No entanto, o hotel não tem acesso a carro, o que só fiquei sabendo após concluir a reserva não reembolsável e, mesmo com recibo em mãos, ainda me cobraram taxas maiores que as comunicadas e outras não mencionadas.

I liked that the hotel was in the heart of the palace, but finding the hotel was not easy. Instructions on how to get here on website would have been helpful. Parking situation was very difficult. Staff was wonderful. Thank you.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. The host was extremely helpful arranging an airport transfer at very late notice. The transfer is definitely worth it as my taxi from the airport cost 80 euros. Beautiful room in a quiet area, but you are right in the heart of the historical district so it's directly outside the door. Hotel has a lift and a very nice breakfast included. Could not have picked a better place to stay.

Fantastic stay. Ideal location within the palace/ old town in a pedestrian only area of the city. Safe, quiet and convenient with clean and comfortable room, very attentive and helpful front desk staff. Booked the “stress relief massage”- 45 min massage for 50 euros which was wonderful and relaxing. Easy to pop in and out of the hotel while exploring Split. Highly recommend!

Stunning location, in the Diocletian palace, old town pedestrian district. Right by the Temple, which made for gorgeous courtyard dining options steps from the hotel. It’s the oldest hotel in Split, but had an elevator and modern rooms. Excellent staff who helped me with accessible access for my mom who has trouble with stairs. I had a wonderful cocktail on the terraced step dining of the hotel. I highly recommend this place.

Clean, quiet room, comfortable bed, large cozy towels and bathrobes, plenty of hot water with strong water pressure, two balconies, excellent staff, well lit reception area, and the addition of a massage for each of us made this visit especially nice. The massages were an additional cost, but oh so worth it. Finally, the front desk staff person recommended both the massage and the walking tour which we took ( for a small fee per person) we delightful. The staff people were especially helpful, patient and kind to us. Thank you, I highly recommend this hotel.

What an amazing place, the hotel was conveniently located about 15 meters from the Riva walkway and Adriatic Sea. The parking situation wasn’t communicated well in the site. There is no onsite hotel parking, the hotel has some limited spots in town, but have to reserved in advance. Once I figured that out, the rest of my stay was perfect. A beautiful peaceful place to relax.

Well renovated and charming. AC works very well. Staff is nice. Price is expensive. Breakfast ok. Parking is rather far away and expensive at 35 E/day. They have a hidden elevator and we didn’t know when we came in.

Fantastic front staff. Very walkable. Great breakfast. Hard to access with a car and parking for rental car far away. If that is not an issue for you, would highly recommend this place to stay.

How often can one say he or she stayed inside Diocletian's Palace? This lovely hotel is built within the walls of the ancient palace. Our room (double bed and 2 twin beds) was modern, well appointed, very clean and spacious. The hotel offers parking for a fee, we were able to find free on-street parking about 15 minutes away in the new city - old Split is completely pedestrian (no cars), so plan accordingly. Our room rate included breakfast in the downstairs restaurant. The breakfast included eggs to order, yogurt, breads, cereals. We loved living in the heart of old Split. Highly recommend.

The bar fridge in the room was not working.complained but still the same. They could have replace bar fridge from another room. The key never worked. I had to go down to the help desk to activate the card. Or ask the cleaning lady to open the door. There was no window and we had to have the light on all the time. Your advertisement says‘double Superior. Terrace city view’. There was nothing like it at that we were on room 402. Poor show

How wonderful it was to spend a week within the walls of the ancient Diocletian's Palace! I was just a few steps away from authentic Dalmatian restaurants, small local shops, a jogging trail to Marjan Hill or the coast and the beach area. The reception provided a map of the city and shared local tips and advice, giving information on where to go and what to see. I even got an umbrella to borrow from the reception. The hotel was clean and quiet. The breakfast was good and varied.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is right in the centre of the old palace and close to the bus and ferry. The interior is very modern and clean. My only real problem with the room is that the bed was extremely uncomfortable. My husband and I both woke up with sore backs. We stayed two nights. There was a lot of noise outside until after midnight on the first night. The second night was quieter. We had supper in the connected restaurant. Absolutely delicious!

The hotel is very nice, recently renovated, great staff and breakfast. Extremely convenient in the old city. Ask about the ground floor elevator if you are traveling with baggage. It was a quiet room, great water pressure and excellent air comforting.

Amazing location and we had the twin with the terrace - the terrace was amazing!!! The staff could not have been sweeter and the breakfast was good albeit fairly basic. Get the iced coffee and fried bread though! My only issue was the A/C wouldn’t go below 19 degrees and didn’t circulate very well around the room so the furthest bed I couldn’t feel it at all so was very very hot. The bathroom was also a very odd layout, I was fine as I am 5 ft 5 but my friend is nearly 6ft and had to sit in the bath and the ceiling was too low to stand

Our room on level 1 is compact, with a shower cubicle and standard furnishings. There is no kettle in the room to boil water - it’s a shame as we have to use bottled water which is of course, is not very environmentally friendly. Breakfast, included, is a standard buffet but with the added perk of cook-to- order eggs. Hotel Slavija is located on top of its restaurant, Para Di Soto. There are also a few restaurants in the same area. Its location is very convenient - but that can be its biggest drawback. The church bells will toll at 6 am. Followed by the noise of delivery carts rattling on the paved stone and the sound of a city awakening. It doesn't really stop until after midnight.

