A bit outdated, but clean. Free parking behind the building was a HUGE bonus!

I didn't like that you have to park in the back . Then to enter the building you have to walk out the parking onto the street. It should be away to enter from parking area with luggage

Small rooms, limited parking

Casa Blanca hotel doesn’t have coffee maker or microwave, or hair dryer or breakfast How one can stay without these items of survival needs?

It was decent the condition of the room was not the best, no lobby to wait for uber to take me to the airport.

It was the most affordable place in the area by far. It's in a good area. The room was very clean and in pretty good condition. There was free parking in back, with cameras (but still not really visible to the sidewalk or street, so I was a little nervous about it). Staff was very friendly. I was a little surprised to see posted hourly rates when I checked in. This is not the best place if you are noise sensitive. Doors opened loudly throughout the night, and the staff was cleaning a nearby room at 4am (again, hourly rate). It's also next to the highway, and there was a lot of noise from that.

This is a good spot for the price. Ample public parking under the overpass directly across the street so no worrying about street parking when you arrive. Easy check in. Liquor store right next door, as well as delis and bodegas on every block. 10 minute walk to Il Porto which is an insane sit down pizza joint with a perfect menu. Chicken wings are a must order but are not on the menu so make sure to ask xo

The carpet was sticky and need shampooing, the ceiling in bathroom had slight mold and the water pressure was very low, but overall the room was what was expected from the pictures shown. The room was setup was lovely! The other minor issue is the parking lot behind the building has 5 spaces and NO back door, which is an inconvenience for when u returning very late at night and having to walk around the block for the front entrance.

Property is convenient and appears to be safe. Rooms are small but that’s ok.. need to fix the ice machine and vending increase water power.

Ehmed, at the front desk, was so welcoming and made check-in and check-out a breeze. The hotel room is nice, spacious, clean, and has A/C. The room even had a mini fridge. There's a microwave available for use in the lobby. The hotel has an elevator and is very accommodating to your needs. There's free vehicle parking. There's also a bus stop right outside the hotel. I greatly enjoyed my stay and would stay again, given the opportunity.

Bed bugs

Our room was not clean at all. It wasn’t like they didn’t turn it over, it was just dirty. The carpet in our room was filthy. So stained it was crispy. The furniture had burn marks all over it and the air conditioner wouldn’t stay on. We ended up shortening our trip because we didn’t feel comfortable staying. When we asked to be swapped to a different room, they said they were booked but we literally never ran into another human in this place. The guy who checked us in was very nice but he was gone by the time we saw the condition of our room. Very disappointed. We have never had such a bad experience at a hotel booked through this site.

I cannot say whatI liked. I reserve this hotel for my daughter, so she could spend few days in a "nice" place in Brooklyn before her graduation. She arrived, found the sheets dirty (with spots of unknown origin), burned marks on the sheets and curtains, and smell in the room. She left an hour after arriving. I'm still trying to get a refund. Unbelievable.

Everything was dirty

Towels and room are not very clean, have bugs on bed; sound isolation is very bad, can hear noise from corridor/elevator/outside road at night.

the hotel room smelled horribly like cigarettes, the window wouldn't shut fully so bugs were getting it, the walls were gross and had stuff all over them. the shower had hair in it, doesn't seem like the room was cleaned fully from the last guests.

When we went to the hotel, there were bed bugs and the 2 rooms were not clean at all. We ask them to change the sheets and clean the room and they never did. Terrible experience

This hotel is disgusting. DO NOT BOOK HERE. I dismissed the low rating and thought it couldn't be as bad as others were making it out to be. It's worse. The first room I reserved had roaches so I was reassigned to a room that looked as it hadn't been cleaned and also reeked of cigarettes. This is not to mention an unavailable staff that didn't seem interested in working. With no time to book somewhere else, I reluctantly stayed the night, but could not sleep due to the condition of the room and location in general. The property magner has refused to issue me a refund and is hiding behind arbitrary rules and restrictions to avoid accountability for the state they've allowed this business to deteriorate into. It's only a matter of time before this hotel becomes a health and safety hazard, if it hasn't already, and shouldn't even be listed in Expedia's network in the first place as it meets non of it's standards for quality.

