Loved the buffet and pools. The beach was sandy, lots of chairs, a bar, and an ocean pool which was great for the little kids to play in and it also had swings. The staff were so friendly and they had a full gym set up.

Overall the resort was fantastic. Terence was great and helped us with anything we needed. We loved the salt water pool, swings, quiet pool and food selection. The entertainment was excellent. The only thing that would have made it better was the quiet pool water level was low most of the time we were there and so the water wasn't being filtered and was filthy.

The beach is a spectacular little oasis of sand, shallow clear waters, and at one end you will find fantastic waves for surf or boogie board. You can walk to the south beach for 1 km.to get excercise. There are many palapas that provide shade and several comfy loungers. There is now a pickle ball court that we found well maintained. The jungles around the property are beautiful and filled with an array of tropical birds.

Staff was excellent, especially our Expedia concierge Jessy! He checked in with us every day and was so helpful. We also enjoyed the 4pm food and drink resort activity classes. The proximity to the beach was the highlight of the trip though! Loved that they had boogie boards and surf boards for guests to use. The saltwater pool is also wonderful. The main negative is the noise, every night we were there (Mon-Thurs) there was a wedding with loud music right outside our room until 11 or 12pm. It was so loud that the room would actually vibrate. That was not great.

This was a solid 3 star for us. The absolute best feature of the resort is the beach without a doubt. Clean soft sand, no coral just some rocks, great swimming and snorkelling if you know where to go. My note for this would be that they do not put out nearly enough chairs on the beach there needs to be double. The resort is on the smaller side but the capacity It can hold makes It feel smaller. Over the weekend we stayed there we felt cramped and It was very difficult for us to get reservations anywhere due to the amount of people in the resort for 4/10 days we stayed. The resort is open to the locals in Mexico which I think is great however once the locals filled the resort up It is extremely loud and crowded and does not feel like a 4 star resort in the slightest there are no quiet spaces on the property especially once the evening music starts. The food was excellent I have no complaints there. Not the biggest variety It does get old after 10 days but the quality of food itself was amazing. Every single staff member was AMAZING. The plumbing is awful and there is very obvious maintenance that needs to be done that doesn’t seem to be getting done fast enough. Toilet seats missing, the showers in the rooms are terrible. The maids only make your bed and give you more towels. Our sheets were not changed once in the 10 days we were there. Overall this is criticism to the owners and facility itself. Price does not match experience in our opinion.

It was very nice vacation. Clean room. I was pleasantly impressed with food choices nice beach area, you can swim in the ocean, if waves are not aggressive, lots of surfers. However, not enough chairs on the beach. Cecilia, the concierge is very helpful and responsive on WhatsApp. Our safe didn’t work. It was fixed right away. Ricardo at the breakfast buffet, the server, was exceptional, no need to wait for coffee. It was crowded, it’s recommended to go to buffet early if you don’t want to wait in line to be seated, or have easy access to food choices. The property has beautiful jungle setting and beach cliffs. It was a perfect choice for our short vacation.

1. The buffet was full of flies on the food. 2. Reservations are required at fine dining, during my five-day stay, I was only able to reserve once. It was booked everyday. 3. There were cockroaches in our room. 4. Our door fobs bracelet disprogram. With a cring baby we had to go to the lobby to get it reprogrammed.

I liked the beautiful pool by the beach. I was disappointed about the ocean view from my balcony, the only thing I could see was the wall. The room had a weird smell. I made a reservation for three nights but I decided to go to another resort after the first night. I wanted to go to the buffet for breakfast but there was a very long line. I have been to several resorts and this is the first time I had to get in line to have breakfast. I couldn’t sleep the night that I spent there because there were service carts going back and forth in the hallway, very noisy. The Expedia concierge did a great job trying to find me a better room although the resort was not what I was expecting.

