The rooms are ok. Clean and basic. Soaps and shampoos are good. The elevators are slow, problematic and the key cards are not working properly. Breakfast is basic. The team throughout the hotel are very good and helpful.

Comfortable room & bed. Well run function that we attended. Good choice at breakfast. Would prefer butter & jams to be served in individual pots rather than as a big block of butter to cut off or open pots of jam. Quite a small car park that fills up quickly.

First time visiting at this hotel. No where to park they had an event on which wasn’t stated at booking and took nearly 30 minutes to find somewhere to park. The reception wasn’t welcoming and when we got to our room we were horrified about the cleanliness. Black tape on the ceilings which patched up holes and black mould everywhere in the bathroom. During our time there was an incident involving a drunk dispute which 5 security guards had to come out to try to diffuse the situation the whole reception area became very unsafe and we were told to go to the rooms and away from Exiting the building. The rooms were not sound proof and could hear screaming all night one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel.

I was disappointed with standard of cleanliness. There were pubic hairs in the shower and although I asked politely to the receptionist and she did called housekeeping, the state of the shower was the same also the sink was very dirty! The bed was lovely and wide that was nice, the corredor leading to the room was not lighted and looked non inviting

Super comfy bed and pillows. We also appreciated having such a big sink and mirror in the bathroom, with loads of space either side to put our bathroom stuff - something that is often missing in hotel rooms. A power rain shower, and I conditioner and body lotion is also included, which is missing in many other hotels. Overall, a lovely one night stay!

Nice room, clean. Not very sound proof even though it claimed to be. There was an event on at the hotel that we weren’t aware of, so we couldn’t use the bar or restaurant as it was so busy and I could hear everyone milling around outside the door til early hours and there was quite a draught coming through the door. Bed was really comfy and the view and facilities were lovely. Over all had a good stay.

Rooms where clean and comfortable however bathroom door had some damage and two bandaids where holding and covering the damage not so fresh. Had a long day if meeting and tried to order room service but never got through on the room phone to room service so had to ho down stairs to order something to eat when I just wanted room service and a good night sleep . Bed was comfortable but pillows only ok

Very cold on arrival .. heater able to heat where the heater was and not much further leaving the bathroom cold and the bed and sleeping conditions cold … staff did try to change the settings but not effective .. have stayed here a number of times but probably won’t stay here again especially if it’s cold … top tip don’t stay on the 7th floor the privilege appears to be being cold

Stayed here before and generally very happy but a bit of feedback: Pillows are far too soft (i have asked for firmer ones for 2nd night) Breakfast needs some attention. The sign to order veggie sausages etc is not obvious enough and I didn’t know it was there till today although I have been here a few times. The eggs on the serving counter looked horrible (dried up). I did ask for porridge which they ‘cooked’ for me but i was inedible as the oats were hardly cooked at all. Just give breakfast some attention and the hotel is a great choice!

Very warm welcome from the staff on reception. However; the last night was very hectic with a party that was happening late into the evening and didn't stop until 0100 which disturbed our night sleep. It was very noisy and our room kept shaking from the music that would be heard on floor 3. The shower hook on the the glass, shower curtain was loose, and the light fittings were needing to be pushed up. Also, there was lack of lighting in a room that was a decent size.

We had a really nice stay here. The hotel is well located on the edge of town so it was easy to go out for meals and walk to local attractions. It’s also 10 mins walk from the train station. Parking was easy to access. The staff were all really helpful, particularly the gentleman on reception ( I think his name was Chester). The only thing we would raise is the lack of fridge in the room. We were staying during a heatwave and although the room was air conditioned it would have been good to have a fridge to keep cold drinks.

On arrival reception staff were good. However, the room had no bottles of water, water or wine glasses provided, no robes provided and no bath tub in the king size room, which was basic. They wanted to charge £4 to bring an ice bucket and 2 wine glasses to the room and said they were too busy to facilitate the request but the bar and restaurant were empty when we went down there. The guy behind the bar had no idea what he was doing (Pavel) & didn't know the wine selection on offer. He couldn't even ring drinks through the till, rolled his eyes when asked for ice and an ice bucket. However the breakfast was good and reception staff were good.

Hotel was comfortable but the staff weren’t very good at checking they tried to charge me £100 more even though I showed my booking it took about 20 minutes to finally get it it right not very friendly and quite rude at check in and breakfast you get the feeling they don’t want to be there need to learn customer service we stay in hotels most weeks and never came across such unfriendly staff probably wouldn’t go back

Nice, functional hotel in a good location for the town. Clean and comfortable rooms and a decent selection for breakfast. Staff at reception and the bar were not very friendly or welcoming which was a shame. Would come again on another visit to the theatre.

Fantastic service. Every member of staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Breakfast was lovely. It was good to have soya milk. The hotel has recently been refurbished and is close to the town centre - so very convenient. The rooms are newly refurbished, and the king size rooms are comfortable.

Great location which is convenient for Franklin's Gardens, the train and bus stations and the town centre. Unfortunately it is directly opposite a park area which seems to attract a fair few dodgy characters and this is the same for the walk into town. The rooms are clean and modern (duvets and pillows aren't great but what you'd expect at this price point). The bar could do with having someone present to serve behind it on a more regular basis. Breakfast is very good for a buffet with the bacon some of the best I've had. Staff polite and friendly. Our biggest issue during our stay was due to the fact that we had a room overlooking the entrance to the hotel. Being woken at approx 2am by a car full of youths who parked outside, inhaled laughing gas and talked loudly for about an hour wasn't great. I'd have expected them to be moved on but maybe there was no one there to move them on as the reception phone went unanswered.

Stayed here with a friend for one night and couldn't fail anything. Check In was really friendly, room was lovely and spacious and the hotel is close to everything in Northampton you need - so just perfect.

I paid for my breakfast. It was good though the fried eggs were hard. The bar manager was excellent, very helpful and courteous. Bar prices ridiculous. Room very good indeed. Clean, comfortable and well appointed.
