The house was clean and comfortable and suited our needs well. We used the house for our son & daughter in law’s wedding day prep. There was plenty of space to accommodate the bride and her attendants upstairs for hair and makeup and the groom and his attendants in the lower level where it was convenient to make breakfast sandwiches in the patio grill. Beds were comfortable. Nice quiet neighborhood with a great location.

This is a beautiful house in a serene, peaceful neighborhood close to amenities. It was the perfect rental for our large group to decompress while we put on a wedding at a nearby venue for my son. We especially enjoyed the wildlife in the area.

It speaks for itself that we chose to stay a second time at this Vrbo in Minnetonka. The rooms are quite comfortable, clean and spacious and the setting overlooking the wetlands is idyllic. The location gave us easy access to whatever direction we were taking for the days activities. Our host was available for the couple questions we had. The Heavenly Home in Minnetonka suited our needs well.

It was an awesome time with friends the stay was great there are wild turkeys that do their patrols its great looking outside and the view. Would highkey recommend this location for any event.

We enjoyed our time there as we celebrated our son’s wedding near by. The beds are very comfortable. Plenty of towels and hangers in the closet. We ate most of our meals there. I loved having the upstairs and downstairs because it gave guests privacy. The back yard is stunning with a view of lush trees. Definitely recommend staying there. The host answered questions immediately as well.
We enjoyed our time there as we celebrated our son’s wedding near by. The beds are very comfortable. Plenty of towels and hangers in the closet. We ate most of our meals there. I loved having the upstairs and downstairs because it gave guests privacy. The back yard is stunning with a view of lush trees. Definitely recommend staying there. The host answered questions immediately as well.

We rented this home for a ladies weekend and it was just perfect. There were 6 of us and we each had our own bed which was perfect. Lots of fridge space which is nice as well. The location is awesome just 5 minutes from downtown Excelsior (brewery, spas, shopping, nail salons, cute coffee shops, and lot of restaurant options). The backyard is beautiful and private. There’s even a Starbucks just at the end of the street. Thanks for being so great to work with!!

We so enjoyed our stay in this nicely remodeled and spacious home; there were windows all around to let in light and allowed us to enjoy the beautiful views of the wetlands and the charming neighborhood. The neighbors were friendly and the setting was calm and peaceful. We even saw a buck walking down the street. One evening we had dinner on the deck and the next day enjoyed watching the rain and snow. Our friend from California loved it. There was plenty of room for all of us to gather or have our own space. As we cooked our meals together we had an issue with the disposal and the host was able to come in short order and fix it. The location was close to fun shopping, great places for lunch and a 20+ minute drive to the airport. All in all a good place for a gathering of friends.

Because there was no a/c/ventilation at all downstairs, the two bedrooms there as well as the bath and family room, smelled musty and felt stuffy. After a hot first night, we found dirty screens in a storage area and installed them, but for a typical Minneapolis summer night, they would not have kept the rooms cool. Many things needed replacing or fixing: rusted baseboards, porch railings with nails popping up, stained living room couch, unfinished closets, and the dated decor downstairs. For the price we paid, we felt this was the worst property we have ever rented.

Just a short drive to the lake, restaurants and shops. The house is nicely updated for the most part. Bathrooms are somewhat dated but clean. Accurate to descriptions. Beds were comfortable. The experience overall was good. I wish I could give the property a 4.5. Had to take some points off because the property management company or owners need to complete a check prior to guests arriving. There was a thick layer of ice covering entire driveway, walkway, and steps. Very difficult to get inside and very dangerous. The breaker was tripped in the kitchen so lights did not work; however, they responded and this was resolved within 2 hours. We had to flip the breaker (which was hard to find). The main living room could use more seating to accommodate large groups. Otherwise, all was good. I would stay again.

The location of the house is awesome and the house would have been wonderful but we had severe water leaks during our stay. The owner was unable to get anyone out to address the leaks during our stay so we were forced to deal with walking through steady drips from the doorways on 2 bedrooms, The main hallway and dripping through to the downstairs as well. The carpets in 2 bedrooms were soaked and the wood floor warping. We remediated with towels and buckets as best we could, but that resulted in us having to constantly swap out towels, run laundry, and avoid two of the 4 bedrooms. It was obvious there was previous water damage in the house as in numerous places the paint had been touched up or walls patched where there was significant water. Given its location in a marshy area- I’d be very concerned with mold for any vulnerable guests. While we had extensive water issues- they let us know there was another guest checking in at 4pm of our checkout. Not leaving enough time to fix or address any of the issues we experienced. We were staying for the days leading up to our wedding so we didn’t have an option to pack up and move- I’ve been trying to work with the host and VRBO since the stay and they haven’t been reasonable with trying to make it right or provide a discount for the time we spent caring for their property.This house could be great, but I fear the owner is sweeping these water issues under the rug and isn’t offering a safe stay.

I needed a Vrbo rental for a funeral this past week. This location was ideal and the bedrooms were able to accommodate the three families for a few days just fine. There were thermostats for both floors to adjust the temperature. We were able to get the upstairs to an ideal temperature for everyone, but the basement was a bit cooler. I will caveat that with the temperatures outside being in the negatives. Overall the beds were very comfortable and we had enough space to talk and the kids had space to play.

The bedrooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, house is lovely and in a good, safe neighborhood. Maybe one more easy chair (or another small love seat) in the living area upstairs would allow for more seating as we enjoyed being upstairs so we were close to the kitchen. Easy to get to shopping and restaurants. For a house that sleeps 12, the kitchen needs to have more silverware and dishes (especially bowls for soup) that would cover that many people. Wash cloths and maybe a couple of extra towels in the bathrooms would be nice to have on hand.

Girls weekend of shopping and socializing, was nice to all be in one house versus multiple hotel rooms. The location was residential but very close to Eden Prairie Center shopping mall, Chanhassen Theatre and restaurants. Communication with property manager/owner was very attentive with quick response. Overall great stay for what we needed!

Had to take some points off because the property management company or owners need to complete a check prior to guests arriving. There was a thick layer of ice covering entire driveway, walkway, and steps. Very difficult to get inside and very dangerous. The breaker was tripped in the kitchen so lights did not work; however, they responded and this was resolved within 2 hours. We had to flip the breaker (which was hard to find). The main living room could use more seating to accommodate large groups. Otherwise, all was good. I would stay again.

We so enjoyed our stay in this nicely remodeled and spacious home; there were windows all around to let in light and allowed us to enjoy the beautiful views of the wetlands and the charming neighborhood. The neighbors were friendly and the setting was calm and peaceful. We even saw a buck walking down the street. One evening we had dinner on the deck and the next day enjoyed watching the rain and snow. Our friend from California loved it. There was plenty of room for all of us to gather or have our own space. As we cooked our meals together we had an issue with the disposal and the host was able to come in short order and fix it. The location was close to fun shopping, great places for lunch and a 20+ minute drive to the airport. All in all a good place for a gathering of friends.

The location of the house is awesome and the house would have been wonderful but we had severe water leaks during our stay. The owner was unable to get anyone out to address the leaks during our stay so we were forced to deal with walking through steady drips from the doorways on 2 bedrooms, The main hallway and dripping through to the downstairs as well. The carpets in 2 bedrooms were soaked and the wood floor warping. We remediated with towels and buckets as best we could, but that resulted in us having to constantly swap out towels, run laundry, and avoid two of the 4 bedrooms. It was obvious there was previous water damage in the house as in numerous places the paint had been touched up or walls patched where there was significant water. Given its location in a marshy area- I’d be very concerned with mold for any vulnerable guests. While we had extensive water issues- they let us know there was another guest checking in at 4pm of our checkout. Not leaving enough time to fix or address any of the issues we experienced. We were staying for the days leading up to our wedding so we didn’t have an option to pack up and move- I’ve been trying to work with the host and VRBO since the stay and they haven’t been reasonable with trying to make it right or provide a discount for the time we spent caring for their property.This house could be great, but I fear the owner is sweeping these water issues under the rug and isn’t offering a safe stay.

However, the house needs work: the screen door and the upstairs shower handle were both broken. The power in the kitchen and bathroom stopped working and the GFCI had to be fixed, so one of us had to stay home for the electrician and move the food out of the fridge to the one downstairs. The downstairs toilet was leaking and we stayed home for that to be fixed too. After all that we saw the ceiling of the laundry room was leaking as well - we told the plumber while he was there but that would have been a larger fix so we dealt with it. This is a beautiful house in a serene, peaceful neighborhood close to amenities. It was the perfect rental for our large group to decompress while we put on a wedding at a nearby venue for my son. We especially enjoyed the wildlife in the area.

It speaks for itself that we chose to stay a second time at this Vrbo in Minnetonka. The rooms are quite comfortable, clean and spacious and the setting overlooking the wetlands is idyllic. The location gave us easy access to whatever direction we were taking for the days activities. Our host was available for the couple questions we had. The Heavenly Home in Minnetonka suited our needs well.

We rented this home for a ladies weekend and it was just perfect. There were 6 of us and we each had our own bed which was perfect. Lots of fridge space which is nice as well. The location is awesome just 5 minutes from downtown Excelsior (brewery, spas, shopping, nail salons, cute coffee shops, and lot of restaurant options). The backyard is beautiful and private. There’s even a Starbucks just at the end of the street. Thanks for being so great to work with!!

The bedrooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, house is lovely and in a good, safe neighborhood. Maybe one more easy chair (or another small love seat) in the living area upstairs would allow for more seating as we enjoyed being upstairs so we were close to the kitchen. Easy to get to shopping and restaurants. For a house that sleeps 12, the kitchen needs to have more silverware and dishes (especially bowls for soup) that would cover that many people. There was plenty of space to accommodate the bride and her attendants upstairs for hair and makeup and the groom and his attendants in the lower level where it was convenient to make breakfast sandwiches in the patio grill. Beds were comfortable. Nice quiet neighborhood with a great location.

We enjoyed our time there as we celebrated our son’s wedding near by. The beds are very comfortable. Plenty of towels and hangers in the closet. We ate most of our meals there. I loved having the upstairs and downstairs because it gave guests privacy. The back yard is stunning with a view of lush trees. Definitely recommend staying there. The host answered questions immediately as well.