Besides a great view of their beach, the resort needs an overall corrections! Some of their restaurants roofs were leaking when rain was coming! The pedestrian passages thru the buildings and outsides were dirty and their ambience filled with bad smell! The given bedrooms were not cleaned thoroughly. We didn’t feel comfortable living in them. The variety of food selections were very limited and the taste and quality of foods were very poor. And because of its distance from city and lack of souvenirs stores, we had a hard time going anywhere to roam around. And finally, travelling to the purchased attractions and back were separate from their cost of expensive attractions! we’re not going back!

This property is definitely not a 5 star resort, it’s more like a 1 star. Rooms are extremely dirty and outdated, upon our visit our rooms ac went out and staff didn’t seem to care about doing anything about it, power kept going off, flooding in rooms, dirty bathrooms(kind of disgusted by the conditions of this resort) and food, food was inedible- buffet had more flies on all food than you can imagine and room service was definitely the worst I’ve ever had. Always took 2-3 hours to deliver food and the quality of the food was terrible.

Todo muy limpio, el personal fue muuuuy amable, hasta sorprende su amabilidad. Las comida buffet estaba bien, los restaurantes de comida italiana y asiática BUENÍSIMOS. La habitación fue cómoda, a excepción del aire acondicionado, que solamente quitaba el aire caliente, pero no enfriaba, así que tarde o temprano daba calor estar en la habitación o en cualquier restaurante. Ojalá le den mantenimiento a las albercas, se ven algunos rincones ya desgastados, en la alberca de adultos no te puedes acercar a la orilla para disfrutar de la vista, porque llega olor a agua estancada. Muy buenos shows, ojalá hubiera tocado más tiempo el grupo en vivo, fue genial su show! La estancia en general fue agradable y disfrutamos mucho!

We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet with the fresh tacos, waffles, pancakes, and omelettes. The entire facility was immaculately clean. Very much appreciated the amazing service from all of the staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, especially our concierge Terence and the restaurant managers Brayan, Oscar, and Tony. Also enjoyed the services provided from the resort photographer Rocha, had lots of fun having photo shoots. The nightly entertainment was great. Really appreciated how easy it was to schedule reservations and having late check out provided with efficient bellhop services. The beach was perfect at this resort- sandy, spacious, and usually easy to find chairs and shade. Also appreciated that the vendors were not intrusive on the beach. The only critique I would have is the food quality was only average. I did like that the sports lounge had a small buffet option open most of the day/night so you could find a snack regardless of time. They did their best to accommodate my partner's dietary restrictions but the buffets inconsistent labelling made meals a little harder to navigate. Not a lot of vegetarian options. I myself as a meat eater was not impressed with the flavor of the food, but at least there was a fair variety. Overall we enjoyed our time at the resort due to the excellent service, beautiful beach, and well maintained facilities.

Resort is extremely old and run down, smells like sewage in the rooms, beds are uncomfortable and small. A/C is either non-existing in restaurants or broken. They have loud music playing until very late hours which could be heard inside our room. Food is not bad but not much selection. The worst experience for us is the departure, we booked a shuttle for 12pm and then by 12:30pm (after being told it’s coming) they told us there’s no shuttle or taxi coming for us. Place was a gong show and very disorganized, almost made us miss our flight back. We have stayed in many resorts for the same or less pricing that are much better.

This resort was probably nice when it was first built. It’s a beautiful small beach, but the buildings were all rundown. In need of a of of upkeep. Food was average. Staff was nice. Decks small. We paid for panoramic view and it was partial ocean. You cannot sit on the decks they are so small and if you did you wouldn’t be able to see over the edge. Pillows were lumpy. Bathrooms falling apart. The adult pool was dirty and the music horrible and loud until midnight. Too much when your room faces that way. Main pool was nice. Staff was nice.

We really enjoyed the setting most notably the beach access. The buildings are showing their age and the overall standard has dropped since our last visit 8 years ago. The most disappointing aspect was the constant attempts to upsell us on services. We felt like most experiences were meant to extract more money from us. We won’t be going back. Lastly, the resort allowed for day passes which included busses arriving daily with people who used all access and left in the evening. Not exactly a ‘resort experience’ for those staying for a week or longer.

