My only complaint would be the parking. Get in early. 7pmish. Not the most trustworthy parking situation as It fills. Day staff was superb. Best I’ve experienced anywhere. Evening/night staff was rude and pretty much said use the nextdoor property’s pool because we’re not cleaning ours today. We’re too busy. Aside from that, great stay!

Loved the free breakfast, hassle-free (and free) parking, and the amazing staff. I also really liked our room overall. My only con was that the gym felt extremely hot—I’m guessing the AC wasn’t working. There were fans, but it was still uncomfortable. As for the room, the water pressure wasn’t the best, and I wish housekeeping came daily instead of every three days. We had a pull-out couch that seemed to have been used previously, so the sheets hadn’t been changed. I’m assuming housekeeping missed it. Thankfully, the front desk staff quickly brought us fresh linens, which I really appreciated. Other than that, I’d definitely stay again!

Nice room , very modern and clean . room for 5 people very big with kitchen , fridge , etc . I will give 5 stars but the only thing that I did not like was that they don’t do the rooms daily ( cleaning , making beds , towels , etc) they said that you have to stay more than 3 days so they do that service

We never got the room cleaned even though they said that we were getting the service 2 times during our 6 days stay. When I asked for the service cause they never came on the days that they told me, the cleaning just tidy up the beds but didn’t do the dishes nor the kitchen or bathroom. Very unpleasant to be doing the cleaning everyday cause the hotel have a policy that you can only get cleaned 1 day if you stay 3 nights, they don’t even take the trash out and when you take the trash out they don’t leave new trash bags.

The hotel was beautiful and the room was so comfortable. We were beyond pleased when we checked in and got settled into our room until the first night, my daughter was laying in bed and a German cockroach climbed up onto her arm. She was mortified and couldn’t stop searching her bed for more!! I shrugged it off like maybe it was a one time fluke. The next morning we were sitting against the wall on the bench dining table when another German cockroach climbed up my husband’s leg. We were very disturbed at this point. We went back to our room and finished our stay until packing up today, my daughter yells there’s a roach on the wall. My husband killed it and we finished packing. My husband went to pick up his backpack to walk out the door and there was another German cockroach climbing up his backpack. We are horrified and extremely disappointed. My husband told the front desk clerk who said that she would make her manager aware and that they’d be contacting an exterminator. Shouldn’t that be a frequent reoccurring thing if you serve food and have rooms with full size kitchens in them. Now I am TERRIFIED that we will be bringing home roaches with us to our home!!

It was a really nice hotel. Very clean and free parking. Only 5 minutes away from both the Premium & Tanger outlets. The only thing is we stayed for 3 nights and housekeeping never came. I believe they would have if requested.

The room was super clean. Which is the most important thing when looking at hotels for me. It seemed to be a newer hotel. The mattress was nice. I will stay here when visiting my daughter at Texas State.

Located right across the freeway from the outlet malls - I could see the malls from our window. And the rooms are more like a spacious apartment that a hotel. Full size fridge, stove top oven, microwave - and dishes, dinnerware! What a great place to come home to after a day of shopping. Best of all was the staff...so eager to please.

Wifi was not working the whole stay and fire alarms went off for 15-20 minutes almost every night/morning if the stay. If you want business travelers you can't just not get your wifi fixed . . .the management knew that there were these issues for several days and just pretended like they never did. Never reached out to apologize or did anything to ensure guests came back. Oh and breakfast ends at 9 am (earliest I've ever seen) another example of not really focusing on the guests experience.

The water was lukewarm, at best, most of the time. Only one morning was it hot enough to shower. Staff said it was for child safety reasons. I think they just wanted to save money

The room was clean and spacious. The only issue was one of those blinking lights, usually the emergency ones when power goes out, but the thing kept blinking throughout the night and was in the center of the room. Also the room has a weird system where the “master switch” has to be on to turn on other lights. The problem with that is it’s dark when you go to turn on lights so you can’t read the label that says master light switch. Other than the light issues, great stay!

Rooms are great. Front desk staff is extremely slow!!! Breakfast was horrible and they ran out of coffee early - and we don’t even drink coffee but guests who do were very upset

Rooms are great, however the service is not. They are not clear on their policies either. If you book on a third party website like Expedia for example, the hotel will charge to directly(after you check out), a $150 non refundable pet deposit, then they also charged the card on file for incidental the same $150, so now your room for one nights ends up being $450.

Very clean! Receptionist was fantastic, friendly, courteous and extremely helpful! Improvements would be a bar/lounge area, suitcase stand, and a way to run the fan continuously.

Just ended our family of 4 Alamo bowl trip and decided to stay in San Marcos for the food and shopping. This place was great. Very clean and new with friendly staff. Close to lots of restaurants and the outlets. Breakfast was also well done with good selection of food. Definitely stay here again.
