This is definitely a hostel, so shared rooms (unless you reserve a private room), but it is clean, the wifi is very good (320 mbps up and down according to ookla), the front desk woman is very kind, they provide a bath towel, and it is located in a very old part of town (the street is very narrow). It would be helpful to bring a combination lock to lock up your valuables in the provided lockers in the shared rooms. The nearby restaurant "Madre Oaxaca" looks like it has a great mole dish.