The hotel is right in the heart of Split, convenient to everything you want to see. The staff is lovely and extremely helpful. Our room had a roomy balcony with table and chairs; we found it a perfect way to end the day in our own private space. They can help arrange taxis and excursions as well.

Clean, minimalist room in the middle of the action. A little noisy, but to be expected with the location right beside the surviving structures of the Diocletian Palace. Stay away from Luxor Restaurant, it's clearly a tourist trap.

This hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Split old town. All the staff were wonderful and very helpful, and it is by far the best single room I have ever stayed in (and I've stayed in a few), with great views of belltower and the rooftops of Split. Breakfasts were good with a range of options and the opportunity to eat outside. I requested a 'breakfast to go' for one morning as I was on an early morning trip, and it lasted me all day until my return to Split! I also had dinner in the restaurant that evening due to a late return, and it was delicious - I can definitely recommend the homemade gnocci. Great place to stay - it made my break in Split very enjoyable and memorable.

This hotel is difficult to find and access with heavy luggage is not easy. There is no porter service. Room was tiny and at best very basic, plus one side of the double bed was against the wall. Breakfast also very basic. 10am checkout time is unpleasant. The best was housekeeping staff who were very friendly and accommodating.

Clean, quiet room, comfortable bed, large cozy towels and bathrobes, plenty of hot water with strong water pressure, two balconies, excellent staff, well lit reception area, and the addition of a massage for each of us made this visit especially nice. The massages were an additional cost, but oh so worth it. Finally, the front desk staff person recommended both the massage and the walking tour which we took ( for a small fee per person) we delightful. The staff people were especially helpful, patient and kind to us. Thank you, I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff from the front desk to the restaurant were always attentive, friendly and helpful. I had 2 visits of 3 nights and was able to leave a large bag there between visits. The location of the hotel couldn't be better with close access to bus and boats, bars and restaurants.

Getting to the hotel is difficult, but with help we got there. The location is fantastic, but quite costly. I think if directions were included with booking, it would cut down on frustration. Park in the bus terminal.

How wonderful it was to spend a week within the walls of the ancient Diocletian's Palace! I was just a few steps away from authentic Dalmatian restaurants, small local shops, a jogging trail to Marjan Hill or the coast and the beach area. The reception provided a map of the city and shared local tips and advice, giving information on where to go and what to see. I even got an umbrella to borrow from the reception. The hotel was clean and quiet. The breakfast was good and varied.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is right in the centre of the old palace and close to the bus and ferry. The interior is very modern and clean. My only real problem with the room is that the bed was extremely uncomfortable. My husband and I both woke up with sore backs. We stayed two nights. There was a lot of noise outside until after midnight on the first night. The second night was quieter. We had supper in the connected restaurant. Absolutely delicious!

Our room on level 1 is compact, with a shower cubicle and standard furnishings. There is no kettle in the room to boil water - it’s a shame as we have to use bottled water which is of course, is not very environmentally friendly. Breakfast, included, is a standard buffet but with the added perk of cook-to- order eggs. Hotel Slavija is located on top of its restaurant, Para Di Soto. There are also a few restaurants in the same area. Its location is very convenient - but that can be its biggest drawback. The church bells will toll at 6 am. Followed by the noise of delivery carts rattling on the paved stone and the sound of a city awakening. It doesn't really stop until after midnight.

What an amazing place, the hotel was conveniently located about 15 meters from the Riva walkway and Adriatic Sea. The parking situation wasn’t communicated well in the site. There is no onsite hotel parking, the hotel has some limited spots in town, but have to reserved in advance. Once I figured that out, the rest of my stay was perfect. A beautiful peaceful place to relax.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in! Small, updated rooms and bathroom. Staff was welcoming, helpful and showed beyond great customer service. The breakfast in the morning was at the restaurant downstairs in a cute boutique cafe. Such a great breakfast with a lot of fresh options and some cooked options. Delicious crepes.

This hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Split old town. All the staff were wonderful and very helpful, and it is by far the best single room I have ever stayed in (and I've stayed in a few), with great views of belltower and the rooftops of Split. Breakfasts were good with a range of options and the opportunity to eat outside. I requested a 'breakfast to go' for one morning as I was on an early morning trip, and it lasted me all day until my return to Split! I also had dinner in the restaurant that evening due to a late return, and it was delicious - I can definitely recommend the homemade gnocci. Great place to stay - it made my break in Split very enjoyable and memorable.

The hotel is ideally positioned in the old town. That said it’s extremely noisy 24/7 so if you are looking for a good nights sleep look elsewhere. This isn’t a gripe it’s fact, the hotel is located next to a lively bar playing loud music until 1am. There are multiple restaurants in the immediate vicinity, although they obviously only contain folk going about their normal business but the bar is an issue and I’m surprised that it’s allowed in such a cultural setting! Breakfasts are adequate I would have liked more choice for the star rating. We had to continually ask for coffee sachets as room service seemed to miss them most days. The shower attachment wasn’t working effectively, for it to slide up and down isn’t a big ask.