Dirty… stains on sheets … rug… dirty towels… peeling wall paper… noise from other rooms until 5 am management did nothing to correct… window wouldn’t close

The room was dirty (honey packs in the side table drawers, stains on the floors) the walls are super thin and you literally hear EVERYTHING in the hallways (elevator dinging, people talking, etc.) It’s definitely NOT family friendly either. I was only there for 2 nights and each night there were people screaming and moaning each time. And they also have “Short stay hours” on display on the front desk! It was not worth the price and I will never stay there again. Wish I could get my money back!!!

The property was very close to a rail line, you could hardly get a decent rest at any time of the day, and the environment around the hotel was not too great.

Room was okay but window was broken, fridge was outdated ..other than that there was smell of smoke in room .so loud noises

It was ok for my 6 hour power nap. The walls are paper thing so you can hear everyone in the halls. You get whatbyou pay for. I just needed to nap and shower before returning back to work.

Hotel is perfectly fine for the price & location. Don’t expect any frills. It’s more like a really nice youth hostel than a hotel, as the rooms are practically dorms, and there’s nothing they can really do about the noise. (It was a wknd, so there were some younger people partying. Walls are also paper thin.) Room was clean, staff was friendly, and I felt generally safe in the hotel and the immediate surrounding area. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable, but it was a decent room for one night that was reasonably priced, and they had wifi, tv, and a window. It’s also fairly close to notable Brooklyn places. What else do you need? If you want to save a few bucks, it’s perfectly fine.

Customer service was terrible, guy in the front desk had us waiting an hour and 30 minutes just to get our room. No lounge area, had us standing the whole time. Then he refused to give me an extra towel, was extremely rude and inconsiderate.

I wish i could leave a 0 star review. The front desk attendant gave me a key to someone elses room so i walked in on them. I exchanged the key and know brooklyn well so was not bothered by the neighborhood. The bathroom soap was turning yellow. Roches were attempting to crawl into my suite case. I notified the attendant that i killed 2 and requested that he come view them and issue a refund. My refund was refused. All they could offer was another roach infested room. Expedia is helping them scam people. When i tried to talk to management i was given a gmail address and expedia told me all refunds must be approved by the property owner. Still no refund. Expedia is arguing with me. All the reviews are true. This place is NASTY. I DID NOT STAY THE NIGHT. I checked out and went to the marriot. Dont waste your money or time. This place is absolutely disgusting and a scam

We were robbed ! Can you believe this? Front desk clerk apologized that he inadvertently rented out our room for the day while we were still registered for the room. The renters robbed us of cash, a laptop, a passport, destroyed a carryon bag to get inside because it was locked. Our room was in such a mess when we entered that night. Looked like someone partied while they were in there. The contents of my carry on were completely emptied on the bed and floor! If you were given a room and noticed luggage still inside toiletries in the bathroom, would you not go back to the front desk? How can this happen? The Hotel has video throughout the place, an ID photocopied from these people, but I've not heard back from anyone at the Hotel regarding the arrest of these thieves or the return of the items stolen. Never in all my years travelling have I heard of this situation happening! We called police and filed a report. This report is what I used to get back into Canada. Ok, hotel refunded our cost, but my laptop had photos and data that is now forever lost! What will the thieves do with my passport? Ok, I cancelled it was I got back home, but this passport in still out there. It's troubling to me to know that it's in the hands of these thieves. What was a nice vacation turned into a nightmare by the carelessness of Casa Blanca Hotel. I still have my doubts about the Clerks story! I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone who is looking for a place to stay while visiting New York.

