Very limited parking

Love the place! The only thing did not like was that the poool was closed and they did not say anything. Everything else was good!

One of the reasons I chose this property was the fact that there was a pool. However, when we arrived the pool was closed our entire time there. Had I known this, I would have stayed somewhere else. Its not my responsibility to call property to verify that the pool is open. The website should've stated pool was closed. This was disappointing which is why the lower rating.

The room we stayed had looked Ike someone used a crowbar to break inside the room prior to our arrival. I seen cockroaches, the pool was closed looked green, they didn’t have enough food for breakfast (it was terrible).

New, clean, comfortable hotel. Great bar and bartender Mark. Breakfast was fair. Hot, good coffee. Gym facilities were good. Great hot showers. Near fun shopping area. Very quiet. I would definitely stay there again. Reasonable price.

Bri and Elise the bartenders were absolutely amazing. Everyone was so nice. Place was clean and in great location.

I was pleased with most everything. The parking is a bit of a challenge as limited spaces but I never had a problem getting a space. They are just a little close for large pick up trucks. But it worked out okay.

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, good fitness center, access to many restaurants and grocery stores.

The staff wasn’t the friendliest. My room was not cleaned, sink had coffee stains, toilet seat was dirty, there was trash behind the bed & the towels were dirty as well. Also the parking is extremely limited & the spaces are too close together. Lastly for a pet friendly hotel you’d think you would be able to enter the hotel from the sides with your key, that’s not the case.

Checked into the hotel, it was far from full asked for a room close to the elevators as I had a lot of luggage, got the room the furthest from the elevator, the woman checking me in told me I was in one of the rooms close closest to the elevator. Got unpacked and ready to lay down, pulled back the sheets... the sheets had stains and hairs in it... it had just been remade, and nothing had been changed, trashbags were not put into the trash bins just placed on the counter next to the tv. Cabinets open, the block out curtains did not go down.

The staff were extremely helpful and empathetic when there was an issue with garbage in our room. They happily moved us to another room immediately, which we were super grateful for. The hotel is in a great area in which we felt perfectly safe walking around my dog late at night. The entire area is very well lit and the property backs up to a large apartment complex so there are usually lots of people around. We really enjoyed walking around the shops and restaurants and large park next to the hotel. we met a lot of people who are all super friendly. There are lots of cleanup stations for dogs, too. The breakfast options were somewhat limited for vegetarians. They changed every day, but we appreciated having fresh fruit, yogurt, and especially the spicy potatoes, those were really delicious! It was also great having coffee and hot water for tea available 24/7. The only real issues we had with our room once we switched was the shower taking about 10 minutes to get fully hot the first time we used it - it must’ve been a room that doesn’t get used frequently - and the floor being dirty. We found a lot of hair and contact lenses on the living room floor. I’m really glad we found the contacts before my dog ate them. Otherwise, the rooms were spacious, and generally very quiet, we didn’t hear a lot of noise from the hallways or adjacent rooms. The beds were super comfy. Thanks to the staff for taking care of us when problems arose!

I'm unsure if our stay was the perfect storm, but it was disappointing. Friday night, there was a giant cockroach in our bathroom. The following day, we showed it to the Front Desk person and were met with indifference. Maid service never came the 1st two days. We asked the Front Desk person, and they said we weren't on the list for cleaning. We were added to the list, but the maid knocked on the door at 3:15 as we were getting ready for Christmas Eve dinner. On Tuesday, I had to do a wash, but the washer and dryer on-site only took quarters. I went to the front desk for quarters, and the desk person said they didn't have any, but she said her manager would be coming in later and may pick some up. I went upstairs for a few hours, stopped by the desk, and still had no quarters. I then went to Harris Teeters, got some quarters, and went back to the laundry room to do my wash. I put four quarters in the machine to buy laundry detergent, pushed the quarters in, and nothing came out. I had to return to the front desk, and the person there gave me a detergent box. It was one inconvenience after another, and the nonreaction to the cockroach was concerning. It's a nice hotel close to shopping and restaurants, but this stay was a big disappointment.

Overall, it was fine. #1 WAY TOO MUCH AIR FRESHNER We would have changed hotels but it was non refundable. #2 Room 107 had a brown stain on the wall in the bathroom above toilet, carpet looked very worn , sink did not drain. Hotel staff was great. I was in town for business, very convenient.

We love staying at Hyatt House Rea Farms. The staff is great, very clean hotel, wonderful breakfast and convenient location. The rooms are large and well equipped.

The room was very clean

Nice room and great environment. Just wished I could’ve enjoyed my stay better. Unfortunately I was not able to sleep in my bed due to bugs on sheets and pillow cases, the couch was comfy though.

