, and enough space for us to spread out and enjoy some alone time, too. If we had questions or needed anything, Chelsi was easy to get in touch with and very responsive. Chelsi wanted to come by a couple of times to pick up packages that had been delivered, and she asked if this was okay and waited until I replied before coming by. This must be a very popular rental property that gets a lot of use, so some of the furniture is well-loved and some of it has been switched out since the listing photos were taken (stools in the kitchen, couch in one living room, fridge, manual pool cover). Kitchen easily feeds 10 people with 3 different seating options for meals and plenty of grazing room. Home owner thinks of this rental as her home not as a vacation rental. She entered the house at 5pm on Saturday night to spy on our evening. She did not respect our privacy by entering the house on Saturday for an extended period of time. She is going to claim we had a party but that is an inaccurate depiction. We had 19 people staying at her rental vrbo that is listed for 24 guests. So we had less than the allowed number of guests. She is looking for renters to pay for her routine maintenance. She is trying to claim that the diving board was damaged by our group but we have proof in photos taken upon our arrival that the diving board was damaged before we arrived and appears to be well past its useful life. Probably 20 years since it was first installed. Useful life appears to be 7-10 years based on top manufacturers warranty. Homeowner has no photos of the condition before we arrived/after last renters. If she wants to try and claim this she should provide photos of the condition before we arrived, the date of install, the manufacturers warranty and product data, Luckily we have a photos from when we arrived at the house showing clearly the board is damaged and leaning forward vs. the photos from the listing that show the board as level. You invaded our privacy. One bathroom was completely unusable with 1 day warning and no discount given. Master bath tub not useable but advertised in her photos. Owner should not rent their house if you do not want people to use it.

My four adult kids, spouses and 10 grandkids had the best Christmas of our lives at this wonderful property. Kids never wanted to get out if the pool of course! Chelsi was very helpful and responsive throughout. There were beautiful Christmas decorations up throughout. It was spacious, clean, convenient in every way. 4 families gathered for a reunion of working together over 40 years ago in italy. The house a little bit of a dissappointment. Patrs were very old and had been built on over the years. Many light bulbs did not work, tv remote controllers dod not operate. Windows, sidings and paint work were in need of repair. Two back bedrooms could only be accessed via the garage or by going through someone elses bedroom. Bbq grill was a disgrace but was replaced after a phone call. Did not realise that we needed to strip the beds and remove all the trash. Although there were 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms only 3 were en-suite. General cleanliness could have been improved.

We had our whole family stay under one roof which was amazing. There was something for everyone, space for everyone and close to the ocean. Great memories were made.

Had a great weekend stay in North Hampton. The house was spacious and well appointed. The indoor pool was wonderful especially on a particularly rainy day. The bedrooms were especially spacious, and there was plenty of space throughout the house for everyone to spread out. The house is in a great location near shopping, restaurants, and mini-golf.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming farmhouse. It has everything you could possibly need. The house is huge with more than enough room to spread out. The kids had a blast in the pool, and playing hide and seek. Chelsi was extremely thorough and informative. She sent a few videos prior to explain things which was awesome to be able to refer to and limit the need to contact her throughout our stay.. which we didn’t need to at all. The only thing I might suggest is if you have small children, bring a couple baby gates to block off the kitchen which extends into multiple rooms and a few stair cases. (Assuming Chelsi is ok with that). Luckily our kids were old enough this wasn’t an issue. They had so much fun hiding and exploring. She also has a bedroom with puzzles, a play kitchen and toys for the kids! This was a big hit! Don’t listen to the very few negative reviews here. The house is literally perfect. It’s old, but still aesthetically pleasing and homey. There is a washer and dryer on sight with a closet full of cleaning products. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook… And perfect for cooking large meals. Two ovens, stove top, a toaster, a microwave, coffee pot and I believe an espresso machine. We stayed when the temps were in the negative and the house was still very warm. We can’t say enough good things! We are already trying to plan another weekend next year assuming Chelsi will have us back ;)

