The room was nice and modern, but the location was in an industrial area that was a bit scary, particularly at night walking from the train station about 2 blocks away. The buffet breakfast was ok but packed with folks to the point that you could not find a table to sit in... and nightmare to get back in the room with just 2 (out of 3) elevators operable. The only drawback to this hotel is the parking. It's really difficult to find a spot if you don't arrive early. If you arrive late, the surroundings aren't very pleasant. Otherwise, you'll have to pay for valet parking every night you stay there.

Located in an alley in a run down neighborhood. Hotel ammenities are lacking. The guest laundry is a broom closet with 1 washer and 1 dryer. Rooms have no closets just a tiny cubby with a few hangers. In room frige is dinky and barely cools drinks. Takes days to cool stuff down. Free breakfast was good and staff worked well to keep it stocked with items during breakfast hours. Decent selection of items for purchase from the concierge area and priced ok. Staff worked hard to keep hotel clean. Lobby bathrooms very clean and well stocked . Bar was undersupplied with basic ingredients and alcohol selection was very limited. Staff did the best they could with limited stock on hand . Rooms are cramped and beds are so-so comfort wise. More like a 2 star hotel.

terrible noise 24/7 due to reconstructions all over the streets, even at night impossible to sleep! worst experience ever in my life! never again will come! 3 elevators but still every time waiting for it for a long time! breakfast is terrible, lines to get food you will wait for 15 min to take a food and no place to sit, take your food and eat it in room , craaaazy! black out from the window felt down right in my head, asked cleaning lady to fix it but she just walk away cause she don’t speak english CRAZY! Clean facility and room. Thanks for that. Water dispenser in Gym did not work. Tv wifi in room did not work. Bedside lights did not work. The technician came and said he did not have the supplies to replace water filters amd ligjt bulbs. 2(**)star hotel.

Long waits for elevator and the chaos during breakfast time made the stay slightly less enjoyable. The biggest drawback was the cold showers. We stayed for 5 days and only 1 day did the water actually get hot.

No wash rag for the 3 days I stayed. Staff couldn't find any. Overcrowded breakfast so had to skip everyday. Construction crew outside wakes us up before 8am... otherwise hotel was very clean and great workers

I have a great experience there. Check in was quick, friendly staff. My room was clean, and in perfect conditions. Warm and hot water. New updated furniture and bathrooms. Perfectly clean showers. Air conditioner working perfectly. Breakfast in the morning was great as well. Well stocked, variety. There was a problem with one of the waffle makers only one was working so I have to wait for 30 minutes for two waffles but other than that I never have a problem with my breakfast. Valet parking is expensive like 60 dollars. But you can park around the area free, I have no problem parking around.

Well…our room appeared fine until I noticed it had a cockroach in it. Only seen one but there may have been more! Absolutely disgusting! And when brought up to the manager he “appeared” to be disgusted as well but that was a lie. The manager promised to give me points due to this inconvenience and because i had booked with Expedia he claimed he wasn’t able to do more but later never followed through with the points. Expedia as well as this hotel only care about money and not customer experience and satisfaction. Would not recommend this hotel unless staying with cockroaches in your room is something you don’t mind.

One thing that i appreciated about the rooms were how clean they were. I did not find any wash cloth or towels that were soiled which is very common in hotels these days. Will definitely visit again.

Valet was alright, the link to request my car doesn’t work and I had to actually tell them to get my car which I was disappointed bc what’s point of the link. Ended up waiting a long time for my car. No trash can in the bathroom and small counter space :( as a girl it’s need. Rooms were clean but at night there was loud music on the streets so couldn’t really sleep well. Onstreet parking is impossible so be prepared to park in valet which is additional cost :/ staff was nice and friendly. Would recommend for short term stays!

Literally something broke in our room every day, we were there, the safe, the sink and the tv. We were there over the 4th and July 3rd it was so loud no one could sleep, and the hotel could not do anything since the party was in the neighborhood. When we asked about the noise we were told "America is Loud". These are not suites, there was a typical hotel refrigerator and microwave, the room was so small, and the bathroom was not functional for three people. The neighborhood is not walkable, we had to Uber everywhere or they have valet if you have your own car. The only upside was the front desk and maintenance were very nice which we can speak to since we had many maintenance calls. Overall, a very average experience.

Pros: The staff was helpful and kind. The rooms were clean. The shower head had good pressure and didn't take time to get to the perfect temperature. The air conditioning worked great. The breakfast options were plenty and the coffee/tea station was in a convenient position and always available. Cons: The water pressure of the sinks were low. Our floor was on the fourth and fifth floor and we could hear the people outside. Plus, the curtains are a light material so all the light comes into the room at night so it is difficult to sleep if you like your room to be pitch black. When we requested extra towels, it took some time (like 10-20 mins) to get them.

