This property has to improve their electronic key system. The keys we had for our room somehow got deactivated 4 or 5 times and had to go down to the the reception desk to get them acticated; which was annoying. The other that was annoying was that there was only one elevator, which was inconvenient to guests who were on the other side of the hotel especially when you had luggage

Parking is extremely limited! Also apparently children need to have ID, even a 1 year old. They take a copy of your passport and don't give the copy back to you. The room was nice, the bathroom wall though, is fogged glass so when you are in the room, you can see the silhouette of the other person in the shower. I didn't like it since i was there with family, not an intimate partner. The bed was comfortable, big TV. We did have to go down to check in to get the password for WiFi. It.was nowhere in the room posted, or outside and also not on our key card. We called the front desk 3 times and nobody answered, so we went downstairs to ask.

The staff made the stay perfect. Grounds and rooms were kept immaculately. The restaurant on site can be busy but the servers were very attentive nonetheless. The kiddy play space, gym and yoga studio were great amenities to have. This hotel although not on the beach, has easy access to the beach. We were able to do multiple day trips to different beaches with cabs a plenty. Great stay, will come again.

Salt water pool is a very good part of this hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast, a variety of healthy and tasty food specially the chef makes your own choice of omelettes. It starts from 7 to 11, which is very good timing for both early risers and late risers . Everyday one free dessert or appetizer is also interesting. Free car parking is useful.

The staff wwre fantastic..Extremly helpful and friendly. The only problem I see with the property is the beach.It is much to small and crowded. I understand that space is limited, but the current situation is pretty rough.

Extremely dirty, unkept, bird feces all over the pool chairs with no covers, room smelled like pure sewage and mold, they had a dehumidifier in the room that we were emptying every 2-4 hrs even in the middle of the night when it woke up my kids. Then come to find out there were “scent smelling cans” under the beds and hidden in the room. Aware of the problem and not fixing the root is a huge issue!

Staff were very friendly and always helpful, also everything is updated and appears new. Breakfast was amazing with decent options. Only downside was getting house keeping to clean my room, I had to ask everyday for someone to come and clean. The location is fine but like 2 blocks walking to the where everything is located. The beach shuttle was great for a hotel not being on the beach and having access to the beach so easily. I do wish checking in staff were a little more detailed on all the amenities the hotel offer. Note there is a lot of construction happening in the area so some road closures if your driving but didn’t effect walking or my stay at the hotel.

I would never go back to this property again! Iguanas all over the pool and outdoor eating area. Room smelled like sewage. Hard to understand staff. Drinks and food extremely expensive. We even got charged for sewer and water! We spent a lot of money too!!

The hotel was nice and very clean. We had to ask the staff to have our room cleaned everyday, but I think the room would be cleaned every other day. The staff was more than willing to submit the quest for us! The front desk staff, Liandro, Marvin and the wonderful ladies went above and beyond to help us with any concerns!! Cheers to them!

I may have been spoiled when we stayed here two years ago but it’s no longer the same. The males at the front were not interested in our questions or even helping us. As an example after the first night there, our babies socks, knees, and hands were all black, I attempted to tell the male at the front, who brushed me off and wrote the room number on a post it. That night the room was still in the same condition and the baby was all dirty. We wrote a note for the cleaning crew and they washed the floors. The carpet in the room though was still filthy and must have been left there during renovations as the doors knobs and counters were full of white dust. On our 3rd morning we went to breakfast and were sat at a table. Before we could sit the waitress came over and yelled at me that I can’t just sit where I want and when I want and to get up and move. I told her the hostess sat us and she said to move until she’s ready. Then she yelled at the hostess the entire breakfast. The next morning they couldn’t handle the breakfast rush and shut down the omelette line, unless you were Spanish, and they kept making them. The next day breakfast was a mess, without plates or food. The pool crew and the outdoor bar crew however were still a great time and very friendly! Don’t forget Carlos at the front that is a blast, great person, and always willing to help!

Great location, walking distance to Palm beach, Eagle beach, Butterfly farm. It is close to downtown for food, nightlife and shopping yet away from the noise and crowd to relax, unwind in a quiet and peaceful setting. You can see the big tall Riu palace hotel in the background from the hotel. Nice size room with a sitting area and balcony. Good selection for breakfast. Lovely pool, lounge area, Feel right at home for comfort. Be aware of the night club next door, it could get loud at night. AC in the room is loud. Had to turn it off some times to get a break from the noise. Overall, we like the hotel and enjoyed our stay.

Before our trip (August 2025), I read several reviews that described this hotel as outdated, but they seem to have recently undergone some renovations. I found our room to be adequate, and it had a balcony, which our kids loved sitting on. They could sit out there with the iPads as we prepared for our daily activities. There seems to be a design flaw in the shower, because it's an open concept shower, and there is no door. There should have been a lip (and a slightly deeper pitch) to prevent the water from running out of the shower. Even when we put a floor mat down, the issue persisted. The room had a fridge and a microwave, which we found helpful. At the start of our trip, we were having our room cleaned regularly (unsolicited), but this abruptly stopped. We had to call the front desk a couple of times to have them come late in the day. While it's a minor issue, there seemed to be some disconnect with the number of people in the room. We could never have them take away four dirty washcloths and towels and replace them with four clean ones. There is a resort fee, which pays for breakfast and the use of the various amenities. We found the offerings suitable, so we ate at the hotel most days. There are lots of resident iguanas, and they apparently love fruit, so our kids fed them daily. Oh, there was a stray dog that we saw on the property, and it chased a few of the guests, so keep an eye out for that. It's not hard to miss, as it wore a white bandana.

