Courtyard by Marriott Montreal Laval

Check in was a bit long only because alot of people got to the hotel at the same time, however, once at the counter the service was fast and efficient. The only issue was the parking space, again the hotel was very busy so I could not find a parking space in the section reserved for the hotel, had to park a bit further and the parking attendants were reluctant to let me park there but ended up accepting after I explained there were not parking spots available in the hotel section. Very nice hotel, very clean and very quiet. I was there for a show at Place Bell which is right across the street, also many restaurant choices. Would definitely go back if I had another show at the Place Bell.

Very clean and quiet. Easy parking attached just 12$/day. Right across from metro station to take into Old Montreal. Bar/ restaurant service also excellent and good food

Great hotel, recently built, EV charging stations in the underground garage, great Italian restaurant, underground tunnel access to other facilities in the area, including a metro station.

Parking price was extreme, $70 for one night😳

Best night sleep of my recent trip. Room was clean, spacious and had a sophisticated feel. Friendly and helpful staff. Property seemed fairly new. Quiet with options to do, including an elevated outdoor terrace and bar, nearby shops and dining options. Located conveniently outside of the downtown area if you have a car and looking to escape from the crowds. Within short driving distance of charming Montreal areas and must visit places.

Love everything about this property but the parking. The parking should be free or lower fee for the hotel guest like other hotels around the area

All lamps cannot be turn on otherwise this was great I like the recharge area for electric car

The windows had handprints all over them were not clean. Everything else was clean. The mattress was not comfortable. But the location was fantastic

The bathroom wasn’t that clean, lot’s of hair in the shower and in the vanity. The back of the bathroom door was not clean at all. Also the sofa was dirty, full of crumbs of something and some hair.

The room lights were complicated. Took me 30 mins to figure out how to turn off lights.

Relatively new hotel with all the modern conveniences. Large room, and comfortable bed - no issues at all.

We had a beautiful room that was super comfortable

We arrived during the heat wave on June 19th and departed on June 21st. Air Conditioning would not go below 24.5* celsius on the first evening we arrived, resulting in a sleepless night due to heat. I contacted the front desk in the morning to relay issues, and they sent up two technicians to "reset" the AC, which they said would take 1 hour. The gentleman spoke nothing to me, fiddled around for 30 minutes, and left, not one word spoken. I left for the day and returned that night; the room was sweltering hot. Seemed even warmer than before. Called the front desk once more and explained. The associate put me on hold and returned, stating they would move us to another room with assurance the room would be the "same". room was similar but without a tub, and included a stand-up shower, the previous room included a tub. AC was working so we settled. During the night we were robbed of sleep once more because there was a surging noice for 15 to 30 seconds, every 2 minutes of what sounded like a well pump or something mechanical surging that rang all night and the morning. check out that morning I brought it to the associate's attention stating they moved us from the 3rd floor to a new room on the 9th, she said "oh room #910" I had not informed her of the room # yet... she knew the exact room I was talking about, which led my wife to add, "So you've had complaints about that room before, obviously!" They intentionally put us in a previously complained about room. Last time Marriot!

Courtyard music played to 11pm and started up at 7am again. Poor sound sound proofing in room.

Hôtel superbe avec tout à côté. La seule chose est que l’air climatisée ne fournissait pas dans la chambre, donc il faisait très chaud. Décevant pour un hôtel neuf!

Let me start off by saying the staff was absolutely amazing! I stay at a lot of hotels for work and the employees here were friendly, funny, and always willing to go above and beyond to help. The hotel is new, but not necessarily finished. There was a lot of construction still going on during my stay and unfortunately, I was located on the ninth floor, which is directly below the gym so there was a lot of noise above my room. Additionally, the bathroom didn’t have a fan so it got steamy quite quickly, and switches activated lights really confusing. Overall, this day was decent, but I think I just expected a bit more from a brand new hotel.

Les oreillers peu confortable, le lendemain nous avions des douleurs au cou.. pour la douche aucun rebord dans le bas ce qui fait que l'eau se ramasse partout dans la salle de bain peu pratique. Gens très froid à l'accueil..

The booking was paid on expedia. When we were ready to check-out, the receptionist said the booking didn’t look paid for. She wasted our time

Staff were fabulous, rooms were clean I have two concerns: 1- they didn’t clean the room while we’re there for two nights. I think every morning the room should be cleaned 2- each breakfast took 45 minutes to be ready like omlet not very special things , maybe they need more staffs for the kitchen

I reserved a king since bed and they gave my room to someone else

Amazing front desk staff. Made my week long stay extremely pleasent. Props to an amazing team. The suites were fantastic and would gladly stay at a courtyard suite again. Signed up for the membership because of the perks. Phenomenal rewards perks. Got yourself a long time Marriot fan.

We booked a king bed and they only had 2 queens when we checked in.

Brand new hotel at the terminus of the orange Metro subway line. Convenient, more affordable option for F1 weekend. Multiple good restaurants minutes from the front door. On site restaurant excellent for breakfast.

Very close to Place Bell

Excellent customer service. The hotel and room is very clean with nice modern furnishings. We watched a concert at Place Bell and the hotel is literally just accross the road. Good restaurant choices around. Very near to the metro. Id give an extra star if we had fluffier towels :)

This was our first visit to Montreal. Though the hotel is great, it's in Laval, about 25 minutes from downtown Montreal via metro, which is walking distance from the hotel. Nice but limited eateries around. We did not explorer much as we spent our time exploring Montreal.

Super convenient location with parking!

Conveniently located right next to Place Bell for concerts and across the street from the underground train station that will take you to the shopping district of St Hubert, as well as to downtown Montreal / Old Montreal. Lots of eating options close by but the hotel restaurant is very good. Staff and facilities top notch.

Perfect location directly across the street from a Place Bell. The in-hotel restaurant was amazing and staff were very courteous. Great experience overall.

I ordered my room to Expedia and when I checked in they ask me to pay an extra 100 $ …..On top of that I ordered for breakfast a omelette western and it was not cooked properly with bread with no butter or margarine on it and for coffee they served you with coffee cup ☕️ so small that you have to ask the waiter to constantly come fill it up….TERRIBLE

Je trouve très dommage le manque d’information sur le stationnement souterrain qui doit être payant (12$). Faire payer tes clients pour que leur voiture soit en sécurité est triste. En plus qu’aucun déjeuner n’est offert gratuitement. Minimalement un déjeuner continental aurait été apprécié pour la clientèle. Beaucoup de frais ici et la. Enfin, c’est un vrai labyrinthe ! Vous devez aller demander des précisions à l’accueil.