Staff was very nice and overall a good hotel. I didn't like that they do not have proper balckout curtains in the rooms. There is only a black colored.roll-down shade and the streetlights at night poured light into the room. I did not sleep well because of this. Will likely not stay here again bc of this. Blackout curtains are a necessity!

The property has everything you may need and friendly staff. There are many restaurants and stores in the area. The room was nice. There is a mini refrigerator and microwave in the room as well. If you are a light sleeper make sure your room isn't facing the busy road. You can hear the traffic but it wasn't a bother to us.

I enjoyed my time here, clean hotel... but the location right next to a road with very noisy revving cars is a disadvantage. I woke up several times just from that.

It was fine. AC didn’t work when we first got there but that was fixed quickly. Bed wasn’t very comfortable.

The stay was excellent. I am certainly coming back again. This will be my go to hotel whenever I'm in Charlotte. Special shout out and Kudos to Jessica for her hospitality when I arrived. She is very friendly and professional. Also want to acknowledge another special person, Chris for his hospitality and kindness. He engaged with friendliness and kindness when I wanted to know where the closes shopping mall was. Great hotel great staff. Will certainly tell others. Thank you

I enjoy staying here but sometimes the staff aren’t at the front desk and you’re literally standing there for like 5mins

When the 5 of us arrived at 8 pm, the hotel had given our room away. Then they offered one king room to our family of five. TERRIBLE service

The night receptionist was incredibly rude. I locked myself out of my room and when I approached her sitting there playing on her phone to ask for a key she rolled her eyes and reluctantly stood up. I thanked her and she just stared at me. I have never encountered such rudeness in my life.

Check in was a disaster. Computers did work. They rejected both my credit cards but I called the bank and Bank said they accepted the charge so not sure why rejected. I checked in at 4:15pm and they said my rooms weren’t ready, and needed to be cleaned. I had to wait. Once we got in the rooms, the rooms were great and spacious.

Our A/C didn't work (late-July in NC). When I informed the front desk they said the maintenance person lived 45 min away... we had a small child with us who needed to go down for bed, so waiting 45 min just to have someone get there to look at the problem didn't feel like an option. They couldn't switch our room because they were fully booked. As a last resort, I asked if they had a portable fan we could borrow which fortunately they did. After hearing "daddy I can't fall asleep, I'm hot" 50 times I realized I should have cut my losses at the beginning and just waited the 45 min for maintenance to arrive and hopefully fix it quickly. It made for a long, miserable night and following day. The toilet paper holder was also loose so the roll kept falling off, and the sink drain wasn't working well. When we checked out we were told they would be adding points to our account but of course those didn't show up in our account either. If we hadn't experienced the broken AC issue, the facilities themselves seemed comfortable and nice. However we paid a higher price than similar hotels were offering because we were paying for the Hyatt brand. Based on our experience we realized the brand is not a reason to pay more. I would have expected a higher level of service given the price and brand. If you have an issue with your room, just know that maintenance might not be able to arrive for at least 45 min, which may not be an issue if you plan to check in early.

Everything was wonderful about this stay. Breakfast was delicious and the facility clean and super comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and professional.

Hotel was very nice. Easy to access interstate. Many places to eat within walking distance.

Hyatt House is in a good location as it is close to 485, places to shop, restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations etc. it is in a nice residential area. The hotel is clean and they serve breakfast. There is a laundry facility, exercise room and other amenities. The mini suites have a stove, refrigerator , dishwasher, dishes etc if you decided to cook.Very nice

The only problem I had was Breakfast. It was not very good, Items were running out and it was cold...

Great location. Bar drink prices are crazy high

This location was nice. The room was pretty and comfortable. The hallways were not air conditioned. A complaint is that when I got to the breakfast at 9:30 am there was nothing left. Nothing. No juice, muffins, nothing. As I went to go to my room it looked like someone was bringing out some food but I didnt have time to wait.

The room and staff were awesome. Majority of the cooked breakfast items were over cooked.

This is a lovely hotel in a very nice area with about everything you could want close by. The 4-star rating was given bc we enrolled in World of Hyatt at suggestion of hotel reception & when I enquirer about a sign on bonus of $15K points being offered was told she thought it was a scam & we didn’t receive them. Then, our plans got changed and we had to add 3 more nights, but had to check out & check back in to go to a different room bc there were no more queen doubles available. That would’ve been ok, but we were given a King suite at a higher rate and STILL no Hyatt points bonus given. Would expect a little bit more customer appreciation. The breakfast eggs weren’t real eggs otherwise an ‘ok’ breakfast as hotel offerings go. Rooms, beds were very good and beds comfortable. Would choose it again when in Charlotte.

Bar food was ok

Super comfortable beds, room was good for a weekend stay. However, housekeeping cleaned the room but never cleaned out coffee pot, mugs or replaced the coffee for next day. Also, buffet (while delicious) was not hot enough.
