The property was most pleasing. The next door motel was like a third world country. Luckily there is a security gate preventing easy access. Overall really good for the price. No weird smells and the air conditioning worked well.

As a solo female traveler, i will only stay at places that provide security and interior room doors, which this propert had. I was driving forbtwo dat journey, and the purpose of my stay was simply, clean comfortable for sleeping. The property is not new and is your basic motel. However, for the price, it was clean, bed comfortable, and apartment size refrigerator in the kitchenette. Plus, i was traveling with my dog, and the pet fee was $10, which was reasonable.

Quick overnight. When you get there it looks a bit sketchy. The lobby guy is behind several panels of bullet proof glass. The lobby area and halls smells bad and is worn well past its time.. but the room was clean and re done. I was very surprised after the initial impression. Very nice and clean.

The check-in took a little longer than expected but wasn't bad room was clean everything nice looking bathroom was clean everything worked the only thing I didn't like was all the people standing around it the entrances asking for money and one of the doors coming in from the parking lot no key would work. Then one of our keys stopped working all together and it took an hour for somebody to come to the office so we could get a new one made. Then we moved upstairs and there was somebody standing in the hallway every time we come in or out asking for money. That is really the only issue.

The property is aged, but the staff has done a lot to maintain it. VERY CLEAN. Amenities (extra towels, dishes, etc) kept in office, so must be requested by guest. All in all - great stay for a fair price.

Checking in was easy. The staff member at the counter was polite and helpful. The building appears to be going through renovations. They are keeping the work areas tidy. The building in secured. The only way to the Access the rooms is to use a key card to get into the hallways.

I checked in very late after a long drive and the staff was very friendly, the parking was very well-lit, the hallways were well lit and the room was super clean and very quiet. I slept like a baby. Perfect affordable place to stop for my cross-country drive.

The lobby gives you a gals sense of security with its cleanliness. The halls and stairwells are pretty dirty. The floor in our room appeared to be clean, but it was sticky no matter where you walked. Bed sheets and blankets had stains and cigarette burn holes. There were also places where an inexperienced handyman or maintenance person did tile work and dry wall patches around the sink and tub, pieces of trim missing around the tub. It was just not a great overall experience. I realize it was a cheap stay but it was dirty and not well kept, we ended up going to Walmart and getting a $20 bed in a bag to have clean bedding.

After my 1st attempt to move from the 1st floor bc other guest were having what seemed like recess for adults...i was finally allowed to change..to a quieter, but on the 2nd floor. Smoking but looked like it had never been cared for...Roaches, Bathroom..disgusting. i had to sweep all the dead roaches and then noticed..there were several ALIVE in the area...and in my room.

Overall, the hotel was spacious and clean. My only complaint is the lack of power outlets. They had a nice TV and desk combo, but if you needed to plug in your laptop, the only option was a power outlet near the sink that you had to turn on a timer to provide service. Besides that, it's Motel/Studio 6, so the only comfort is the bed, as all the other furniture is plastic.

Room was very big and seemed cold. Very thin low quality bedding. We were right by the outside door which people opened and closed all night long with an earth rattling slam. Non smoking room, but people smoking in the entryway filtered in through the large cracks in the door. It was clean and cheap. I have been in worse, have been in better.

The hotel is one of the cheaper and cleaner hotels in the area, which is the reason for choosing but I will not be staying at this location again because of the owners or staff. If you stay more than one day, they want to come in the room everyday and do what they call a maintenance check. And you have to exit the room for them to do this. This gives no privacy and made me uncomfortable. Outside of that, the rooms are decent, clean, and suitable for a quick stay but for the above reason, I will not be returning.

I have discussed with Expedia: I was unable to complete registration at Motel 6 when I arrived in their lobby at about 3:45 pm today because I had submitted my room request on-line as Lisa Bengelsdorf; however, my VISA card & my TX DL lists me as Alisa Bengelsdorf. (I routinely drop the “A” since it causes so much trouble when people try to pronounce my name.) The Motel 6 front desk clerk was not about to allow me to register since she felt I wasn’t who I said I was. Seemed odd to me since I had registered on line with a credit card listing me as Alisa. Oh well. Luckily there was a motel next door to Motel 6 that was happy to let myself & my dog spend the night with them. Since I was planning to stay at Motel 6 but was not allowed to once I arrived, I called Expedia to have the reservation canceled and Expedia has agreed not to charge me, per confirmation # 5535819. I have never encountered this issue with my name before in all my years of renting motel rooms. I will never attempt to stay at a Motel 6 again.

The hotel itself was nice enough, but I felt pretty unsafe in the parking lot. As I was getting into my car after checking in, I was hollered at by a strange man hanging out in his car asking "what I was fixing to get into" so I made a few laps around the parking lot before beginning to unload into my room. The check in window has the thickest bullet proof glass I've ever seen, and the rooms have stickers on the door reminding guests to double lock the doors for their safety. The room was comfortable enough with plenty of space and amenities, and as long as I was actually in my hotel room I felt safe and comfortable.

Area looked sketchy with unsavory characters milling around late at night. Crashed out cars parked in the lot. Heavy accent on the clerk made check in difficult. Heavy pot reek entering the building and no elevator near the room making us drag suitcases up stairs. Dirty floor in the room, and after washing my face and drying it with a towel off the rack I see a nasty lipstick print on the backside of the towel. Room was noisy with a busted down car with a loose fan belt revving his engine outside the window. How this gets 8 stars on any reviews is beyond me.

Hotel was nasty and smells bad. Hod to move to another room but it wasn’t that much better. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. No restaurant anywhere near the hotel. I would suggest for a full refund of my money.

I don't have any problems with the property but there's not any place to eat really around here and there's one gas station that doesn't have a very wide variety of anything but I love the staff the front desk is completely awesome Miss Hannah is wonderful

The staff were very friendly. Our room was very clean and we had the kitchenette, so we were able to buy food to keep in the fridge. We had got microwaveable items so that helps save money on eating out. My husband and I will most definitely be booking again when we’re in the area.

I enjoyed the property. Clean, comfortable and no sign of any bugs. My only complaint was my in room coffee maker didn’t work, but they do offer coffee in the lobby. I would highly recommend this establishment.
