My Family In Monterrey - Hostel

No cuenta con estacionamiento como menciona en el anuncio

Es una elección excelente si vienes para estancias cortas, o si te la quieres pasar vagando por la ciudad, las habitaciones están cómodas y aunque haya más gente ahí tienen cortinas para la privacidad de cada cama, no hay mucho espacio para almacenaje y cuenta con casilleros en las habitaciones, rentan candados en recepción para cerrarlos, si no traes toalla ellos rentan y venden las cremita y jabones típicos de los horeles. En general mi experiencia fue muy buena y no tuve ningún problema para llegar, está bien ubicado y cuenta con cocina para preparar tus alimentos si llevas.

Todo excelente, el único detalle que le resta puntos es que no tiene un lugar asignado para estacionamiento y tienes que andar buscando donde dejar tu coche.

El lugar está muy limpio y seguro, lo único malo es que solo tiene 2 espacios para estacionamiento. Así que si llevas carro, tienes que tener esto en cuenta, ya que de no alcanzar lugar, hay que pagar el día en algún estacionamiento público.

I thought they offered everything you could have asked for: drinking water, privacy cover and outlets at the beds, lockers, a towel and showers, they might have had laundry too but I didn't need it. All of that in a cool looking place and convenient location. When I was there, I think I was the only non-native Spanish speaker which means it's a good opportunity to practice what you've learned, but at least practice vocabulary for things you might need like the amenities mentioned. 👍

A big, pleasant surprise. I chose this property for the price and location, with the preconceived idea that it was going to be a bad experience. When I arrived at the hostel, I was pleasantly surprised to see the property well maintained, located in a safe and very Instagramable part of the city. The rooms were bigger that I imagined and to my surprise very clean. The lower floor has about five showers and restrooms with privacy features to make guests feel safe. Unlike other hostels that I have visited, My Family, provides clean sheets and towels, toilet paper, napkins, and a kitchen room with everything guests need to store and microwave food. Check in and out was easy. The staff was pleasant and available 24/7. I traveled with a family of young adults and stayed in the quadruple room which has a big queen size bed good enough for someone 6'2" and a bunk bed with two twin beds. The room was huge and had a working AC ! a big plus when traveling to Monterrey. I totally recommend this place.

Wonderful stay! Only thing I don't like is the open air bathrooms.

This is definitely a hostel, so shared rooms (unless you reserve a private room), but it is clean, the wifi is very good (320 mbps up and down according to ookla), the front desk woman is very kind, they provide a bath towel, and it is located in a very old part of town (the street is very narrow). It would be helpful to bring a combination lock to lock up your valuables in the provided lockers in the shared rooms. The nearby restaurant "Madre Oaxaca" looks like it has a great mole dish.

Si bien el precio es económico, hay aspectos que pueden mejorar. La habitación que reservé era con vista al patio y con baño privado: me dieron una con vista a la calle y con baño compartido: el resultado fue un poco de ruido en la calle, pero mucho menor al que hacen los otros huéspedes al caminar por los pasillos. En realidad no me molesta el baño compartido, pero sí hubo algunos inconvenientes: otros huéspedes dejan sobrantes de jabón, shampoo y otros utensilios de baño tirados; lo único malo es que el papel higiénico se termina, y en algunos momentos, los tres baños están ocupados. El internet un poco lento. Por otro lado, la ubicación es perfecta, en el Centro de Monterrey: zona segura y con muchos lugares importantes accesibles a pie. Tienen una cocina y áreas abiertas en las que se puede convivir a gusto. Mi habitación muy limpia, y la cama también, cómoda. El personal de la recepción es muy amable, las 24 horas, y la smarTV en el cuarto funcionó perfecto. Sí regresaré.

Un buen lugar para descansar y muy económico. Bien ubicado (cerca de bares y restaurantes, a una cuadra del MARCO, también es fácil moverse en auto desde ahí). Nuestra habitación estaba limpia y el baño, aunque podría renovarse un poco, también estaba limpio. El estacionamiento es en la calle, pero la zona se ve tranquila y no causa inseguridad. El personal es atento. Sí lo recomendamos.

He viajado por diferentes estados de la República y esta instalación me dejó sorprendido , sobre todo por el precio y además mega limpio

What I like about this property is the walking distance to everything, from museums, river walk, restaurants and street food, bars, shopping, etc. Also the price per night was great, and the help from the front desk was good, since I inadvertently got a room without a bath, and she was kind enogh to change it for us. But there were few things that I didn't like it, like the water from the shower wasn't draining properly, the bedding was wornd down, pillows also were not good, only toilet paper was there nothing else. The door of our room we cannot opened from the inside and i have to call the front desk to come and unlock it for us. Also on friday night the music all around the property from bars and restaurants was so loud that we cannot sleep. For us was an ok experience cominig from a hostel. I never before rented one, i guess that's why was not what I expected. May be for young people wanting to party is exellent but for us wasn't too too bad, I guess you get what you are paying for. Also the wheater didn't help us to enjoy the surroundings for was pouring rain every day.

Muy buena estancia para conocer un poco de Monterrey y sus alrededores, la cama muy cómoda, el agua caliente y la cocina equipada para preparar lo que uno quiera, sin duda me hospedaría nuevamente con ellos.

Great location and price. Parking is a challenge. I think a little paint and cleaning up would go a long way as the place is rather worn and in need of some care.

Es un lugar muy limpio y cálido, el personal es la mejor parte.

Lo recomiendo ampliamente, todo muy limpio tanto las habitaciones y áreas comunes, personal muy amable, siempre atentas y accesibles a ayudar. Lugar muy familiar, huéspedes muy respetuosos. Definitivamente un lugar que te deja una grata sensación y el lugar muy cerca de todo y seguro

El personal muy amable, la habitacion muy comoda, lo unico un poco incomodo es que no permiten modificar la temperatura del aire acondicionado y no hay servicio de limpieza en la habitacion durante los dias de la estancia, desconozco si asi funciona en los hostales.

Es un lugar limpio, pero si creo que por el precio en habitación privada podrian poner shampoo,si quieres descansar no te recomiendo este lugar, hay demasiado ruido todo el dia y escuchas el ruido de las habitaciones de alado y el ruido en la cocina se escucha bastante.

Gran ubicación en el barrio antiguo, lindo hostal.

Muy buen lugar para descansar. Solo no estoy acostumbrado a los hostales, pero está limpio, la gente muy respetuosa y es una buena opción. Está en el mero Barrio Antiguo y eso es un plus ya que hay de todo a todas horas.

Todo estuvo perfecto, cerca del centro, cerca del metro todo muy bien.