Easy check in. Comfortable beds. Amazing pressure in the shower. Breakfast buffet was great. Room was a bit chilly but that was more me not knowing how to work the thermostat. Good sleeping temperature though. Easy check out and valet service for parking. Overall would stay again

It was my families first time in NY and we enjoyed our stay. As soon as we walked in Nona helped us and made our check in process very convenient and Mary the female bartender was kind and amazing! I highly recommend this hotel because of the wonderful staff and atmosphere.

Every staff member we encountered on 10/5/24 to 10/6 when we checked out were all amazing ! Friendly ! Helpful!! Really excellent customer service from front dest to valet to servers!! A great experience because of all of the people working!

We had a confirmed reservation, but when we arrived, the front desk staff told us we were already checked in — yet they didn’t have a room for us. They said there had been an error and that we had to leave, even though it was their mistake. Our reservation was cancelled without our consent, and no solution was offered. Completely unacceptable. We won’t be booking here again.

It was the worst check-in experience. I had to check in at a late time but I called them earlier in the day to make sure it wouldn't be a problem. They told me it would be okay as long as I arrived before 3am. I arrived at 2am. They had the most unprofessional, disrespectful, confrontational and rude receptionist. His attitude was so combative from the moment I got there that it made me feel unsafe. I had specifically booked and paid for a two queen room. He told me they no longer have such a room available and very rudely told me that I had no right to question it as I arrived so late and told me he can give me a refund. What a great solution for someone looking to check in at 2am to the hotel room they paid for months in advance. I would advise anyone to stay away from this place. The whole place seems like a scam.

Check in was fine. Included breakfast was good. Room was nice. Shower was tricky adjusting water temp. The real issue was after I left. I had a package set to be delivered to the hotel during my stay. The package was delayed and wouldn't arrive until after I left. Upon checkout, I printed a return slip for the package. They agreed to put it on the package when it arrived. I've called 4 times since the package was delivered. Every time I either get the runaround, they put me on hold for 10 minutes, or they hang up on me. It was an expensive package and I need this resolved. I believe an employee stole the package, especially since they hung up when I asked about it. Please contact me.

We came here knowing nothing about the area and the hotel surroundings. New York is going through some changes, and construction is everywhere. This picture of the hotel is 100 misleading. It's a computer drawing. The entrance to the hotel looks like a back alley. There is a lobby which is cramped and a thousand people in the lobby as its small and they are using it for several different reasons. Next, they do not tell you that you are 200 feet from the Edison electricity power station it's towers and smokestacks. Glad it wasn't nuclear. The hotel is 2 blocks from "the projects" which is one of the most run down and dangerous areas in New York (Queens). Walking anywhere is dangerous. The room itself- though small- was clean and the only respite from it all. That said it was not new and not sound proof- cars honking and worse all the construction "backing up beeps" all morning from 4am were a constant alarm noise. Not a bad experience but not a great one. I was glad to come home.

The rooms were clean, and that was the only positive aspect of this hotel. The food was terrible and lacked variety. There were no vegetables or fruits, except for bananas. There was no selection of cheeses or cold cuts. There was no coffee machine. There wasn’t enough space in the dining area for all the guests, so many people took their plates up to their rooms. One of the three elevators was out of service the entire week, which caused long lines after breakfast. There was no option to use the stairs instead. The parking is extremely expensive — $45 per night for a regular vehicle and $55 per night for an SUV. The location of the hotel is terrible. It felt unsafe to walk outside, especially toward the subway station, due to the unpleasant environment and people in the area. Also, the bathroom door in our room was broken and wouldn't close properly.

Clean and modern hotel. Big dining area with plenty of chairs and tables for breakfast, however, breakfast can get really crowded! Be prepared to maybe bring food to your room to eat. Breakfast is decent. The room is clean. We slept well. No noise concern. 10min walk to train station and buses.

Even though we paid extra to have breakfast included, well no breakfast!!! They claim that either they didn’t receive food delivered… what the whole week, people were very upset, some were told to go to the supermarket which is 15+ minutes walk. Manager did do anything, a family told us that they were there since Wednesday and two out of four days so far no breakfast.

Rooms and check In was good. Only thing i would say is that vegeterian option in breakfast was very very limited. This disappointed us all as we had 2 kids. Normally all hotel breakfast got vast choices but this one had lots for non vegeterian. Its something to consider going forward.