If you like to stay in a smaller and cozier hotel than big all inclusive resorts with several hunderd rooms, then Courtyard by Marriott Aruba Resort is your place. The location at the beginning of the hotel and restaurant strip of Noord is just perfect: Peaceful, but from walking distance of shops and restaurants. Beach is also a walking distance away, and for lazy people there is also a shuttle service from hotel to beach. We enjoyed our renovated, spacious room with large bathroom very much. Our room was situated on the second floor (the hotel only has 2 floors) of the main building, where the reception is located. We also liked that our balcony was not facing the pool area, which was quite full all day long. Breakfast was very nice, lots of sortiment. In addition we would have liked some fresh vegetables (tomato, salad, cucumbers, bell pepper) to go with bread and omelettes. Also fruit selection could have been wider and the single packed fruit cubes could be served in a bowl to reduce single use packaging. Otherwise it was nice, that single use cutlery or containers were not used at breakfast. The service at the reception was very friendly, especially Sunci and Yulia were great! The breakfast staff was also very nice, but hotel restaurant dinner service seemed a bit understaffed and therefore the service was not that great, so one time was enough for us. The complimentary yoga class was nice and we also used the guest laundry room. Our stay was overall very good.

The room was nice, the bathroom wall though, is fogged glass so when you are in the room, you can see the silhouette of the other person in the shower. I didn't like it since i was there with family, not an intimate partner. The bed was comfortable, big TV. We did have to go down to check in to get the password for WiFi. It.was nowhere in the room posted, or outside and also not on our key card. We called the front desk 3 times and nobody answered, so we went downstairs to ask.

I booked the pool view room, and they gave me a room that wasn't the pool view without telling me. Then I went to the front desk to change room, it took them about half hour to change room for me. They were not accommodating at all, the airline changed our flights - I called the resort to get them to adjust our dates, they refused said it was against policy - so I thought well our next flight will allow us to at least check in early since our flight arrived earlier the next day- we arrived at 1 pm - our room was not ready until after 4:30pm when check in was supposed to be at 4, and we had already paid for the previous night! They simply did not care ! Extremely disappointing!! And they tried to charge taxes fees and deposit twice

The property is beautiful, clean, and conveniently located near the beach. The resort caters to an older clientele and is ideal if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway. Check-in was disappointing, as the staff member who assisted us was not very informative. We had a pool-view room, which was lovely, and I highly recommend booking a room with a balcony. Unfortunately, service overall was lacking. Most of the bartenders did not acknowledge us, and service was very slow. The waitstaff seemed to operate on “island time,” or perhaps felt less urgency due to the automatic 15% service charge added to each check. We requested a taxi through Jose, but three couples who arrived after us were placed into taxis before us, which was frustrating. Once we got checked in everything was fabulous. The front desk staff may need retraining. First they gave us the wrong room (one bed instead of two), that was after waiting 30 minutes. Several days later I went to ask if they had stamps-front desk staff walked past me, looked at me and turned away, waited in line for 20 minutes to ask that question. Unfortunately we had to keep switching rooms because we kept losing power. Finally after the 4th time of maintenance coming to fix the circuit we were able to get a new room at midnight. Disappointment we were supposed to have a balcony felt like we spent three days just trying to get a new room in general. Management and staff was super unfriendly especially the bartenders. We kept getting charged to our room when we had already payed for it on our credit card. Watch all the hidden fees that they charge you that they don’t tell you about. Service charges they put their own tip on the card and also when you check in they tell you one charge and do another. Also the bartenders made you feel uncomfortable about tipping (which of course I would) everything felt super rushed the service can’t get an order or coffee right beciase they don’t listen to you.

The lunch & dinner food I got from the bar was good, but the breakfast was subpar. Pancakes were cold or lukewarm, bacon was burnt one day, they serve powdered eggs. You will be “overserviced” bc they’re desperate for a tip. There were 2 water bugs in my room one night & another night the fire alarm went off at 1 am but there was no fire. Stay at one of the all inclusive hotels.

Great location, walking distance to Palm beach, Eagle beach, Butterfly farm. It is close to downtown for food, nightlife and shopping yet away from the noise and crowd to relax, unwind in a quiet and peaceful setting. You can see the big tall Riu palace hotel in the background from the hotel. Nice size room with a sitting area and balcony. Good selection for breakfast. Lovely pool, lounge area, Feel right at home for comfort. Be aware of the night club next door, it could get loud at night. AC in the room is loud. Had to turn it off some times to get a break from the noise. Overall, we like the hotel and enjoyed our stay.

I would rate this property as perfect except for one thing that is beyond their control. The breakfast was awesome, the staff the service was quite literally perfect. The pool was great their nearby beach area great. The beach to be fair was small or at least the hotel area of it. But still good and so many beaches to pick anyway. Walkable to downtown with shopping and restaurants. Room very good and cleaning staff excellent. The only drawback they are next door to a mill with shops and a nightclub of some sort. So even though our room was on the other side of the property you would wake up 2 in the morning to this club music in the background. Not so loud as to ruin your sleep but annoying esp. for a light sleeper. So as long as you are not a light sleeper and get a room as far away from the Mill area as possible you should really enjoy your stay.

This is a great place to stay. The rooms are clean, the amenities are great, a wide selection for a delicious breakfast, and best of all was the fantastic staff. Make sure to visit the lounge area to see Miguel (he is amazing) and it is a great place to meet and mingle with other guests

Great modern rooms. Breakfast buffet is really good and included in our package daily. Some live music that’s soothing with smaller crowds. Great for a relaxing time, calm energy, for couples. As a young couple, we could’ve enjoyed a more interactive activity lineup in the resort.

Girl's trip and it's been wonderful! The hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable, the water pressure is on point. The bar tenders have been a blast and the breakfast is included and delicious, the breakfast staff have been polite, courteous and very quick. We absolutely recommend it!