This is a charming 400-year-old farmhouse that has been well-loved and is perfect for hosting large get togethers. While it has been updated over the years, most of the original layout remains intact. There are lots of rules, but none are unreasonable, and there is a lot to know simply because it is a very large, historic home. This house feels warm and welcoming. It has tons of windows offering lots of light and lovely views from every room. There are six bedrooms upstairs, and the room off the pool that contains the sauna has a connecting bath and can be used as a bedroom (trundle). There are pull out sofas in some of bedrooms, and the study and family room downstairs. The layout is unique and fun to explore. Access to downstairs from a couple of bedrooms while others are still sleeping required a little figuring out but we found our way -- part of the charm of an older house! The beds by all accounts were very comfortable. The master has a newly renovated bath that can be shared, with three others upstairs positioned nicely so that none are overloaded. Although temps were in the teens while we were there, the house was warm and cozy with thermostats set at only 65-67. The kitchen was our favorite hang out spot and plenty big enough for our group of 17, but there are so many other spaces to spread out too. And of course, there's the pool! We just stayed over the kids school vacation. Kids ages ranged 11months - 17. The kids and adults loved the pool. The sauna was hot! All the space allowed the kids to hang out in one living room or theater room and adults in the kitchen or other living room area. Tons of rooms, pull out sofas, and bathrooms! The check in and check out process was clearly laid out and was all the basic stuff I think you would do when respectfully staying at anyone’s property. The owner was attentive and answered any questions I had. Kitchen had everything needed to cook and eat with. Grill and propane provided. The linen and towels were all supplied along with pool towels. Washer and dryer available to use. A lot of parking spots available. Close drive to grocery store and other stores. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

With only five adults and two children onboard, this spacious, stately farmhouse offered an abundant week of adventure, relaxation, and good-feeling. Whether it was the wonderful indoor pool, quick, easy access to charming North Beach, or enjoying many comfortable indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, we all made the most of our time together. In spite of feeling nestled in a private wooded oasis, we were just a few minutes drive to every imaginable restaurant, attraction, and historic site. Beautiful location. Chelsi was a very responsive host, in particular when we needed help with TV connectivity following an electrical storm. We all had fun, ages 7 to 73.

At times it felt like a lot of rules to keep track of, and I was a bit anxious my guests or I would do something "wrong." In the end, we worked hard to keep the place clean, enjoyed our time together, and had a great weekend!

We just stayed over the kids school vacation. Kids ages ranged 11months - 17. The kids and adults loved the pool. The sauna was hot! All the space allowed the kids to hang out in one living room or theater room and adults in the kitchen or other living room area. Tons of rooms, pull out sofas, and bathrooms! The check in and check out process was clearly laid out and was all the basic stuff I think you would do when respectfully staying at anyone’s property. The owner was attentive and answered any questions I had. Kitchen had everything needed to cook and eat with. Grill and propane provided. The linen and towels were all supplied along with pool towels. Washer and dryer available to use. A lot of parking spots available. Close drive to grocery store and other stores. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Celebrating college graduation at UNH. Easy distance to commencement and packing but close to the ocean to enjoy down time and relaxing together. Kitchen easily feeds 10 people with 3 different seating options for meals and plenty of grazing room. Indoor pool is lovely and warm, sauna was hot and easy to use. 4 staircases and 6 bedrooms many with pullout couches in addition to the comfy beds. We had a great reunion. Would love to return.

We had our annual friends weekend away & Chelsi’s house was the perfect setting for it all! So spacious, there was a room for everyone to do just what they wanted! Pool, hot tub & sauna was a fun added bonus! The theater room was great for the guys who wanted to hang there! Kitchen was really well stocked & had so much room for us all to gather. Beds were comfy & all the linens were cozy too! We had a great time & hope to come back! Thanks Chelsi!

