The hotel was clean. It had modern decor. As a plus there was a restaurant on site. The staff was friendly and stayed in touch by text message. The drawbacks for us were that there was no coffee maker in the room and parking spaces were limited.

This is a really great boutique hotel. Everything is new and crisp. They have wonderful amenities, such as complementary bike rentals, evening s’mores at the fire pit, etc. The hotel is walking distance to everything in Saint Michael’s, which was a total plus. Parked our car when we checked in and didn’t need it again. Complimentary breakfast is also nice.

Couldn’t check in until after 4:00 and after I got a text saying the room was ready there was no one at front desk to check me in. There were no elevators and room was on second floor. Very difficult carrying luggage up the steps!

Perfect from arrival to departure. We did happy hour at the restaurant which was high value and delicious. They also have a luxurious garden fire pit and smores experience included during summer. Continental breakfast also included. It’s such a well-run, generous experience that reminds me of Sonoma but without feeling gouged ;)

We loved the overall aesthetic and design. The staff was welcoming, the room was spacious, and the location was perfect. The food at RUSE is outstanding. If you don’t want to splurge for dinner, at least sample, the happy hour dishes. Making s’mores by the huge fire pit and riding bikes in the morning were fun extras that made our stay one to remember.

The room was very clean, which I appreciated; however there was an overpowering smell of bleach/cleaning solution when we first entered the room that lingered for quite some time. Perhaps you could consider a solution that is as effective but less toxic smelling. The property is beautiful, and we were delighted that Ruse was open for dinner on this visit, as we had an exceptional meal. Our server, Brittany, was personable and efficient. I found it strange that an up cocktail was served in a coupe type glass usually used for champagne; however that bothered me far less than the fact that the bartender did not know how to make a gimlet. I received something that resembled a margarita made with vodka, and the glass had a sugared rim! Perhaps some remedial training would help.

I could not be happier with my stay at The Wildset. The staff were gracious and welcoming. My room, as well as all common areas, were very clean. Luxurious bed linens on a terrifically comfortable bed. The grounds were beautifully landscaped. Perfect location on Talbot St. within walking distance of all shopping and harbor attractions. The entire property was lovely and I would definitely return again. Highly recommend!

Great stay. Room was very spacious but it needs a lounge chair or some kind of seating to relax in. The built in bench along wall is not comfortable and it’s underneath the TV if you want to watch from a seat. Otherwise it was great.

This hotel was wonderful overall and we will stay there again. The hotel has a brand new feeling and it’s impeccably clean. The room have a lot of light. However, I will need to bring an eye mask because I need it darker for sleep. I will also request a room away from Talbot street because we could hear the cars throughout the evening. The bonfire and free snores were wonderful and the free bike rental is a nice touch as the town is very bike friendly. The free breakfast was a nice touch too!

The hotel itself was beautiful. It’s a perfect location at the end of the downtown area. They had a light breakfast included which was delicious. Some other notable amenities were the use of their bikes and s’mores at the fire pit. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was a nice balcony attached. The only complaint that I had was that the walls were so thin that we could clearly hear the couple in the room next to ours. This fact seems to be one that should not be overlooked for the price of the stay.

The Wildset is a great, convenient place to stay. Everything to do is within walking distance. Our room was spacious, very clean and even included a fireplace although we didn't need to use it. We at at the onsite restaurant, Ruse, and found it to be excellent. When visiting St. Michael's in the future, we will definitely look to stay there again.

Loved the restaurant !! Clean accommodations & gorgeous!! Bit disappointed when I was out at dinner and asked if they would leave a S’mores basket at my door too do later at the fire pit and they said that it was not a problem and when we got back from dinner, there was no basket at my door. :((

The Wildset is absolutely beautiful—modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The amenities were excellent (we loved having the bikes and the delicious breakfast included). The restaurant on the property was phenomenal, and every staff member we encountered was warm and welcoming. They even surprised me with a handwritten calligraphy card for my birthday, which made my trip feel extra special. What a wonderful stay—we will definitely be back!