They made us pay twice for a room we already paid for. When we arrived they tried to give us a small room with 2 twin beds and a garden view. We booked king suite with ocean view. I even called Expedia to confirm and they in turn med called hotel said can’t guarantee a king bed but a double bed. We got a double bed alright double single twin beds!!! We had to pay additional $1,600 for the room we already paid Expedia for!!! I heard someone tell me they were also doing this at Cabo. Then the sales pitch to buy something like time share as soon as we arrived. Don’t give us a minute or a glad of water. As they walked us to our room they told us we had to be at a certain place for bkfst. Then began their 2 1/2 hour sales pitch that was only suppose to be an hour. They are also not good at losing. The want the sale or else attitude city!!! Other than that, food was mehhh. 1 five star Italian restaurant, that’s it. Other restaurants and buffet needs to step up their game. The other employees were awesome especially housekeeping, mini bar and pool bar staff.

My last time here was in September. I gave a 5 star review. This trip was full of disappointments and more expensive. Most of the staff tried hard to help with issues but the system in place needs organization! 1- We had to request the champagne provided by Expedia 5 times before it finally arrived hot in a bucket with no ice on the last day. 2- It was impossible to make dinner reservations.They send you to an app and all restaurants were booked our entire stay. Reservations close at 3 pm. Finally we speak to someone who makes us a reservation and she made it for the wrong day and time she told us. We missed the reservation.We were told to call guest services between 8-11 am to fix this. I called several times. Nobody answers. Instead of sleeping in, I was doing this. I called 0 and they told me to go meet them in person. It was 8am. No thanks! 3- Thankfully we paid extra to upgrade to Family Selection dining. We enjoyed The Nest for almost every meal since we didn’t want to do the buffet and it was our only option. 4. The Butler at Family selection was very rude. We were told to meet him to eat at the Nest. He was clueless. I explained in Spanish what I was told. He said well it seems like you know everything so just go over there! He was nasty. I just walked away. 5-Last day, running late to airport, we were told to wait for help with luggage. Nobody showed up. So we carried our own luggage through long walkways. Beautiful Property. Great Entertainment.

Would not recommend this hotel It is expensive and it's not a 5 star hotel. They need to learn what is a good service and a good experience for their clients. Don't have enough people to provide a quality service. You have to wait more than an hour to get a table at any of the restaurants. We overpaid to get a premium or VIP service and we did not receive any additional benefit on that upgrade. Very disappointing experience.

The staff try to upsell you as soon as you arrive. The road to get to the resort is full of huge potholes. You are limited to buffets unless you make reservations for the specialist restaurants. We were only able to eat at one specialty restaurant because we weren’t allowed to make reservations when we arrived, or so we were told by the receptionist at check in. Also, their walkways are extremely unsafe as they are slippery and the workers insist on doing landscaping and mopping during high transit hours.

Booked my trip and then when I got there, they told me the only way to go to some of the restaurants was to purchase the higher package and then they didn’t get our reservations done but allowed us to go to the restaurants as long as we were gonna buy champagne or lobster even though the tables weren’t full. Complete scam and then had people try to corner you with a timeshare type program offering 300.00 towards towards hotel services however I booked massages and got the price and then as soon as I told him I was using my bucks they raise the price so you’re just paying for it anyway ridiculousness

Checkin process was challenging as I booked 8 rooms four king and four double beds. I assigned names to these rooms so that couples got the king beds and friends got the double beds. I, as the host had to change rooms four times upon check in to get my guests the proper rooms which still didn’t occur.

Loved the resort layout and food options. The buffet was wonderful. We liked most of the a la carte, it depends on what you order. Funny enough the Italian one was just ok, in my opinion. Staff was attentive, busy at times. Rooms fine. We had a nice ocean view. While there, we were side swiped by a hurricane, brought some large waves. The resort was fine, as were on a small cliff. Bottom line, I’d go back, however not cheap or easy to get into town if you want to leave resort. Oh and this was the first all inclusive where we had to book and pay for our own transportation there from the airport.