We had a wonderful family vacation at this property in July 2023. The house was perfect, with plenty of rooms and flexible room configurations for everyone in my extended family to be comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked, and there were plenty of places to eat and gather together. Air conditioners in every room kept the place cool and comfortable even as the temperature outside rose. The kids enjoyed running around in the huge, well-kept yard, lounging in the TV room, and swimming in the clean and heated indoor pool. The location was also perfect for us - easy access to North Hampton, Rye, and Wallis Sands beaches, and Odiorne tide pools and park. The host provided ample information about the property, and was responsive to any questions. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

I gave this weekend to my family as a Christmas gift. Each year we go away together as my gift to them. This home was a perfect spot for our group. Adults could enjoy games in the spacious kitchen while children enjoyed the theater or karaoke in the other end of the spacious house. The indoor pool was fabulous and many memories were made over the weekend. Highly recommend for your family adventures.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming farmhouse. It has everything you could possibly need. The house is huge with more than enough room to spread out. The kids had a blast in the pool, and playing hide and seek. Chelsi was extremely thorough and informative. She sent a few videos prior to explain things which was awesome to be able to refer to and limit the need to contact her throughout our stay.. which we didn’t need to at all. The only thing I might suggest is if you have small children, bring a couple baby gates to block off the kitchen which extends into multiple rooms and a few stair cases. (Assuming Chelsi is ok with that). Luckily our kids were old enough this wasn’t an issue. They had so much fun hiding and exploring. She also has a bedroom with puzzles, a play kitchen and toys for the kids! This was a big hit! Don’t listen to the very few negative reviews here. The house is literally perfect. It’s old, but still aesthetically pleasing and homey. There is a washer and dryer on sight with a closet full of cleaning products. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook… And perfect for cooking large meals. Two ovens, stove top, a toaster, a microwave, coffee pot and I believe an espresso machine. We stayed when the temps were in the negative and the house was still very warm. We can’t say enough good things! We are already trying to plan another weekend next year assuming Chelsi will have us back ;)

Stayed here with multiple families for a wedding at Wentworth by the Sea - let me just say, the house was perfect for us. We had 6 or 7 couples and 5 young kids, and 2 older. It was a great house for everyone to spread out and have there own spaces but also be able to come together. The pool, yard, and kitchen were enjoyed immensely and I think everyone (kids and adults) will be talking about the games of hide and seek we played here for years to come. An old house like this has lots of great hiding places. However, it is that - an old house. And you just need to know and be okay with what comes with that, some stuff doesn\'t always work quite right and isn\'t always what I would call "luxurious". The host was always very responsive when anything came up; however, my only other note is that the house comes with a LOT of instructions. This became intimidating and ultimately made it harder to garner was or wasn\'t really important. Overall, a great house to enjoy with multiple families but just be aware that it is an old house and has had some Vrbo wear-and-tear miles put on it.

Large home. Plenty of beds for all. Ample linens and towels. Lots of spaces so everyone could spread out or gather as desired. Short ride to beach. Beautiful property. Outdoor chair cushions were wet. Dishwasher was pretty disgusting. Plenty of kitchen equipment but pots were rather dirty. Bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed. Would definitely return if kitchen appliances and pans were updated.

We had a wonderful family weekend at this property! My siblings and our families brought our parents here for their 80th birthday. The house was a wonderful combination of the character of the old house with modern touches. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a nice dinner and gather. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of room. The pool was a big hit with the kids and adults. The grounds were beautiful with walking trails, a pond and beautiful outside seating areas. Can't say enough great things about our stay here. The host was extremely quick in her responses and communication was excellent! Definitely would recommend.

Our group of 8 adults loved our 3-night stay here. The house had exactly what we were looking for - enough space in the kitchen, dining, and living rooms for us to spend time together, and enough space for us to spread out and enjoy some alone time, too. We enjoyed using the pool and walking around the yard. We visited Throwback Brewery (~5 min away) and had GREAT food, cocktails, and beer! If we had questions or needed anything, Chelsi was easy to get in touch with and very responsive. Chelsi wanted to come by a couple of times to pick up packages that had been delivered, and she asked if this was okay and waited until I replied before coming by. This must be a very popular rental property that gets a lot of use, so some of the furniture is well-loved and some of it has been switched out since the listing photos were taken (stools in the kitchen, couch in one living room, fridge, manual pool cover). Generally, this didn't impact our stay. The white reclining chairs in the tv room near the pool are very worn and the leather is flaking, so we opted to watch tv in the other living rooms instead. As Chelsi states in the listing description, she has a lot of strict house rules. She sent them to me in advance and provided a printed copy at check-in.