From the beginning, check in took 20 minutes due to no one being at the front. Once I got to the room, there was bug in the shower drain, dust covering everything from the night stands, TV, bathroom mirror and more. The sheets and bedding had cigarette burns in them and they only provided two top sheets. The ac unit had a smell like it hasn’t had a filter changed in 27 years. This was one of the most disgusting hotels I’ve stayed at in all my years and will never be coming back. Spend the extra money on something worthwhile like Moxy / Aloft or another 4+ star hotel. You get what you pay for and this was not worth the amount. It was like staying in a Motel 8

I asked for late checkout at 12 noon day before. Staff named Ahmed came on departure date at 11:30:am with a hard knock on my door. Ruined my experience.

The front desk agent was very rude, the agent stood outside as I waited to be checked in and then told me he was on break. As I went into my rm it had a very bad smell of old food and corn chips, bathrm not clean. Light fixtures broken. I asked for a different room due to the issues the front desk agent was still very rude changes my rm but once I got to the other rm it had a different smell, cigarette smell. I then brought my own fabreeze so the rm can smell better. I didn’t want to go back down to deal the agent again. If agent was more friendly and accommodating I think things would have been different. I don’t recommend this property.

What a dump. We didn't get sleep at all our first night because of staff working right outside our (paper thin) door. Plus the front desk calling in the middle of the night and banging on doors. They must rent rooms by the hour because they were trying to evict people at 3-6 am. Place was dirty and stunk. No amenities at all. they even had a completely empty vending machine in the lobby.

I was put on the first floor which I greatly appreciate because after my commute to location I wanted to rest prior to hangout with friends. I would love to come back and stay on the 1st floor once again. Not only that room was cleaned and smell of cleaning products which I greatly appreciated. The tv was usable also.

Came here for a solo trip. Location is a little off the beaten path by train/subway, and maybe a little sketch, but it's easy by road. Price is great. Room was mostly fine, but furnishings were minimal and a little beat. There isn't much close by, so you'll be hoofing it at least ten minutes towards downtown Brooklyn for restaurants, potentially further for easy subway access. This place is directly under the BQE, so there's going to be traffic noise - I thought it was fine for being right next to the highway, but if you're sensitive to noise, this might be a tough stay. For the price, this was more than fine; I'd stay again if needed. Keep your expectations in check.

The room was rather nice: nothing very fancy but clean, confortable and had everything we needed! The location was nice and there is a bus stop just in front of the hotel (or else less than 20' walk to the metro, which was fine for us). They have a late check-in which we really appreciated (we arrived at 2am). Only negative points were that we were in the basement, so you don't really have an openable windown. Also, there was quite a lot of noise: we could hear what happened in the corridors and it seemed we were next to the service areas, so we heard quite a lot in the night too... Overall, price-quality was good for us!

Solid hotel for the price and location in Brooklyn. Hotels in Brooklyn can easily cost $500-$1,000 per night, especially when special events are in town. We got this for $200 the night before the Brooklyn marathon and were very happy with what we got for the money. The room was clean and fine, the bathroom and shower were clean and fine, and the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. And it is only a couple of walking blocks away from great restaurants and the brooklyn bridge. Was it a little loud a few times during the night? Yes! But that is what a noise machine app is for on your phone. Overall it served our purposes great and was a good deal for the money.

It is a lovely hotel,easily accessible for transportation,shopping and dining .

I had to walk out for breakfast and dinner. Review online states the hotel offers continental breakfast and snacks 24/7 The property is well-renovated.

The hotel is clean, but that's all. The shower is unsafe as there are no hand holds and not even a place to put your soap. It is a falling hazard. There is a microwave, but no coffee service (even for sale). You have to go to the store next door in your PJ's to get food & coffee. There is no washer & dryer and there's no laundromat in the immediate vicinity of 3-4 blocks. The only other good thing is the B62 stops right outside.

The surroundings of the hotel are not very nice, specially at night. The hotel is not very close to any subway station, although several bus lines stop nearby (the 62 line stops at the door). The room was nothing out of the ordinary. For the value paid, I would've expected breakfast, and bedsheets without holes in them.
