Clean room and facilities, very quiet. Nice large hot tub which made for a nice soak after a day of hiking. Jets were not working on the hot tub.

We had an excellent room on the end, so we had windows all around which we loved. Only drawbacks were the Elevators not working and being on the 5th floor, and also cable tv did not get good reception.

I have stayed at the Grand lodge for years, Love the pool area, right next to transportation and close to ski area.

The pool & hot tub were fantastic! The hotel staff provided excellent customer service & the property was very clean.

The King Suite with the kitchen was convenient. Beds were comfortable. Staff was there and that's about it.The hotel is a short 5 minute walk to the lifts.The property needs two additional hot tubs. This was my second stay and both times after skiing and into the evening the single hot tub is PACKED. When you can find space don't look at the water. So if a nice hot tub after skiing is a thing for you be aware.

Outdoor Hot tub jets did not work.

It has a Tesla charger. Free bus trip through RTA to downtown Gunnison and Crested Butte. It has a store for alcohol and deli across the lodge. Nice view, nice hot tub with a great view.

We stayed with our family of 5. The hotel was 4 minutes from the ski lifts with young children! You can’t ask for a better location! Pool & hot tub were both clean & not too overcrowded! Remember to pack food! You have a small kitchenette that can cook most any meals. Dining on the weekend was hard. We did not think to make reservations and there was hours wait for some places. Parking was easy and convenient. The ski valet is very nice! We would stay here again.

The rooms are somewhat dated, but they are very clean. Everything works well, and it’s comfortable. The gym is tiny. The pool is small, but nice. Easy to check in, but this place is not a hotel 1 We enjoyed our stay here.

The blackout drapes in the room were very stained ugh. The tub wouldn't drain properly. The exhaust fan in the bathroom wouldn't turn off (no switch working to do this) so it ran all night and blew cold air on self while standing at the bathroom sink. The internet wouldn't work even after several tries and restarting my computer. Over all other than a nice quiet room I wouldn't recommend it.

Beautiful place, loved our Room, Very Clean Hotel, and Room!!! Loved Our Stay

We have stayed at this hotel yearly for over a decade but this year will be our last! Mold on bathroom walls & ceiling. Broken floor tiles in entryway. Threadbare carpet. Cracks in walls and ceiling. We were stuck in a pet room and on the ground floor even tho we requested otherwise over 6 months ago.

The Staff at the Grand Lodge were very nice. The facilities were dated, poorly cleaned but super convenient to the splendor of CB. With some updating and better cleaning this could be something special.

The room was dirty. Dog food by the refrigerator. The property is run down. Checking in the room was not ready and the front desk gave me the key and said he would phone me when the room was ready. He never did. The 2nd day someone was knocking on the door to see if we were still in the room. Then the key stopped working. Convenient location but run down.

The room was dirty. Gunk the bathroom counter, dust the ceiling fans, non working lights, carpet that was short in a lot of the kitchen area exposing the under flooring. The pool towel stock was out the two times we went but they were provided pretty quickly. Overall decent for the price …

Needs updating, curtains didn’t work properly and were stained with holes. Bed was too soft felt like mattress needed replacement. Room smelled musty.

Carpeting in our room was terribly worn with stains.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, the room was a big letdown. It was extremely small—barely enough space for two people to move around without bumping into furniture or each other. It felt cramped and uncomfortable, especially for the price. That said, I do want to mention that the staff was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. They did their best to accommodate us and were always courteous. Overall, while the service was great, the room size really impacted the quality of our stay. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re traveling with another person or need a bit of breathing room.

Room was clean and as described. The only issue is that the walls are paper thin and the party next door was noisy.

This place sucked. There's no A/C and when you open the window to try to cool of the 84 degree room, you have to listen to pool parties and shuttle buses. The bed is 3 feet from the hall door and the doors don't eliminate any sound. We listened to detailed conversations through that door for half the night. It's an odd setup and not really ready for summer guests

The rooms were so spacious and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

The room was very comfortable. The king size bed and bedding were great, and having the mini kitchen really made it convenient for us.

My room was very small and did not have a refrigerator or microwave although I paid the same amount as my sisters who had full suites.

Challenging WiFi. This was a work trip and there was no service in the room, barely in the lobby. Issues with boosters not working. The room itself was as spacious and clean. Great access to the ski mountain. Only one dining option inside the hotel.

Great stay, two ceiling fans to circulate air. And an extra plug in fan. Comfortable bed, sofa bed is decent. Big space. Kitchen includes fridge, microwave, coffee maker, sink and one stove. Bathroom clean. Friendly staff, would stay again!

Great location and the room was so comfortable and spacious. Having the kitchenette was a big plus. But the hotel really needs to upgrade its internet/wifi. It was useless and when I needed to work or even just check the news, it was unbearable.