The Wildset was a fabulous stay. A quick getaway for the weekend. I loved the texts we received throughout our stay about event updates and checking in to make sure everything was wonderful. The property and rooms were fantastic and well cared for. Clean and great furnishings.

We were not permitted into the room until exactly 4pm (Check-in time) so be aware of the later check-in and limited flexibility. The room was very comfortable and clean, I wish there were more places to hang hand towels between use. The breakfast was poor, limited options and the quiche was cold. We ate elsewhere the next day.

The main house has been beautifully converted. The hallways are naturally lit during the day (skylights) and the rooms are spacious and modern. The sitting areas on two porches were a nice touch with an activity area in the front and a garden area in the back. Very pleasant. The restaurant, Ruse, was elegant for dining and served equally well for the morning continental breakfast buffet. The location on St. Michael's main shopping street extremely convenient.

Great location to all the shops and dining in the area. The room was spacious, very clean, and well decorated. Also loved the welcome gift for the dogs. Staff was also friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay.

This hotel was very nice. Room was very spacious and clean. The people at the front desk were very nice. I love that everything was walkable. That was really nice. The was a nice size parking lot so we didn’t have to move our car at all since we walked.

I could not be happier with my stay at The Wildset. The staff were gracious and welcoming. My room, as well as all common areas, were very clean. Luxurious bed linens on a terrifically comfortable bed. The grounds were beautifully landscaped. Perfect location on Talbot St. within walking distance of all shopping and harbor attractions. The entire property was lovely and I would definitely return again. Highly recommend!

The Wildset is a great, convenient place to stay. Everything to do is within walking distance. Our room was spacious, very clean and even included a fireplace although we didn't need to use it. We at at the onsite restaurant, Ruse, and found it to be excellent. When visiting St. Michael's in the future, we will definitely look to stay there again.

Our room was lovely and exactly as described online. Loved the complementary snacks. Breakfast was delicious. We were particularly impressed with the guest services. Everyone was gracious, helpful, and welcoming. Dining at Ruse is a must!! Make reservations in advance. The food and service are amazing.

My wife and I went to St Michael's for a post holiday getaway. Can't say enough on what a great experience we had at the Wildset! The hotel, the rooms, and the grounds are beautiful and spotless. The restaurant within the hotel - Ruse - is also outstanding! Our bartenders Dan and Tanner did a terrific job and made the night very memorable, we will definitely be going back!

What a gem of a hotel! My husband and I had a short trip to a nearby town for a night and in looking for a hotel I stumbled upon this one. It looked adorable so I booked it. What a fantastic find! The hotel was stylish, beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner at the restaurant Ruse and were not surprised to hear that the chef had just been nominated for a James Beard award!! This place was an absolute home run and I can’t wait for another opportunity to stay again if we’re in the vicinity!

We were not permitted into the room until exactly 4pm (Check-in time) so be aware of the later check-in and limited flexibility. The room was very comfortable and clean, I wish there were more places to hang hand towels between use. The breakfast was poor, limited options and the quiche was cold. We ate elsewhere the next day.

Perfect from arrival to departure. We did happy hour at the restaurant which was high value and delicious. They also have a luxurious garden fire pit and smores experience included during summer. Continental breakfast also included. It’s such a well-run, generous experience that reminds me of Sonoma but without feeling gouged ;)

The Wildset is a must stay in St. Michaels. Great location, wonderful staff and service. Make sure you dine at their location for dinner, RUSE, one of the best restaurants I have ever dined in. Wonderful time and will definitely will go back!

The Wildset is a wonderful, relaxing stay in St. Michael's. Clean, bright, comfortable and convenient with a great restaurant on site called the Ruse. Continental breakfasts were superb. The outside fire pit was spectacular and the hotel gave us s'more kits to make our own treat around the fire. We loved every moment.