We have stayed at several Grand Palladium properties. This was by far the smallest and oldest hotel. There were less dining options than the other resorts and overall the resort was just a bit more run down with a lot of common areas lacking air conditioning. With that being said, service was excellent, the food was the best of any of the other Palladium resorts I have been to and the views and beach were outstanding.

Everyone was so friendly. I loved the resort and the feel of the resort. It was clean. It is a little tired looking, especially in the bathrooms, and we did have a problem with brown water for a few hours one day, but overall, a decent place. If I could suggest one thing that was an inconvenience, the location. Mostly because UBER will not come pick you up because it is too far away. You had to rely on Taxis which were 50 dollars each way if you wanted to go to Puerto Vallarta. I wish the resort had better transportation to and from the airport and to and from Puerto Vallarta. Maybe an hourly shuttle service?

We enjoyed our stay at the resort. Be prepared for a workout. Built into the side of a cliff, it is not flat and there are no elevators. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good, especially at Portofino and Internatuonal. Reservatuins were difficult to get with our group of 10 which was disappointing. Even if we could get a reservation for the entire group, we were unable to sit together which was even more disappointing. Portofino made an exception for our "after wedding dinner." We were able to push two tables together for eating at the buffet. The wedding was beautifully planned and executed. Again because we were a small group, my daughter and future son-in- law were unable to use their balcony of choice but, it was still very nice. The other thing was transportation. It was not provided from/to the airport since we booked through Expedia rather than the resort travel club. Not a big deal but taxis were pretty pricey...$80US for my husband and I which we expected. My other daughter and her spouse did book through the resort but were not told of the resort transportation service until their departure. They paid $145US for their taxi to the resort. Live and learn. Still it was an enjoyable week.

The property was extremely well maintained and clean. The property size was ideal and the grounds were beautiful. The staff was friendly and responsive. The food was inconsistent. We found the breakfasts at the buffet very good. The international restaurant and Mexican restaurant had excellent food quality. The Asian restaurant was good. We did not find the food at the Italian restaurant to be of the same overall quality. The buffet at dinner was lacking variety and we preferred many of the items served at lunch over what was there for dinner.

We have stayed at several Grand Palladium properties. This was by far the smallest and oldest hotel. There were less dining options than the other resorts and overall the resort was just a bit more run down with a lot of common areas lacking air conditioning. With that being said, service was excellent, the food was the best of any of the other Palladium resorts I have been to and the views and beach were outstanding.

Even it is all inclusive the food was good. Didn't like the reservation process for the restaurant as the app didn't work and coudnt eat were we wanted

The food options were limited if you dont make reso at the restaurants which are hard to make, one night we had a case of food poisoning

This property is definitely not a 5 star resort, it’s more like a 1 star. Rooms are extremely dirty and outdated, upon our visit our rooms ac went out and staff didn’t seem to care about doing anything about it, power kept going off, flooding in rooms, dirty bathrooms(kind of disgusted by the conditions of this resort) and food, food was inedible- buffet had more flies on all food than you can imagine and room service was definitely the worst I’ve ever had. Always took 2-3 hours to deliver food and the quality of the food was terrible.

Great resort for families. Pool area was perfect for young kids. Buffet was good, always a variety. Dinner restaurants were great. Rooms unfortunately weren’t very sound proof from hallway noise but other then that enjoyed our stay.

It was very nice vacation. Clean room. I was pleasantly impressed with food choices nice beach area, you can swim in the ocean, if waves are not aggressive, lots of surfers. However, not enough chairs on the beach. Cecilia, the concierge is very helpful and responsive on WhatsApp. Our safe didn’t work. It was fixed right away. Ricardo at the breakfast buffet, the server, was exceptional, no need to wait for coffee. It was crowded, it’s recommended to go to buffet early if you don’t want to wait in line to be seated, or have easy access to food choices. The property has beautiful jungle setting and beach cliffs. It was a perfect choice for our short vacation.

The food terrible ( im was sick from 3 days diarrhea omg.talk same more people aruond 15 more the was diarrhea ( not recommended)