We found the King suite to be a nice and more spacious than expected because there was a separate living room and kitchenette. We felt completely relaxed at the hot tub and heated pool. Overall, it was a nice stay.

The hotel gave us a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite. Beautiful room. The property was excellent and licated clise to town.

We had an amazing time at the Lodge, our first time in Created Butte did not disappoint in the least! Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality, shout out to the staff on hand who were top notch.

AVOID. Front desk management was rude and unaccommodating (Hunter Keira and Kaylee). Managers were awful and made zero attempt to recover issues with stay that were easily fixable resulting in needless hassle they could have easily made changes or simple fixes that would have eased the burdens made by THIER STAFF. The Room itself was ok, not worth the money, but ok. Pool was disgustingly crowded even at 1030 pm. couldn't even use it. Gym was also full of children seemingly unsupervised by adults. Parking lot was unkempt and dangerous with icy conditions and snowbanks. Would absolutely NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. 10/10 avoid due to management. 3 interactions with the managers at the front desk all but ruined my stay. Awful experience with them.

Overall the vibe is great. The setup of the rooms was fantastic and roomy. The beds are comfy, hot water plentiful, easy access to the lifts. The downfall for our stay (this might be a one off) was the service. We had two separate booking because we decided to add one more night last minute. When making the last minute booking we were told that there were plenty of rooms available with the larger rooms but sold out of the small rooms with our original booking. When we got to the lodge we asked if we could pay the difference and stay in the larger room so we would haven’t to switch the next day. They were not honest and said they were full. I called to verify like I would book a room and was told there were plenty. Once I found out that we couldn’t stay in our room, I asked if they had a place to store our luggage they said no. Then I asked if we could keep them on one of the push carts they said no, we had to put our stuff back in our car. We did that, however, we saw that they let multiple other families keep their luggage in the lobby for hours. The icing on the cake was on the first night when we went to go to bed, we had blood on our sheets. We removed them and slept on the blankets we brought because we were exhausted and wanted to go to bed. When I brought this up to the staff, they did nothing but say sorry. I asked to talk to a manager and gave my number. I still have yet to receive a call. I feel like another number instead of like a customer.

Not the best experience. The booking site stated that we could check in at any time. After a four hour drive we arrived at 11:15pm and were greeted by a sign that stated the checkin desk closed at 11pm. We called the on call number, and gave up on getting a hold of anyone after 20 minutes of trying. Fortunately we were able to track down a security guard who was able to give us access to our room. The next day we visited the office to “check in” and the girls working there couldn’t have cared less about our experience. The place was clean, but very dated. Housekeeping was not included, and the whole experience was quite a let down.

best location in Crested Butte. close to chairlifts. close to bus to town. close to restaurants. beds in West tower are right next to the door, so you hear all the loud people coming in after hours.

Since it was summer and not skiing season, it was very peaceful in this area plus we were right next to the free shuttle to downtown Crested Butte.

This hotel is conveniently located near bus stops and shuttles. I like the location and the value in the rates during a fantastic Fall time. The front desk attendants were very friendly and efficient. Great customer service at the hotel.

Good location if you’re skiing. Very clean and about 3.5 miles from downtown Crested Butte.

The property is very convient for access to the Town of Crested Butte. It is located adjacent to the transit center. I wish there was more to do in the property but it was the offseason. Everyone at the resort was very friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

The hot tub jets didn't work, restaurant was not open. We will not stay with you again, nor will I recommend anyone stay there!

We have stayed here several times. The rooms are great! Most include a small kitchenette. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. I do wish that the restaurant was open for lunch and dinner though.

Good option at a reasonable price for Mt. crested butte. Liked the pool and hot tub. Restaurant and store were closed.

Everything was great except for two things,...the pizza restaurant is a joke. Went in at 7 (They are open till 9) and couldnt order a pizza,..instead was offered to buy a slice. So it's a pizza place, open til 9 that stopped making pizza at 6:30,....got it. Second thing is you literally cannot purchase cheaper toilet paper than what they use. It's barely toilet paper. It's more like thin writing paper.

it is a beautiful property, although we were very in between seasons, so there was many amenities that were not open.

Lack of amenities especially in the foodservice area. Arrived in the evening and there where no options for food, not even a small “market” like many Hotels now offer.

Check in was great, the room was fine—better, in fact, than I expected. However, I tried to get dinner at the restaurant. I stood there for about 10 minutes before anyone appeared to take my order, then he said it would be another 15-20 minutes to get a sandwich. So, I walked across the street to the deli and had cheese and crackers. I'm guessing staffing is a major issue.

Restaurant and bar facilities limited in the hotel and around the immediate area.

Nothing was open. We had to go into town to get a decent cup of coffee.

Highlife Crust & Crafts Cafe have a very limited breakfast.Everything we asked for was not available. Don’t bother & go downtown.
