Cozy Cottage near Pinecrest/Dodge Ridge **WiFi**

Comfortable and clean. Easy directions to find. Host reachable by text/phone. Kitchen fully stocked with pots, pans appliances. Overall, nice spot. Wish we could have stayed longer.

You can tell a lot of love has gone into it. Big kitchen with gas stove. Room for 2-3 working the kitchen at one time. I guess my only complaint is we had a hard time getting into the driveway with 2 feet of snow and icy conditions. I would definitely recommend it.

This was a nice little cabin for our first trip out to dodgeridge for skiing. Overall it was a nice cozy cabin for a family of 4. Everything seemed nice a tidy when we arrived. The host was very responsive to our questions and requests. We couldn't get the fireplace to work even with his instructions but the central heating kept the house nice and warm. Just would have been nice for the kids who wanted it on. When we asked for additional paper towels since there was only a third of a roll in the housethe host was able to have someone drop some off for us while we were out. Cell reception was horrible/nonexistent for Verizon. So you would need to rely on the wifi, which for one night was not working. The internet would come on for 2 minutes with "low bandwidth" and then have no internet and then come back for 1 minutes and go down again. Luckily we had downloaded a bunch of videos for the kids for the roadtrip and they had dvds. It just made it hard researching the area for additional things to do while we were at the cabin. The drive way was a little hard to get in and out of since our SUV would scrap going in and out no matter which angle we tried each time arriving and leaving the cabin. Alot of it had to do to the heavy river of water from melting snow coming down the road in front of the cabin wearing away at the ground right in front of the driveway. All and all I would say my family really enjoyed our time at this little cabin.

The host was exceptional at communicating - they provided clear directions, check-in instructions, and were quick to respond to any questions we had about the property. The cottage was perfectly sized for our family and very comfortable. Our kids absolutely loved the Nintendo system, which kept them entertained during downtime. The location was ideal for our mountain activities - super convenient to both Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, making it easy to enjoy both summer and winter recreation. The property was spotlessly clean and truly lived up to its "cosy" name. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for cooking family meals. Having a functional kitchen saved us money on dining out and allowed us to enjoy home-cooked meals together. Overall, this cottage provided everything we needed for a comfortable mountain getaway. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other families looking for a convenient, well-maintained home base for exploring the area.

Cute place, nicely decorated and uncluttered. Very clean. My colleague and I were using this as a working retreat but the Wifi is slow and the only way to prevent netflix from freezing was to have both our laptops closed. Small things missing ie no hand soap in the kitchen, no kleenex/tissue anywhere to be found, no trash bag in kitchen waste basket (didn't realize until after we put garbage in it and then had to transfer into the single bag we found under the sink). The gas stove first burner dial is a safety hazard. All markings have been rubbed off and it freely spins/turns around. We thought it was off indicated by the worn F left on the dial. Kept smelling gas. We lit the back burner which automatically lit the front left one, which meant it was still putting out gas. Turned knob about an inch past the F for the flame to go out. We had to open windows and doors to vent. Knob/stove should be replaced. My colleague needs to be near a bathroom during the night so she slept on the couch since there isn't one upstairs. Steps going upstairs are very shallow, a but precarious going up and down. Sitting in the living room on the couch, we had to reposition the tv stand so we could view from the couch. To solve this problem, mount it to wall with the ability to pull it out and swivel or mount above the fireplace. The bed upstairs was comfortable. Because of the issues mentioned, we'll try a different place next time. Communication was great though and no issues getting the key.

Nice property, easy to access, good communication. I thought the listing said three bedrooms but was only two - no biggie however as was fine for us. Also a little crammed housing tract with other cabins pretty close, but for overnight was great.

What a sweet getaway! Little blue cabin was cozy, cute, in a nice location for walks and short trip to Pinecrest Lake. Ammenities were perfect, and host was responsive, even delivered a roll of toilet paper. We could not figure out fire place, and the remotes for tv needed new batteries, but I am sure our host would have helped us with those things had we asked. We would happily return.

We had a short but great stay at this peaceful cabin. It had all of the conveniences of home. It was very comfortable and quiet. A short drive from Dodge Ridge. My son loves the Nintendo system. Would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the mornings. After hiking during the day we had fun picking a movie from the DVD collection and relaxing in the evenings. It was also nice to have the washer/dryer available.

Other than the difficult and torn up road down to the property, this place is absolutely perfect. Clean, updated, and family oriented

My husband, kids (ages 11 and 8) stayed here and absolutely loved it. The cabin was so clean, nicely decorated, super cozy, had comfortable beds and was just the cutest little place. We only stayed one night because we just wanted a place close to Dodge to ski, but we could have happily stayed a week. It was the perfect spot for enjoying a movie night on the comfy couch and oversized chairs, a kitchen the was plenty big enough and well stocked, a terrific heating system that warmed up the house nicely, and a quiet neighborhood, too. The washer and dryer were nice to help clean/dry the kids' ski pants and gloves in between playing outside and hitting the mountain. The kids loved their room and all the beds were comfy. We would love to return. Thank you!

The cabin is centrally located and a short drive to Dodge Ridge ski resort! Downstairs is clean and comfortable but upstairs needs a lot of TLC. Beds and bedding are old, the carpet is really old and dirty and the two upstairs rooms are very uncomfortable. The pot and pans in the kitchen really need to be replaced as well.

This place has lots of potential and is decorated very cute and cozy! The location was great but it was in need of a deep cleaning. Overall it met our needs.

The cabin was cozy and picked up I’m not sure folks had stayed there recently. The cabinets in the kitchen had a thick layer of dust and one of the chairs - cute was very dirty. Most of the VRBOS I have stayed in have available spices for cooking, but there is nothing available at this location. The owners were polite and responsive. The home is convenient and close to Pinecrest and other outdoor venues. Great for a short stay.

My daughter an I stayed for 2 nights on a short ski trip to Dodge ridge. The cabin was a perfect base for us. Not too far from the mountain (but not the closest one we've stayed at,) comfortable beds, and just the right amount of amenities. more than 4 people would be stretching the comfort, but perfect for 2-4.

Very well decorated inside. Nice and cozy. Wanted to rest and relax and we did just that. Loved all the birds around the property. Owner communicated great with us.

Snow was half way up windows upon arrival, which lead to incredible skiing. Ingrid the housekeeper helped me dig parking space and path to cabin. Cabin is very comfortable and cozy. Highly recommend a stay amoung the big trees.
